Yeah I read the manga when I was young! Is it markedly different from the show? It seemed like the show stayed faithful to the manga up to when I stopped reading.

Not much. The order of a couple scenes is switched around and I think there’s more gore in the manga I think.

Yeah, it's really worth it if you're not squeamish! The designs are interesting and the concepts it poses are thought provoking!

Whenever I can’t find something to watch I go on myanimelist and find a show I like, then there’s a little recommendations section and I just scroll through the recommendations and try to find something good. Works most of the time, just takes a little.

Black butler and wind breaker are some good current anime tho.
