Rameel
He nodded down at Grace, Ash, and Sawyer as both greeted though it was obvious they were both busy in their own drama. Eavesdropping slightly as he picked at the food, Rameel couldn't help but sense the tension that rose once another girl had occupied the seat next to Sawyer. Some type of bad blood between the two that was glaringly obvious as Sawyer shuffled over to Ash, so quickly he'd almost thought the two were about to collide on the seat. Rameel could only wonder what the history between the two meant, staring like a lost puppy. He didn't know much about the kids yet, and hated the feeling, but held it in, taking a drag at his carton of mini chocolate milk; the only part of his meal he'd actually touched.

His ears perked at the sound of footsteps approaching, and another student approached. This one a tall, brown-haired man. Rameel noted the familiar face of Ryder as he too, took a seat at the table. Another exchange of words rose, this time between Ryder and Mason. Unsure again, really about what'd occurred, he could only try to manage the bickering between the two. "Teammates aren't usually supposed to fight like this." He commented in a low voice, just loud enough for those at the table to hear. He wasn't trying to get between whatever the two jocks had, but also wouldn't want their animosity having the same affect on the field in future.

"You're right though, the Homecoming's game something I've been looking forward to for a while-- well, back at Raeleigh. Sorry you can't play this season man, we could've been a lethal duo." Glancing down at Mason's injury for a moment. "We've got next season always though. Scouts are gonna go mad when we're finally on the field together. And you too, Ryder." He nodded at the second teammate he'd met all day. Taking a small bite of the cafeteria's mashed potatoes, Rameel cringed at the taste and forced the bite down. "Food's kinda suspect though," he laughed, "I've got to bring over some of Raeleigh's finest-- mostly burgers and Caribbean food though. At least thats what I like."

Grace frowned, upset to hear that her run-in with the teacher this morning got worse. “Sorry to hear he’s still on your case.” Grace felt like she was at fault. She was the one who pulled her into the classroom in the first place. When asked about her own day. Grace opened her mouth about to reply when something caught Sawyer’s gaze drifted from her to somewhere else. Out of curiosity she turned to look too.

It was just a girl, oh. Taking a double take herself she realized the girl was extremely good looking. Oh. Surprisingly, the girl rudely intruded and sat herself down next to Sawyer, Grace took a mental note at Sawyer’s reaction.

At her choice of words, Grace raised an eyebrow looking between the two. Sensing the obvious tension.. and not knowing what else to do. She spoke “Grace Jackson.” She introduced herself with a smile on her face. “And you are?” Grace was just interested on how they knew each-other. Maybe they’re close friends?

Hajar was close behind this new guy, but her eyes and mind were wandering with a curious suspicion like they usually did. Once they got into the secluded classroom, she pulled her jacket off and gave her shoulders a roll, the Phoenix on back peek out of her tank top as if it was a dragon on her shoulder, checking things out. “Don’t worry, not the first time and not the last time I’ll be cleaning stuff off my jacket.” Stuff could mean anything, blood or brown slip, just depended on what the day held for her. She smirked at his comment about not punching him, “Well, last I checked people are exactly okay with the idea of just beating down another in public. Plus... I don’t need authorities looking at me right now.” Hajar shrugged her shoulders again, , “Plus I’m gonna believe you spilled this brown shit on me on accident .” Her dark eyes almost glowed in the sunlight slanting through the window. “Now while I like the idea of running around and flipping off the law abiding people, skipping class and what not.” Her lithe British accent was coming through as she spoke in a lower tone, “But before I go trasping around this god forsaken town, I’d like to know the boy I’m running around with yeah?”

Ryan looked back over to Hajar and noticed the ink on her back. "Nice ink." He said. "I got some of my own... Maybe I'll show you later."He said with a smile on his face. He loved looking at tattoos and was so happy to see what people had on them. This girl was interesting. She had ink and she was a punk. This girl was interesting. "Well if you must know. I'm Ryan, Ryan Maxwell, and let's just say I ran this school when it came to fighting... Some little shit tried to take me the first day. After that I walked out on that scene." He said. He told her the truth.

"Plus it helps I grew up in this town so I just happen to know exactly where is a good place to have some fun." He said. "Might even be able to get you some more ink at a good price." He said looking at her tattoo. "I know I've been needing more on my arms." He said. He wanted to get a date on one arm and a lion to go with the date. "But this can go both ways. Who is the girl that's gonna be riding with me?" He said looking at her. If she wanted to know about him, then he waned to know who she was.

Raven

“Surprising, yes.” Agreeing with June. It was very clear the boy was attractive, she couldn’t believe no-one snatched him up yet. “But good on you for not caring.” Giving him a wink. “Smart boy.” Turning her attention back to June raising a brow at her words, at June’s old school everyone advertised themselves? Raven’s almost positive Whoever didn’t have a date to homecoming at this school were just as desperate. They’d wear a sign on their back that said ‘take me’ and not in the sexual way.

But that was her own opinion. When June asked if there was anything she should know. She grinned “I mean other than the fact that yours truly will be there.” She shrugged. “Everything there is simple, homecoming queen.. king, y’know that stuff.” Leaning on the table. “Unless Chase knows something i don’t.”

Raven looked away in thought. “Maybe i should try for homecoming queen..” she said, and wrinkled her nose at the thought of it. As much as she loves attention, it didn’t seem like a big deal. “Mm. Nevermind. I’m a queen in my own way.”

Sawyer
Sawyer shot an apologetic look in Ash's direction as she scooted away from her. Sawyer almost cursed when Grace introduced herself to Natalie, of course she did she's a nice person, but this was not the time to be nice. She needed to get Natalie away from there before she said anything-

"I'm Sawyer's girlfriend, sweetheart. Who are you?" Natalie leaned forward with a devious smile and Sawyer could've killed herself right then and there.

"No. You are not. Natalie, I don't know what the hell you think you're doing but get the hell away from us." Sawyer straightened herself back up, having shaken off her previous surprise and replaced her deer in headlights look with a glare. Natalie simply laughed.

"Oh, calm down, babe. Did you forget how to have fun while I was away? Hmm?" Natalie reached across the distance Sawyer had made between them and placed a hand on her thigh. Sawyer jumped a little and shoved the thing away from her in haste.

"I am spoken for now." Sawyer glanced at Grace, a glance that Natalie most definitely caught and the expression on her face hardened, "And you're kind of a raging bitch, so." Sawyer shrugged. Natalie nostrils flared but she managed to keep her fake smile.

"Well, isn't that adorable." Natalie looked Grace over and laughed a little, "Your taste has certainly changed hasn't it? She must be some kind of miracle in-"

"Fuck off, Natalie." Sawyer cut her off before she could finish that godforsaken sentence but Natalie payed no mind to her.

"Tell me, Grace, do you know exactly what kind of girl your dating?" She let out a laugh, "Because I certainly do and you don't seem very....fit for her."

"Natalie." Sawyer seethed, "Don't pay any attention to her, Grace. She's an ass."

~Hajar Giles~

“Hajar.” She just spoke her first name, it was a traditional Sudanese name given to her by the French bastards who used her like Cinderella, they didn’t want her to become to French because it would ruin her use as a slave. For a very long moment, Hajar just sat and decided to pick apart if it would be a rise decision to tell him her last name, but he didn’t look like a Russian and said that he had grown up in this town his whole life. “Giles, Hajar Giles. Immigrant and thief extraordinaire.” She decides he could know a little part of her for now, it was okay to allow some openness for now. “First things first.” Hajar popped open one of the secret pockets of the leather jacket and tossed the pack of ruined cigarettes into the nearest can, “Lets go buy some cigarettes cause I need a new pack, that slop ruined mine.”

OK, so he missed like half of the first class trying to wiggle out of the dang wolf. No big deal, right? At least he wasn’t feeling like a baked potato anymore. So now after an eventful morning, it was feeding time. Neck Tie stopped by the bulletin and put up some ‘Save the Wolves’ posters. Then his stomach growled and he hurried to the cafeteria where he picked up his tray and joined the line.

Then he plopped his tray with the usual spuds and peas and chicken down in front of Elizabeth, who was eating alone by the exit and stuck out like a sore thumb. ‘Hey hoo-man!!’ At first, he thought she mightn’t recognise him without the excess fur and the tail and all that, so he said, ‘It’s me, Neck Tie. The, um. . . wolf you met.’ He glanced down at the sandwich she was eating with some curiosity. ‘It’s pretty crowded in here, huh?’

Neck Tie felt bad for Elizabeth because she was there all shy by herself, and he remembered how bad and traumatising his own first day was. On his first day, everybody picked on him for wearing a necktie, and he even got floored twice, once in the hallway and once more on the football pitch. The hoo-mans at Westbrook could be pretty mean and insensitive. So he tried to blabber a lot of things so there was less silence to go around and it was less awkward between them.

‘So you were at the pool this morning, right?’ He held his knife in a fist as he tried to divide the tough chicken on his plate. He offered her a bit to taste. Elizabeth would soon learn that the food here was very suspect. ‘Did you like it? The pool, I mean. I’m not a very good swimmer. Like, we didn’t really have a good pool where I’m from. But I play football. . . I mean, uh. . . soccer.’ Nope, he wasn’t making that mistake again!

‘I’m from England, I am. But we moved here like two months ago, just me and me dad,’ he said, ‘I think you’ll like it here, though. The kids are a bit weird but you just gotta be weirder than them, then it won’t matter so much!’

Or just be a wolf.

Ryan ran his hand throught his scruf when she said her name. It was interesting. It was rather interesting. He had never met anyone named Hajar, or a person with a full on mohawk for that matter too. "I could go for another pack too." He said giving her a smile. He walked over to the door. It wasn't that hard to sneak out. Not many people knew that the workshop had a door that let out. Ryan had used that way so many times that he knew that no one was in there during lunch.

After they were outside Ryan led Hajar to his fathers motorcycle. Ryan's bike was trashed but his dad's was still in perfect condition. His father had left it in the garage for when he got out. He wasn't going to use it now, and Ryan wanted it to feel the road again. It was what his father would have wanted. He climbed on and threw on his glasses. He threw on his helmat. If he wasn't wearing his helmet before he wouldn't of been there that day. He handed Hajar a helmet. "Best wear it..." He said as she climbed on. When she was on, he kicked his right foot down, making the engine roar to life.

He sat there for one second. It had only been one month, but still he missed the feeling of the engine as it purred between his thighs. He took a breath in and let it out. When she was fully on he slowly backed out of his parking spot. "Hold on. Michelle is a firey girl who likes to run free." He said loud enough for her to hear. He hoped she was hanging on tight. He squeezed his right hand and Michelle took off. Ryan held on as they went forward. He could still feel Hajar holding on. "It's time for some real fun." He said pulling out of the parking lot. He pulled onto the highway. As soon as he was on, he let Michelle loose.

He didn't spend to much time on the highway. He pulled off on the town next to Westbrook. It wasn't anything special a town about the size of westbrook. "Welcome to Falmouth." He yelled out over the engine. He pulled into a corner market. He parked Michelle and shut her off. "It's a small town that no one knows who I am. I come here when I skip. Come on." He said before both of them climbed off. After they were off he lead her into the store. He grabbed a small bag of chips then got two packs of smokes. One for him and one for her. He had a lighter. After he was done, and they walked out he opened his pack and took a cigarette out. He set it to his mouth and lit it. After he was lit He offered up his lighter to her. "So a theif... Interesting. How good are you?" He asked as he took a drag.

Grace

Grace blinked in surprise. She’s her what?! When Sawyer corrected Natalie. She didn’t know what to make of the situation, but they were obviously not just close friends. Her eyes catching Natalie’s hand as she tried to place a hand on Sawyer’s leg. Tearing her gaze away from the sight. Jealousy threatening to boil over Grace just took a breath watching the whole interaction.

Looking away when Sawyer glanced in her direction. And visibly tensing as she felt Natalie’s gaze traveling over her. Turning red in embarrassment at Natalie's words. They haven't even-- Grace was suddenly aware of how many people were at the table. Glad that Sawyer stopped her from finishing the sentence.

Her eyes snapped to Natalie's when she addressed her, unsure of what to say. Did she know who she was dating? after all.. they've only been dating for less than a month. Sawyer never bothered to mention Natalie before, or an ex. Grace was more than sure she'd dated other girls before but.. Natalie was.. a lot. Maybe Grace wasn't fit for her. She shook off the insecurity. She wasn't about to let Natalie get to her. Kill them with kindness..

Instead of ignoring Natalie, "Mm, i wouldn't be so sure. Everyone needs their own personal cheerleader, right?" She replied her with a bright smile. She seemed like the kind of person who'd get upset from not getting what she wants. And she obviously wanted to bother Grace and Sawyer. What better way to get back at her than by being nice? Don't get Grace wrong though, she hates her.

Sawyer
Sawyer couldn't be more grateful that Grace was who she was right now. She'd been so distracted trying to get Natalie away before she caused a mess that she'd forgotten that Grace was practically anti-Natalie. Which got her thinking about how different the two of them actually were. What the hell had Sawyer been thinking with Natalie? It seemed that was a question she couldn't even answer.

Sawyer smiled at Grace at the reference to the first conversation they'd ever had. When she returned her gaze to Natalie the girl was fuming. She couldn't be more proud of her girlfriend, but Natalie wasn't finished just yet. With a sickly sweet smile she stood up from the table with her eyes still trained on Grace.

"Yes, I suppose they do." She turned and walked behind Sawyer, leaning down and whispering but loud enough for Grace to over hear. "Have fun with your little prude, babe. You know where to find me when you get bored of her." Natalie started to walk off but Sawyer's hand shot out and grabbed her by the collar before she could step away. Without a second thought, Sawyer's fist collided with Natalie's nose and a sickening crack sounded. Natalie stumbled back, holding her now very broken nose with a devilish look in her eyes.

"Talk about my girlfriend like that again and you'll be in a lot more pain than a broken nose, bitch." Sawyer held Natalie's gaze with s glare of her own.

"Now look what you've done, Sawyer. Always handling things with your fists." Natalie chuckled, "Well I can hurt you too, babe, and the first thing I'm going for is little Saint Mary over there." And with that Natalie took off, leaving Sawyer with a bloody fist and a whole lot more to worry about than flunking Physics.

Ryder

tumblr_inline_pdnlaaiedq1vdiecd_1280.gif

All thoughts of feeding Ash were interrupted by both the commotion on the other side of Ash and Mason's smartass remark, earning a withering glance from the jock. Whatever was happening with Sawyer and Grace would have to wait until later, as long as it didn't affect Ash he didn't care. The new kid, Ramel, seemed nice but Ryder didn't have time for pleasentries as he quickly stood from his seat beside Ash.

"I don't usually hate my teammates but Mason is an exception." He replied, staring Mason down as he moved to stand in front of him. It had been a month since his last fight, he'd tried very hard to listen to Ash and not upset her. Even if they weren't dating he still cared about her opinion, but he couldn't let Mason get away with this one. He should've hit him the second he said anything to Ash, but he would make up for that now.

"I'm sure June would love to find out the first one, you can find out that second one now." While Ryder didn't have interest in anyone but Ash, he knew it would piss off Mason and that was all he wanted. All thoughts of keeping his promise to Ash were out the window as he shoved his teammate, waiting for him to get up and make good on his word. He wasn't about to threaten a fight and not bring it.

"Don't you dare talk to Ash like that again." Before Mason could react, he landed a solid punch on his jaw, too angry to care that he'd potentially just hurt his mended relationship with Ash.

Chase

tumblr_inline_oc0nodZ2261rifr4k_500.gif

"I guess I just haven't been interested in anyone? Though I guess several girls have told me they were interested." He explained, shrugging at June's question. Last year he had taken a date and she'd complained practically the whole time, it wasn't exactly something he wanted to relive a second time. It was his senior year so he figured he would go, but there was no one he'd even considered taking as a date, especially the ones who practically threw themselves at him.

"I'd vote for you." The jock remarked as he turned to give Raven a genuine smile. He didn't know the brunette well, but she seemed nice enough. Suddenly, he heard yelling from across the lunch room, turning to see none other than his little brother punching someone in the face.

Typical.

Chase practically jumped out of his seat, hurrying over to where Ryder was yelling at some guy in a leg cast. Honestly, he had no idea how he was related to this asshole. The poor guy was already in a leg cast, what could he have possibly done to piss Ryder off this much? Was it too much to ask for one normal day?

Alaska

original.gif

"Ohhh, Drake has a date!" Alaska teased, poking him lightly in the chest as a laugh spilled from her lips. She was always happy to hear her best friend had a date, Drake was the most precious thing on this Earth and she wanted him to be happy. If this girl dared reject him she'd have no problem beating some sense into her. It had been a rough school year for him already, he deserved to relax and be a normal teenager for once.

"Honestly I don't know if I'm going to go. You and Nova both have dates, or at least I assume Nova is going with Jace? I don't feel like watching a bunch of people I don't like makeout all night." She shrugged, taking a bite out of her pb and j sandwich. Dances weren't really her thing, she felt more comfortable in skates than heels.

"Hmm...I haven't really thought about it. No guy would ever ask me." After the Kanen incident everyone seemed to be avoiding her like the plague, she highly doubted anyone would even consider asking her to homecoming. "Maybe make a sign and bring it to my game? That'd be cute." She looked off in thought for a moment, wondering what it would be like to have someone care about her enough to do something thoughtful like that for her. The only non-related male that cared about her was Drake, and they were too good of friends for her to think of him like that.

Turning her attention back to Drake, she gave him a sly smile before stealing the sunglasses off of his head and trying them on, making a kissy face at Drake as she modeled them for him. "New look?" She asked, quickly changing the subject away from homecoming.

Mason
tumblr_inline_pav9o7asru1rw8cq9_250.gif

He was honestly a bit surprised when Ryder stood up, and even shoved him. And to think, Mason had thought that Ash had somehow broken any fight left in this freaking meathead. So he stood up, facing the younger kid with narrowed eyes. At mention of June, Mason just rolled his eyes and smirked. "Please, you can have her when I'm done. I mean you like Ash, so you're obviously into sloppy seconds." Okay, okay, so that wasn't really how Mason felt, but it was impossible to tell by the careless smirk on his face, and the tone of his voice. Mason had become a master of hiding his true feelings years ago.

Mason reeled back a bit when Ryder punched him, and his hand went up to touch his jaw. "God, I thought you could hit better than that," he said and then simply brought the lovely brace that he was still toting around (fucking Kanen -- six months of recovery at least, seriously?!) and into Ryder's knee. The whole act threw Mason off balance so he did stumble back before managing to catch his balance and then glared back at Ryder, waiting for whatever happened next.

Ash

Okay, so asking Ryder to not punch people had just been stupid. Certain guys, like Mason, were totally worth punching and despite what she had told him before, Ash was glad that Ryder had gotten up punched him in the jaw. Still, both what Ryder said and what Mason said didn't do much for her mood, and Ash was soon sinking down into her chair as people started to come over to stop the fight. Just great -- one of them was going to say something stupid, and that rumor would be dredged up from the grave.

For a moment, her thoughts trailed back to the present that Ryan had left her, and how he wanted to talk today after school. Ash had a feeling she knew what he would say, and for just a second, she wondered if maybe Ryan would be a safer bet to date than Ryder. Although in the end... well, Ash had more or less made up her mind, and it wasn't like Ryan was much of a winner himself. So even if Ryder could be kind of, well, stupid and quick to anger, well, Ash still liked him.

So, for what felt like the eightieth time this year, Ash started to get up to follow Ryder when she realized that the girl Sawyer and Grace had been talking to was gone... and Sawyer had blood on her fist. Great -- so this week that was supposed to be fightless now had too many going on to keep track of. Rolling her eyes, Ash just stood up, walking over but keeping her distance from Ryder and Mason so as not to get hit by accident or something.

----------------------------------------------------------

Drake
tumblr_ms8fyvhdu01ssnviyo8_250.gif

It killed Drake that she thought like that, and that he couldn't even tell her the truth about what he wanted to do. At least now he knew exactly how to go about it -- and he had plenty of pink glitter at home and other things. Sure, Drake and Mason's room would end up looking like the Fairy Godmother had come through trying to turn their little piece of hell into a princess snow globe, but what mattered more to Drake was trying to pick Alaska's mood up after this.

"Please, it is tacky to make out at the Homecoming dance." Drake pointed out. At least, to him it was, and he always found himself chasing the last few kids out with brooms and trying to break up their make out sessions. Especially in the bathrooms. Oh, the horrible things that Drake had seen in his time on the dance committees... and he was only a sophomore.

"Hell yes. Like, I thought I could pull those off, but you take those to an entirely new level." He said, smiling at Alaska. And it was true -- if anyone could make pink sunglasses look good, it was apparently her. "Although let's be honest, you make everything you wear look good. But you should definitely invest in a pair of those for yourself."

June
June shrugged. “I guess that’s a bummer to not be interested in anyone who wanted to go with you. But, yeah! Stick to what you want.” She said with a nod before sipping from her milk carton then glancing at Raven. “You would win if you ran for homecoming Queen. I would vote for you too.”

Just as she finished saying that, she saw movement at Mason’s table. Then, she saw a guy punch Mason. Her jaw dropped for a moment and she realized that guy was Ryder. Just as she looked over at Chase she saw him getting up and heading over there. “I should probably go to.” She told Raven already getting out of her seat and dashing over to them just as Mason hit Ryder back. She wasn’t quite sure what to do, glancing at Chase then back at the two. She couldn’t quite dive in there and she couldn’t pull Mason back with her shoulder just getting better. But, she decided to shout instead. “STOP! What are you two doing?!” She had a loud voice when she wanted to, but obviously, she would rather be quiet in any and all situations. “There’s no reason to be fighting right now.” This time she was much softer with her tone.

The plan had been to put Mason in his place and then let him be, simply show him he wasn't going to allow him to talk about Ash like that. But now? Ryder saw red as Mason continued to shit talk not only Ash, but also June. While Ryder didn't know June outside of the blog incident, it was incredibly not okay for Mason to talk about his own date like that. This guy deserved to have his other leg broken.

The metal slamming against his shin caused him to let out a small yell of pain, it was definitely going to leave a bruise. While Mason was still off-balance the younger boy grabbed him, struggling under the weight of pure muscle, but managing to pick him up and throw him down on the table. The metal cracked under the pressure of both boy's weight, collapsing to the ground with a loud crash.

"Shut the fuck up you piece of shit!" Ryder practically screamed, his fist connecting with Mason's chest. Nothing was going to stop the rage that consumed him now, no one would ever dare say another word about Ash again.

Chase

tumblr_n49kdsmweD1sjpwd4o1_250.gif

The eldest Vaughn watched in horror as Ryder quite literally broke a table, his blood boiling at the sheer stupidity of his younger brother. He wondered if it was too late to put Ryder up for adoption. Honestly, he had no idea what had happened to his siblings to make them the way they were. Sure, Chase sometimes had a temper, but he'd never felt the need to throw someone through a table.

"Get off of him you idiot!" Chase demanded, wrapping his arms under Ryder's and pulling him up even as he struggled, earning an elbow to the face as he did so.

"I can't believe we're related." Chase grumbled as he dragged his brother as far away from Mason as he possibly could. It was easy to see the rage in the younger boy's eyes, there was no way he was going to let him go.

"He deserved it!" Ryder insisted, rubbing his knee gently, wincing at the contact. At least he'd managed to get a hit in.

Alaska

U4CG.gif

The brunette was about to reply to her friend when suddenly there was a loud crash, causing her to whip her head around to see what the hell could have caused such a commotion. Naturally, it was her twin brother. With haste she stood up from her seat at the table, rushing over to see just what Ryder had gotten himself into this time. It was a shock to see him on top of Drake's older brother, her jaw dropping as she watched the two. It was going to be very awkward when Drake came over from now on.

"What the actual fuck!" Alaska yelled, bending down to see if Mason was okay and glaring up at her brother. Ryder had done a lot of dumb, destructive things, but breaking a table was a whole new level. It would be a miracle if he didn't get suspended for the rest of the month.

"Are you...okay?" It was a stupid question because he was very clearly not okay, but she wasn't sure what else to say. Sorry my brother threw you through a table? She looked to Ash for help, confused as to what had happened and who was to blame. It was usually a safe bet to blame Ryder.

Elizabeth

The sandwich was good. It was not like the ones made by her granny, but it had to do. She ate it slowly, choosing to relax more so than anything. She wondered if Drake really meant it with that invitation... Clearly he had more courage than her, she wouldn't have dared to approach him, much less speak to him. But still, as her thoughts moved in her mind and as she was chewing on the bun, a boy sat next to her with a plate. It was Neck Tie. She smiled as the boy sat down.
"Hey, Neck. Not really, I just like to be by myself most of the time, but no problem, we can... uhm, eat together" She said to him, turning her attention away from her thoughts and onto the boy.

As he offered her to taste his own food, she shrugged. She reached out for a fork near her and after taking a bite, she did realise the chicken was... well... let's say she did not really like it. She did swallow it, but it wasn't very pleasant.
"Actually, no. I was going there, but my hunger prevailed and here I am..." Eli responded, brushing some hair that was getting in the way back behind her shoulders

She was going to continue speaking, wanting to adress the weird kids part he was talking about, but then a crash could be heard. Looking up from the sandvich, she immediately spotted two guys duking it out on the floor and a girl approaching them. Her loud "What the actual fuck!" could be heard even at Elizabeth's desk. It was none of her business, but then she looked over at from which table she came from... and there was Drake. She froze for a moment, as the boys continued to fight, thinking about walking up to them. It looked like things were only revving upp from there...

"Uhm... m-maybe we should help...?" She asked Neck quietly, meekly standing up to have a better view.

Grace’s smiled at Sawyer for a brief second, it faded when Natalie whispered but insulted her loud enough, Her jaw dropped when Sawyer punched Natalie. She literally just punched her ex.. for her. Woah, okay. After Natalie finished her threats, it was just ultimate chaos, Mason and Ryder started getting into it. Grace glared at Mason when he spoke about June, even though they weren’t on speaking terms at the moment.. but what he said got to her. Shaking her head and standing up, as soon as she did Mason was on top of the lunch table she was previously sitting at. “I mean.. no offense Mason, but you were really just asking for it.” Grace rolled her eyes, walking around the broken table and taking ahold of Sawyer’s hand the one that wasn’t covered with blood, and walked out of the cafeteria.

Pushing the bathroom door open and making her way to the sink, Grace didn’t say anything for a minute as she gently started to wash off the blood with a heavy sigh. “You didn’t have to hit her.” She finally spoke.

“But.. thanks.” By now Grace was just.. she wasn’t upset in anyway. She was.. done. If that makes sense. “So.. Natalie.. that’s a thing.” She said hoping Sawyer would shed some light on things.

Raven smiled at the boy, he was sweet. “Thanks handsome.” She was about to reply to June, when the two of them looked at Mason’s table out of curiousity she turned too. After seeing Mason get punched, she shrugged unsurprised. The guy was an asshole. He probably deserved it. Watching as Chase quickly got up to likely deal with his siblings, and June getting up to leave her for Mason. “Mmhm, go save your boyfriend.” maybe it sounded harsh.. Raven wasn’t in the mood to apologize for it.

Raven sighed pulling up her phone, busying herself. She looked up when she heard a thud and saw Mason on the broken table. She grinned at the sight of it. Impressed at Ryder’s strength, she leaned on her hand. Awaiting to see how this one would turn out.

Lunch had turned into an absolute hailstorm in the short span of time that they'd been there. Mason was on the table and more people were beginning to gather around and Sawyer was glad that Grace dragged her off when she did. Sawyer smiled as Grace started washing her hand off and decided to let her continue. When she spoke Sawyer blanched at her.

"Of course I had to. She may be my ex or whatever but that gives her not right to talk about you like that." Sawyer's teeth ground together, "I've always wanted to do that anyway." She smiled and went quiet until Grace spoke again and Sawyer found a frown appearing on her face. Natalie was not a topic she wanted to talk about but she supposed that she probably should.

"Yeah. We dated like two or three months." The word dated rolled off Sawyer's tongue like it was poison, "I don't know why I ever did anything with her, she's the devil incarnate." Sawyer sneered a little, "Anyway we broke up like last year and she moved to Italy with her parents. Haven't talked to her since. I have no idea why she's back all of a sudden."

Truth be told neither did Natalie, and now she was just pissed off. If Sawyer was going to defend this little princess then Natalie would have to take her down first. It should be easy. A can of spray paint and a little artistic liberty should do the job.

She didn’t speak, she was never for one for a whole lot of unnecessary words, while she followed Ryan out of the school and over to his bike, taking the helmet in her hands, giving it a long look before pulling it onto her head. The bike reminded her of the one Connor had gotten right before the triplets split, he was probably using that bike now, the black cross on the neck of her neck almost twinged with longing. The triplets all had the same black cross on the back of their necks, it was just a symbol for them to rally behind once they became independent adults, something to remember each other by when they were far apart. “Small... middle of nowhere.” Hajar nodded at the name of this little quaint place, she liked being in the middle of nowhere, it was always the best place to be. Her small frame was almost glued to his, keeping close but always trailing just a little behind so she could see the whole world. Once they were out of the convenient store and a cigarette was between her lips, “Thanks” She tool offered lighter and used it, breathing in the heavenly aroma of tobacco before puffing out a smoke ring. “Well...” She pulled his driver’s license out of the front pocket of her jeans, then his debit card and a twenty dollar bill she had nipped from his wallet as well. She loves to pickpocket, it was always fun to hit a mark then watch them freak out when they realized their possessions were gone . “I know your address, your birthday, and I think you look pretty cute in your ID, what were you when they took this? 16?” A wicked joy came to her eyes as a lazy grin spread across her lips, “I’m okay as a thief, my brothers are a little better then me, but I’m faster cause I’m smaller.”

He caught Elizabeth’s arm as she got up. He didn’t mean to do that at all, but it kinda just happened in the spur of the moment. ‘No, wait, don’t,’ he said, letting go of her as he got up from his seat also. ‘Those guys, they fight all the time. You shouldn’t get involved. It’s not worth it, trust me.’

Neck Tie looked over at the commotion at the other table, getting visual identification on some of the culprits. Funnily enough it was always the same kids doing the fighting. Neck Tie hated all the fighting that went on in the school. The last time he tried to intervene, he was sent flying into metal chairs like a ragdoll. By his own friend at that. So he didn’t want the same thing to happen to Elizabeth, especially on her first day. ‘It’s stupid,’ he told her, ‘Like, that’s the only way they know how to settle their differences. . . It's so stupid.’ He shook his head as he watched Mason lying on the broken table.

‘I think I’m gonna go get a teacher,’ he said. ‘Hey, you need to get your locker keys still, right? We could go to the office together, if you like!' He was really hoping that she’d come with him. But she seemed drawn to the fighting as it unfolded, and who knew whether she’d trust him with this one.

Elizabeth

After she stood up, she felt a grip on her arm. It was Neck. He told her that it was fruitless, that they were fighting all the time, and that she wouldn't want to get involved. Eli nodded gently, sitting back down. She was thinking about it, as she did see Drake also at the table. But she'll meet up with him later, it's not that she has anything of importance to say to him, at least right now

She looked at the boy once he said that he was going to get the teacher. He also offered Elizabeth a trip to the office to get the keys to her locker. She smiled at him, reaching into her pocket and pulling her keys.
"I've already got them. I'll be done with the food in the moment, and we can head out, but... still, maybe something happened? He is lying there..." Her gaze fell upon the boy that was lying on the broken table. But, if he was duking it out often, then so be it. She wasn't going to get involved.

Eli stood up, taking the last bite of her sandvich and throwing the serviette away.

"Okay, let's go, then. I think it's on my way to the pool as well, so we'll split up once I can tell when to split off.. uhm, if that's okay with you"

He was glad that Elizabeth took his advice about keeping away from the fight. ‘Don’t worry,’ Neck Tie said to her, smiling, ‘I can walk you to the pool, no problem!’ Luckily, he was no longer in the wolf costume so walking wasn't such a daunting prospect now.

And so he waited eagerly for Elizabeth to be done with her sandwich, and then they got up and fled the chaotic scene together. Now they were in the hallway, and Neck Tie pointed to their left, ‘That’s my locker, over there. It smelt like a dead rat when I first got it. . . And sometimes there are ants in it!’ Well, the tiny critters were mostly his fault. . . for keeping so much candy and chocolate in his locker between his spare socks and school books.

They were nearly at the swimming pool when Neck Tie turned as if to say something to the girl, but he didn’t. Then they took a couple more steps, and the boy was working up his courage so hard a drop of sweat rolled down his temple. Finally he said, ‘Hey, um, have you heard about that homecoming thing tomorrow? . . . Cos I’m going there as the wolf. But you could join me, if you like. I don’t mean as a date or anyfink,’ he said, stammering, ‘Just. . . you know, if you wanted to go, we could go together. It’s OK if you don’t wanna. I just thought it’d be fun, you know, to—’ BAM. Neck Tie slammed right into the door. The sign says ‘pull’, dumbass.

Well, they were off. And as they continued to walk, the girl wondered as to what the pool would look like. How deep it would be, most importantly, as depth was the most important thing she was looking for. She loved swimming, it was the most refreshing thing she could think of, and her mind would always clear once on the pool.

She then noticed Neck turning to her, as if to try and say something, but all that brought up was him just awkwardly opening his mouth, and then turning back in the direction they were walking. She didn't give it much thought, thinking he was about to tell something as trivia, but decided not to.

But then they approached the door to the pool. She could already see the pool water from the window overlooking the thing, and it looked glorious from the surface... but she'd have to dive in to see how it truly looked like. Elizabeth then heard Neck ask her out to the Homecoming, and she stopped, slightly tuned off by that request. Now two guys were asking her out... Now... well, that was weird... but what tore her out of her thinking was the boy's sudden stop... or rather him slamming himself on the door. She frowned, worringly approaching the boy.

"Are you okay?" She asked, checking if nothing happened to him. From the outside, there was no damage, no wounds or bruises... but still, she had to adress the request..

"Well, Neck... uhm... This is my first day at school, and I barely know anyone around here.. I won't lie, I don't even know if I WANT to go to the homecoming... but I just... I don't know..." She said honestly. No, really, this was her first day, and already two guys were asking her out,
"I won't promise anything... I'm sorry, but I just can't... nonetheless, I do appreciate you coming an extra mile walking with me to the pool, but I'll be heading off now.... so... see you later?" Eli waved Neck off, giving him a soft smile, before p u l l i n g the door and entering the pool, now headed for the changing room. He could see a small bit of tint on her cheeks, but that's about it. She did pick up her swimsuit while they were passing by her locker, so that was good.

The lunch period came quickly for Shiloh, but instead of taking the time to stop eat, he continued to spend most the day wandering around the school in an effort to learn the layout of the campus. It would've been easy, but Shiloh was one of the most direction challenged persons to have ever walked the Earth in present times so he was lost in what seemed to be the athletics department of the school and no one was around who could point him back in the direction that he needed to go so he just decided to resign to his fate of being lost. He just started to hum, his voice was low and gruff, just like his grandfather's was. the deep sound purred like a roar from his throat as hooked him thumbs into his pocket. He rounded the corner and saw a girl, Jesus she's tiny... but she'll point me in the right direction, "Hey! Hey miss!" His southern twang clipped off the cement walls, "Excuse me, can I bug you for a moment? I need some direction's ma'am."
