Ash
tumblr_inline_p8ahmvM9wo1urfelz_540.gif

Her smile faded for a moment when Grace mentioned Ryan and Ash groaned. "But like, I don't know what he wants. He's probably just going to tell him how much he hates me again. Like, not that I blame him..." Ash hesitated, biting her lip a little bit as she looked down at the ground. "And, I mean, what if he like, decides to ask me to Homecoming? Like, I don't even know what I would say." Her many small conversations with Ryder about their feelings and the basic kind of maybe hypothetical promise of willingly being his girlfriend was something Ash hadn't shared with anyone, not even Grace.

She simply hadn't wanted to possibly be judged about it, or for that all to get out, too. After all, if it didn't work out and Ryder ditched her for another girl or something, Ash didn't want anyone knowing that she had had feelings. She wanted to just brush it off, act like it never happened, and try to recover. So yeah, Ryan asking her was one of the things she was worried about. "I'm just so worried that it'll just turn into a fight and then this week will be ruined, too."

Any of the sadness Ash was feeling was replaced by a bright smile again. "Anyway, enough about Ryan. What are you guys do for Homecoming? Like, what is it going to like? I need to know so that my dress doesn't, like, clash or something." Okay, so that was a total joke -- Ash already had a dress picked out, but she wanted some taste of what it was going to be.

Jace
tumblr_o4d6q5YaZG1sim304o2_250.gif

It felt as if Nova always surprised him when Jace was least expecting her to. So when she came up out of nowhere, calling him honey and then kissing him, well... Jace couldn't help but grin. God, he was so glad that they'd managed to repair things. Especially with Homecoming coming up, which he nervously remembered that he still needed to pick a good way to ask Nova. He'd asked Ash for advice, wondering if he needed to even plan a good proposal for a girl that he was already dating. Ash had shrugged, saying that she wouldn't care if she could keep a relationship, but said that Nova seemed like the kind of girl who would want a big thing. Which meant that Jace needed to plan carefully, and he was horrible at doing romantic things.

So he was almost in a constant state of panic trying to decide how he was going to do this. Ash had been no help with the whole good ideas thing -- actually, she'd refused to help Jace after the huge scene he made with Ryder in front of the whole school. But maybe Stu would be able to help him. The little dude seemed like he could be quite the Casanova, if he wanted to... maybe. Anyway, anyway, so when Nova came up, Jace had a million questions running through his head as he returned the kiss then smiled down at her. Could he just ask her simply? No, probably not... "Honey, huh? That's a new one."

He looked her up and down, his smile widening when he realized she was wearing his shirt. "So question, for Homecoming, are you just going to use like, one of my shirts as a dress?" It seemed like Nova was when his clothes more than she was in her own, so it seemed like a fair question, although it was joking, and then he found himself panicking, wondering if she would sass him about not asking her yet or something. So Jace leaned back against the table, crossing his arms over his chest and trying not to look panicked.

June
She flinched a little when she saw Raven show up and notice her sling. She smiled shyly as she looked at her arm. “Yeah, it feels very nice and free.” She said and placed a hand on her locker. “Follow you where?” She placed her books inside, closing her locker before she saw Mason come up to her. She immediately noticed that he looked pretty cleaned up and also, he was hiding something behind his back. She turned to him and found herself smiling at the rose itself. Of course, confused at first until she saw a poster behind him. Then she remembered homecoming and her heart fluttered in her chest as she looked at him. She listened to him with a smile still on her face, thinking random things instead of saying them out loud. Honestly the best first kiss I’ve ever had. Granted I don’t know if it’s the best if it’s the first. But why would he say it sucked?

Then she paused when he said he had a crush on her. He has a crush? On me? Homecoming and a date?! She would have been beyond happen still if it was over, but then he presented her with the other thing behind her back. A camera. It took June a second before grabbing it slowly and looking at it. It was a Canon without a doubt. But it was expensive. She remembered her crying about it to her mother and her mother saying she couldn’t afford another one. It was her one important gift. She didn’t realize she was crying until she wiped her eye with her sleeve and looked up at him. “Of course! Thank you so much!” Despite it being a little rough for her shoulder just being out of the sling she threw her arms around him in an embrace. It was wonderful and she knew it came from his heart. She smiled as she slowly let go of the hug and instantly remembered Raven’s request.

“Oh Raven what did you want to show me?” June said as clueless as can be.

Sawyer
This past month had been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and everything in between. On top of the play, basketball and everything else going on Grace was constantly on her thoughts. The thought of her being in that house with that woman made her skin crawl. When Grace had decided to tell her parents Sawyer had been committed to being the best support system she could possibly be, but it had been incredibly difficult. The only thing Sawyer had wanted to do the whole time was knock Kate a new one. With some amazing force of will Sawyer had resisted her more primal urges and simply sat there holding Grace's hand. In the end, she feared she hadn't been much help.

Sawyer's month had been filled with worry. So she'd ended up filling her time meticulously planning the most extra homecoming proposal she could afford. She'd had to wrangle with an incredibly rude park manager to let her clear out a section of the park for at least an hour. In the end he had only relented to 10 to 11 on a fucking Monday. So, she'd have to get there and set the whole thing up and then force Grace to come to the park so late at night. Great.

For the moment all she was worried about was getting through the school day. Sawyer pushed through the school doors and and shuffled down the hallway. She caught sight of a familiar face out of the corner of her eye and immediately changed her course to meet him.

"Ryan! Dude!" Sawyer jogged up to him and only slowed her pace once she was right next to him, "Looking good, man." She playfully shoved him in the shoulder with a laugh, "How's the leg working for ya?"

Raven
tumblr_oz6mukCDr71ua2js1o4_540.gif
Raven waited for a reply, watching her with a smile on her face. She was about to speak, when she caught eye of Mason walking up to them. Raising a brow, curious on why he'd made his way here. When he started talking, 'cute and complex?' Oh, my god. Stop. He was asking her to homecoming. She shook her head. Upset with herself she didn't do her plan earlier. She looked between the two when he mentioned he was her first kiss.

..Of course he was. As he continued it kept getting worse. As if it was even possible. When he brought out the camera, Raven deflated. It was obviously different than the polaroid she bought. But it looked like the one that broke. Again something that was her fault. She was the one who handed the camera to Georgia in the first place. If she could've afforded it.. She would've made it up to her.

Raven wasn't surprised when she said yes, watching as she hugged him tightly. She leaned off the locker. More than ready to leave, she wasn't interested in seeing them all.. close. June asked what she wanted earlier. She waved her off, putting a smile on her face. "Oh, it was.." She trailed off, looking between the two, caring less about Mason, and more about the smile on her face. "Nothin. Don't worry about it." Barely acknowledging Mason. "I'll uh- catch you later, MJ." She told her. Turning around and leaving. A little less her than when she came in the first place.

Walking into newspaper, Raven didn't hesitate to take down everything. Grabbing one of the chairs so she could reach the twinkling lights she'd put up. It's just homecoming. Not that big of a deal. She told herself. Taking off the photos from the pinboard, it was cheesy. She shouldn't of even tried. Who would've said yes to a few pictures of flowers that spelt out 'homecoming?' It was stupid, and cliche. It was just--"Fuck." She cursed getting a papercut from one of the photos. Throwing them in the trash beside one of the desks. Shaking her head, picking up the camera. Why care? Raven could go with anyone she wanted.

Almost anyone.

Sighing heavily, taking a seat as she messed with the camera, snapping a photo of the room in-front of her, taking the picture and shaking it off, watching it appear slowly. "Cool." She softly whispered to herself.

Nova
YtCo.gif
Well wasn't someone feeling frisky today. It was true that Nova consistently wore her boyfriend's clothes, not that she was fighting that or anything, but getting called out for it definitely made a blush lift to her cheeks. That same flush only deepened when Jace brought up her choice of pet name and my god, she felt like her face must've been on fire. Her blonde boy often had that effect on her, blasting Nova into these fits of lovey-dovey, ooey-gooey feelings which honestly was so bittersweet. On one hand, the brunette loved that the awkward man before her had such a hold on her, and on the other, it made he fear what would happen should he ever decide that Nova wasn't enough... but maybe now wasn't the time to think about that.

"Homecoming huh?" Nova almost purred as she said the words, lifting a brow and letting a dramatic sigh leave her lips. "Well I just don't know about that one Mr. West, I have yet to receive a formal invitation to the event." Was she going overboard? Yes. Was she being convincingly dramatic in hopes to get a hint out of Jace? Yes. Did she think it was going to work? No, absolutely not. But it was worth the try. School dances were something that Nova tended to steer clear of, mostly because she had never been asked. Dating older guys did that to her, but luckily, Jace was just young enough that he was still at least attending the same school.

Giving the blonde a playful wink, the petite girl sat down beside him on the table, grabbing his hand and slowly lacing their fingers together. Immediately a rush sifted through Nova's fingertips and up her arms, Jace's warmth overcoming her naturally cold appendages. The change was warm and welcome, and the brunette couldn't help but play her head on his shoulder and take a small breath. He was always so comfortable, it consistently baffled her.

"Speaking of formal invitations... I have to ask you something," Twisting her fingers around his, a small tremor waved through her body, goosebumps appearing over her arms and through the holes in her jeans. "We've been dating for about a month now and uh... my parent's they, well... they wanted me to ask if you would come over for dinner to meet them?"

Shiloh Mitchell~

With a new list of classes in hand and some gumption, Shiloh set off to find his first class of the day but was immediately and hopelessly lost. He had time to kill but he was notoriously bad with directions just like his daddy before him and most likely the sons that would follow one day. He huffed and puffed, a little stressed out, his rough skinned fingers slashed through his comb over as he wandered around. He was on a mission but was like a lost puppy with worried eyes, Shiloh hated being late.

“Alright, ask for help, don’t be a mans man and not know what you’re doing.” He mumbled softly to himself then just chose a random door, whoever was behind this random door would be his savior. Gently, he rapped his knuckles against the wood then entered the room. His brightly colored eyes took in the whole room, it was the school newspaper from the look of it, he had never known schools to have a newspaper. His school was so tiny back in Tennessee, there were only 50 seniors in his graduating clas back home, they could barely hold together marching band. “Excuse me..uh ma’am.” His southern draw was deep and raspy, almost comically southern as he spoke, “I uh... I apologize but I seem to be lost. Can you be so kind as to point me towards the art room?” He was so polite, just oozing with that southern hospitality as he gave the girl in the room a once over. Damn... I ain’t ever seen a girl like that...

Mason
tumblr_mt05tnpkhq1ro0u60o2_250.gif

Some relief rushed through Mason when she said yes and hugged him. Mason hated being let down, especially when it came to anything to do with girls or dating -- probably a big reason on why he didn't generally date, and chose to just have simple one night flings. So much easier to deal with, plus he was horrible at breaking it off with someone he no longer liked. Yeah, in general, Mason was a failure in relationships, but he was so happy that she had actually said yes.

With one arm still around June's shoulders, Mason looked towards Raven as she said not to worry about it. It was obvious from the way that Raven looked at June that she liked her, and he without a doubt knew that she'd set up some kind of girly way to ask her to Homecoming. Man, it was even better that he'd beat her here. "See ya later, Rivera. Can't wait to see who your date is." He said with a grin as Raven wasted no time taking off from the two of them.

He then looked down at June, noticing that the sling was missing. "So your shoulder is feeling better? Or, well, I guess at least there's no sling." God, he was glad that that thing was off of her. It had just been a constant sore reminder to everyone of what Georgia had done, and it had just made him angry and wish he'd slammed the bat into her face a couple more times.

Jace
tumblr_o4d6q5YaZG1sim304o2_250.gif

Ouch. Yeah, Jace shouldn't have made a joke about the dance, what with Nova just calling him out. "Ooh, I actually heard that someone was planning this big thing to ask you to Homecoming." Okay, okay, so he had nothing planned, but that didn't mean he couldn't say something like this just to make her think he had a good plan. Man, he needed to watch some more high school romance movies to get some good ideas. Too bad The Walking Dead didn't have anything. "So I guess that means I should probably come up with something good before someone else steals you from me." Right. Totally.

Jace's fingers laced with hers, and he ended up using his other hand to cover up the top of their hands. At first, he was scared that she would be asking him to Homecoming -- although that would make this whole thing so much easier -- and he both sighed in relief and in disappointment when instead, she just asked him to meet her parents. And then, the reality of what Nova had asked him set in, and Jace had a new horrible wave of terror wash over him.

"Uh, yeah, of course. I should definitely meet them. That would be... uh... awesome." Oh lord, was it easy to tell how much he was panicking? His hands felt sweaty, which wasn't great since they were holding Nova's, and Jace was trying to take deep breaths to keep himself calm. This would be fine, right? Dads didn't really threaten boys who dated their daughters, right? ... Right? Family introductions hadn't even been a thing he'd considered when they got together.

When Sawyer came over toRyan bumping into him. He lost a little bit of his balance. He wobbled for a second before reagaining his balance. "Yeah, don't do that, unless you wanna knock me on my ass." He said almost regretting adding the second part. He knew Sawyer was probably already working on tipping Ryan over. "Do it and Grace won't be able to come to the garage for any auto body work." He said threatening her.

"Hard to believe I've been gone a month. Maybe you should catch me up to speed on what has happened." He said as he started to half hobble, half walk to his locker. He had some supplies there that he was going to need for his classes. He just left all his school work there. "anything happen with grace?" He asked.

Raven shook her head at the thought of Mason and his teasing words. She didn't understand what June saw in him. His looks? Maybe, but he was just a face. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock. Turning towards the man that walked in, Raising a brow at his accent. "Art room?" She gestured to herself, "Why find the room when you could just look at the masterpiece?" Grinning, she tilted her head towards the door. "Down the hall to your left." She told him.

"Though, i'm not sure if i've seen you around before." It seemed like every other day another attractive person made their way into this school. Raven was intrigued, maybe it was just her luck. Although, lucky isn't something she'd call herself. "What's your name cowboy?" Taking the camera she was previously holding, and snapping a quick photo of him. "Sorry, pictures last longer." Apologizing for the flash.

Elizabeth

It was two months since Eli's grandmother had left the Great Cranberry Island for the hospital for the usual health check, leaving the girl once again to her own devices. She used this time to study and prepare herself mentally for the school coming up ahead. Chicka was loyal, sitting by her side every day she studied, happily panting and resting, even sometimes managing to get the girl to lift her up and onto her lap.

But now that she was ready, Eli left the dachshund in the house with some food and water, locked the house, and left, heading on over to the ferry that she utilizes every time she has to head to the mainland U.S
As she got off the ferry, she took her skateboard from her backpack and, after getting on it, rode on it to school, arriving in front of it's gates within 15 minutes. She put her transport back into her backpack, and, looking around, slowly entered into it's premises, looking for her locker.

"214.... the locker 214..." She repeated calmly in her head, brushing her fingers on the lockers she was passing by. On the locker 214 her gaze and fingers stopped, and she took her key out, opening the locker and placing her backpack inside. All the while, she kept on looking around herself. She did see off in the distance a small group of around 3-4 people, arguing about something, and one, appareantly a girl, hugging a guy, and there was also a poster next to her, announcing the homecoming event..

"Homecoming..." The girl whispered to herself, shutting the locker and turning around to lean on it, looking up at the ceiling. She was definetely going to pass this up, she knew no one here and unless a miracle happened and suddenly somebody asked her out, there was no way she'd make it in time... Her thoughts raced, and her heartbeat increased, but she then decided to just stop thinking about it, and head on over to her class... IT, it seemed. And so, without further ado, she headed off, looking slightly confused as to where to go, looking for anything to guide her.

Grace
tumblr_inline_p1oavsOGtq1rifr4k_540.gif

Grace nodded. "I'm sure it won't turn into a fight." She reassured her. Ryan seemed genuine, she didn't think he'd start something again. She felt for Ryan, hoping whatever was going on between the two they could work it out. Letting it go when she didn't want to talk about Ryan anymore. When Ash talked about the party, Grace wasn't all there. "Hmm?" It took her a second to process what she said, distracted by an alert on her phone. "If you want to know so bad.. you could always help?" She gave her a wide fake smile. Teasing her. "I'm still not one-hundred percent sure, i'll have to talk to Drake about it."

Grace was glad to know that her well..sexuality. Didn't change the fact that they were still close. "Hey, so." She started off. Unsure of how to say it. "I know we haven't really talked about it.." Grace looked towards her. "But i just wanted to say well.. Thanks." She said, bumping Ash's shoulder. "Y'know just for being you." Throwing a smile her way. Even though being at school, and home.. were tough to be around. It was nice to know she still had her best friend. Nothing changed between them, and that meant the world to her.

June frowned a little when Raven walked away. “Okay, see you later.” She waves a little, even though her back was turned. She sighed slightly and looked over at Mason again a smile returning to her face when he mentioned she didn’t have a sling on. “Yup! I mean, there’s still a bit of a bruise. But it’s doing okay for the sling to be off.” She said before looking down at the camera and happily raising it up to the locker to take the picture. When she looked at it on the little screen, she sighed happily. “I missed taking pictures like these. Thank you so much.” She was sure to be gentle with it as she held it. Yes, it wasn’t her fault it was broken the first time. But something about seeing the camera shatter before her, made her slowly turn it around.

“So uh...” She wanted to ask how he bought it. She knew him enough to know they both couldn’t pull money magically from the air. But, she didn’t want to ask him in the middle of the hall either. She didn’t want to say anything personal anywhere now. “I guess I need to find myself a good homecoming dress. What’s your favorite color? Also, I honestly don’t care where we go for a date. It only matters that we are both having fun.” She said nervously. God, she had never been to homecoming with a date. She was usually the one at her old school handing out waters. Now, she was going with someone and she was going on a date. And... They. Could. Kiss. She knew Mason probably didn’t care that much about kisses. But he might with her. It that made all the difference. “Also, the thing about the... uh, kiss? I thought it was amazing.” She said with a blush on her cheeks.

In the back of her mind however, she still thought about Raven. She hoped she could talk to her later.

Attention Citizens of Westbrook!! This is your emergency broadcast system.

A European grey wolf has escaped from Westbrook zoo and is reported last seen near Westbrook High School. For their own safety, everyone is advised to seek shelter immediately!

Oooooooooooooooowhoo!!! The lone wolf trotted up to the female human in the hallway, and hugged and clobbered her with its giant paws.

The boy in the Westbrook mascot costume took off his wolf head. ‘Hello hoo-man!’ he said, panting and wiping the dripping sweat off his brows. His blond hair was a tousled mess. Christ, it was like a sauna in the costume.

‘Did you know that awesomely cute wolves, like me—’ he pointed at himself, ‘are nearly extinct in the wild?? Oh no!’ He gasped. ‘How did that happen?! . . . Well I’ll tell you! Because horrible hoo-mans everywhere are destroying our forests and our homes, and we’re even being hunted for sport!!’

He then pointed proudly at the little ‘Gray Wolf Project’ pin on his mascot costume.

‘Thankfully, we at Westbrook are helping our favourite four-legged friends get their homes back. . . and you can help, too!’ Yes, you! He held out his little donations basket at the girl.

Jace couldn't hide his nerves for shit, and while the brunette knew he might've been anxious at the idea of meeting her parents, she didn't expect the instant reaction of moist palms and a furrowed brow. It almost seemed like he was going to have a heart attack, and no, Nova was not trained to handle something like that. The blonde's eyes looked like they were scrambling as he spoke, trying to find an answer even though he had already given one. Although, she couldn't blame him. Meeting a girl's parents was a tough thing, and Nova's parents were just like any others - protective. With a dad who is a big shot lawyer, and a mom who believes in inner peace or whatever, she feared that she couldn't even give that much advice to Jace, though she would try her best. More than anything, the hazel eyed girl just wanted him to relax.

"You're gonna be fine, they're gonna love you," A smile lifted Nova's cheeks as she placed her fingertips onto Jace's chin, lifting his gaze to be on her. It was true, her mom and dad would be ecstatic about their daughter bringing home a boy like Jace, and not one covered in tattoos, living in a frat house and riding a motorcycle. That life she used to lead almost seemed unreal now, as if she had never lived it at all. If only the scars and emotional distress could disappear like the names of those men had. Not like it mattered, right? Thoughts like that had no business, not here, not with her blonde beanie boy. "My dad used to play drums in a band in college, he sounded excited when I told them you were a musician. Besides, this means you'll be able to come over more instead of just when they happen to go out of town." It meant a lot to Nova for her boyfriend to be over, be around her dog and be around her life. It also meant a lot to have the older lad up in her bedroom, cuddling on the full size mattress that felt like a cloud while listening to him play guitar... her own little slice of heaven.

Another sigh fell as she noticed his nerves standing firm in the lines on Jace's face, a frown indenting her own skin. "Hey," The word was just a low murmur as Nova drew her face closer, giving his hand a squeeze, "Everything is gonna be fine, don't worry." Her little beanie boy, always worrying. And his worry was just cute enough to land him a soft kiss to his cheek.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth kept on walking, untill she heard.. rustling near her... she did not know what it was, but something about this seemed very odd... But whatever, she was not about to freak out because she heard some noises. No big deal...

Well that was her logic, untill she suddenly got hugged from the side by a... grey wolf mascot costume, which startled her enough to cause her to shriek, covering her head as she was being clubbered, but it quickly stopped.
Still in shock, she looked up at the figure, as it took off it's head. It turned out to be a boy. After getting over the shock of being assaulted by a wolf, the girl got herself calmed down enough to actually listen to what he was saying. After doing so, and taking a look at the badge, she actually smiled shyly at the boy, scolding herself that she got spooked like that. As he held out the little donations basket, she stared at it for a moment, before remembering that she did have some spare change lying around in her purse. Eli took out her dark green wallet, and after digging around in it, she found a two dollar bill, and put it in the basket, giving the wolf a shy smile as she did

"Here... and s-sorry about the shriek, I-i did not see you coming" She said, scratching the back of her head, kind of embarrassed.

"That's perfect. It would be so hard for you to dance at Homecoming with that sling on. And who else is going to take the most amazing pictures of this night?" Mason asked with a gentle smile. Well, this was certainly a change of pace from the girls that he usually took on dates... Okay, so that was a total lie. He totally had a thing for the shy girls, the ones that had never really dated before, for some horrible reason. June wasn't the first girl new to this dating thing that he'd taken out before, and she probably wouldn't be the last. But as they discussed Homecoming, his thoughts trailed to the previous years -- like last year, when he'd stolen Drake's girlfriend, Ellison, and took her. God, she had been absolutely amazing, and kind of reminded him of June.

"Uh, my favorite color is red. But like, don't pick your dress or anything based on what I like. Choose whatever you want to wear." Although it was sweet of her to ask. Did people match for Homecoming? Mason wasn't entirely sure -- he typically just showed up with his date, wearing whatever the heck he could find at home. Which right now, was a new dress shirt that he'd bought for dance reasons, while his old was handed down to Drake, even if it was a bit big.

She was glad when Grace dropped the whole Ryan thing. Yeah, Ash knew that she couldn't avoid him forever, but maybe just avoiding him until after Homecoming could be a good idea, or... gosh, maybe she should just get that awkward conversation out of the way. Whatever, future Ash could worry about what to do.

When Grace thanked her, Ash just looked confused for a moment before she realized what she'd meant. "Oh! Please, you're still you, and like, you and Sawyer are perfect together. I mean, that girl always scared me, but it's like you calmed her down a bit or something." Ash laughed. Okay, so maybe a lot of the reason Sawyer had scared her was because she'd never actually talked to her before the start of this year, when Sawyer and Grace started-- ... How had Ash never noticed this?

Right. Of course they'd love him -- what was there not to love? He didn't do drugs, he didn't have tattoos, he wasn't uh... he wasn't mean. However, Jace was a bit of a coward, he was horrible at being social, he'd already upset Nova twice in one month, and his grades were horrible. Oh no, this was going to go horribly, no matter what Nova said. When she mentioned her dad used to play the drums, he did relax a bit, although the drums were something Jace had never really liked. Yes, he could play a few simple beats on them, but nothing fancy. Still, it was some kind of common ground. Kind of.

However, being able to hangout at Nova's more did sound good. "That would be great. I'm sure Kelbi would love that." He laughed, thinking about the not-so-little fluffy pup. Yes, Jace had never been one for animals -- again, he had lost his rabbit in a week, whereas Ash still had her stupid ferret -- but there was something about the dog that made Jace rethink his dislike of animals. Or, not dislike, just his strong feelings of not really caring for them.

He blinked and rubbed his eye with his fist, blinking a few more times for good measure since the flash made him a little blind. I like this girl... His thoughts wiggled and coiled around like a snake, "I mean... No offense, you are one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen." He spoke softly and flashed a dazzling smile at her. "I'm Shiloh... Shiloh Mitchell." He had heard the directions she'd given him but was to enamored to move off, Shiloh could spare a few minutes to speak with her, maybe even more. "I hope I look good enough for you to keep me around then shoo me out the door." His grin was lopsided as he moved closer into the room, hooking his thumbs through the belt loops of his jeans.

Raven chuckled at the compliment. “No offense taken, i can assure you.” No offense? Raven had been called much worse before, so this was a nice change of pace. Eying his smile and throwing a grin his way, Giving him an acknowledging nod at his introduction. He certainly brightened up her mood, raising a brow as he walked closer into the room. She was set on brooding alone, but he didn’t seem to be terrible company.

Pulling up the photo that had already started to appear, she looked at it and back at him. “Hm, photogenic.” Narrowing her eyes playfully at Shiloh. “I won’t kick you out just yet.” Throwing the picture on the desk. “Raven Rivera.” She introduced herself.

“So, Shiloh. What brings you to westbrook?” As much as she enjoyed the accent, it was sad to say Raven didn’t hear much of it around here.

'You needn’t be scared, hoo-man. Fun fact: wolves are actually shy animals! We’re more likely to attack in packs, especially if our territory is being disturbed!’

The wolf smiled as he watched the two-dollar bill go into the basket. ‘For your ge-ne-ro-si-ty, good hoo-man, I shall reward you with. . .’ He stuck his hand into his furry back pocket, and pulled out a lollipop and placed it in the girl’s hand.

‘Now remember, wolves are friends, not foes,’ the wolf said, and did an awkward spin. Why? Who knows anymore. . .

The wolf was about to put his head back on, but he saw that the girl was really quite shy, and he said, ‘You’re new here, aren’t you? I’ve never seen you around, ever. That’s great! Welcome to Westbrook!’ He offered a paw shake. ‘Does hoo-man have a name?’

Grace couldn’t help but smile when she mentioned Sawyer. Shaking her head, laughing softly when Ash said she was scared of her. “Sure, sometimes she’s tough around other people. But she’s amazingly sweet when you get to know her.”

“I’m glad you think we’re good together. I really.. really like her.” Her cheeks flushed slightly at the thought of her. At least some people thought they were good together..

Changing the subject before Grace got flustered and started rambling on about Sawyer for way too long. Which she definitely could’ve. “Have you talked to Ryder since the whole..” she rolled her eyes, upset that she reminded herself of it. “Blog, thing.” She asked referring to the video.

“What’s going on with you two?”

Shiloh decided it was time to take a seat and conversate, who wouldn’t want to take some time out of the day to talk with a girl as pretty as her. “Well...” he seated himself directly across from her and leaned on the desk, propping his head up on his knuckles with a boyish grin on his lips. His skin was the same color of grain, sun kissed and rough with a smatter of stubble. “It wasn’t exactly pleasure but I think being around you could make it pleasurable.” His arctic blue eyes were clouded, Shiloh was smitten by her pretty face. “Mom moved the whole Mitchell clan up here since she got a good job... so we left our little family farm behind and here we are. Just me, moms, and the twins. Along with the dog and the horse, we’ve got a full house now.” Shiloh spoke softly and watched her, unable to take his eyes off her. Raven... What a name...

She was glad to hear that Grace was happy with Sawyer. If anyone deserved this kind of happiness, it was Grace. Obviously she'd never dated before, and Ash finally knew why -- she could stop trying to set guys up with Grace. Woops. Oh well.

At the mention of Ryder, Ash found herself groaning once again. "Yeah, we're good, I think. We've talked here and there, and like, we're not going to stop being friends over this, no matter what people think." Ash explained. All she really had was Grace and Ryder, and she couldn't imagine losing either of them over something so stupid.

"Which is part of the reason I'm scared to talk to Ryan. Like, what if he apologizes to me and wants to try the whole dating thing again? But I have to be like 'Look, I don't know, but if we do I'm still going to be friends with Ryder.'" Ash sighed. This entire thing was too difficult for her to decide. "Plus I don't want to, like, date Ryan if I have feelings for Ryder." Realizing what she said, Ash quickly tried to pull it back. "Not that, I mean, I do. Just you know if I did which I obviously don't."

Raven was enjoying all this praise. Setting the camera carefully to the side, watching him as he took a seat. “Mm. You won’t be disappointed. I make everything pleasurable.” She corrected. And stood quiet letting him speak. Putting her elbow on the desk, a hand underneath her chin holding her up. She listened intently, A true cowboy. She chuckled softly to herself.

“A big family sounds nice..” Raven said almost wistfully. Changing the subject, she decided to learn more about him.

“Besides bonding with the uh..clan. What do you do?” She asked. Raven waited a moment, deciding that she could clarify.

“For fun. I mean.” Crossing her arms, tilting her head to one side as if to study him. “Do you even do fun?”

Shiloh Mitchell~

“Well...” Shiloh slouched back in his chair and stretched his long legs out, rubbing his chin with the palm of his hand before running his fingers through his hair. “Well I was basically born in the saddle so I ride my horse a lot and I play with the dog. I do all those outdoorsy things cowboys like to do...” He shrugged his shoulders with a lazy roll, looked down at his hands then back at her, “I like going out for a dance and a drink to, maybe you’d like to come?” Shiloh cocked his head curiously at her, “My treat...” His lopsided grin came back, flashing like a thousand watt bulb. “Forgive me, when I see someone I like... I like moving fast.” He reaches out his hand to her, “You’ll enjoy it, I promise”

She smiled a little bigger when he mentioned how well she could dance. Then she remembered she can’t really dance. She could maybe do the dance they were learning for the play, but I don’t think school dances were something you could rehearse. “Right. I’ll take pictures and stuff like that. I haven’t used the timer on the camera yet so, it’ll be a perfect opportunity to.” She said glancing over at Mason then glancing away. He probably didn’t want to hear camera talk anyways.

“Red, huh?” It made sense why his favorite color was red. It represented him. Red was the color of anger, using the term ‘all you could see is red’ when someone is angry. But red, was also the color you use for hearts the color of love. “I’m more of a green fan, but I wanna see what I look like in a red dress. It’ll surely match my hair.” She flicked her hair a little with her wrist for emphasis. “But, uh, really. Thank you for this and thank you for helping me up until now.” Her hand unconsciously went up to brush at her scarred cheek before dropping again. “I don’t know what I did to deserve this.” She said and twirled the rose around in her fingers.
