Keilani's hands were joined together as she wandered out of the school. It was a nervous habit, her mother would say, always motioning towards how tense her fingers were as they curled around each other. Her ears were ringing loudly, the obnoxious noise of the fire drill blaring at the back of her mind. Loud noises gave her anxiety. Brushing the tip of her ponytail over her petite shoulder, she stood rigid, walking past a nervous group of underclassmen. Keilani simply wanted to be informed of the situation - to put the unease in the pit of her stomach at rest. Stopping behind a student she didn't quite know, but looked familiar, she tapped on her shoulder, almost unwilling to speak properly. "I'm sorry to bother you, but do you know what just happened?" she inquired to Skyler.

Nicholai poked Juliette in her stomach "what ya thinking about?" He knew exactly what he was thinking about. Her and keeping her happy no matter what.

Ryker sat up laughing. "it's always a party at my house". "I don't really know anyone here so, not really sure. I seen something about a dance at the end of the week" He shrugged .

Gale's bored of this. He walks off of campus and pulls out his phone, texting a simple smiley face to Brogan quickly before heading off to the underpass where his fourth piece of vandalism lives.

Just then the principal walked out and announces "There seems to be a shortage in the fire alarm, we are sorry for the disturbance, the school will be closed for the rest of the day! The local pizza shop is offering a free slice of pizza to students! If any more day's need to be delayed we will phone your home!. Have a good day!"

Juliette giggled when Nicholai poked her stomach and opened her mouth. She was about to answer when the principal walked out and announced that school would be closed for the rest of the day. Slowly getting up, she reached down and pulled him up. "I'm thinking about doing anything for the rest of the day."

Brogan smiled "That's awesome!". "Do you know what your having or are you having or are you wanting to be surprised?" She looked at Jessica and smiled "Hello". Then turned back to Chelsea.

"I don't know yet, but I'm going to be finding out next week. I'm hoping its a boy." She smiled. A few seconds later, the Principal announced that school was going to be closed for the rest of the day. "Hmmmm...Okay. Do you guys need to be anywhere? I can take you guys there before going home." Jessica offered, not wanting them to walk home or have to board the bus, not wanting to them to stand because of people not willing to sacrifice their seats, provided they take the Metro. Or the School bus, since the seats were very uncomfortable. And walking? She didn't even want to get started.

Nicholai smiled and got up as he held out a hand to help her up "let's go then my lady". He laughed watching everyone at once scurry out the field to their cars. "What are we going to do" He asked turning to Juliette.

"Anything is fine with me," Juliette said as she gently took his hand and kissed it. "Personally I could go for the beach," she said with a smile. "We've got nothing else to do and we can bring Liam with us," she said as she looked up at him.

Brogan smiled "That's what i'm having a little boy". She then shook her head declining the ride "I have group.. but I think that might be canceled now". She looked at her phone hoping Jeremy texted her..Nothing yet. "We can always all go meet at the pizza shop for a free piece of pizza?" "I'm waiting on a friend to text back, we have plans later". She shrugged

 

[Quiet Is Violent]

Gale walks about two miles into the city and jumps a fence, landing flat on his feet on the other side before heading down the steps. He travels through the dark pass until he reaches the exit, which is covered by a bush. He passes through the bush and arrives at his wall. It's not a large wall, and it's crumbling on one side, and it's not attached to a building anymore. The building caught fire and half collapsed years ago, and never was rebuilt. Now, it is the canvas for Gale's latest work.


Gale has his paints hidden under a pile of carefully stacked bricks, and he uncovers them. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, silver and gold. Any color he would need. So far, he's used every single color. He picks up the blue and the purple, shaking both. Then his phone goes off. No doubt it's Frank, calling to yell at him for not going home straight after school. Gale picks up. "Hello?"


"Gale, why'd I get a call from your parents saying-" Gale hung up on Frank then. He doesn't need to be lectured. Did he ever send that text to Brogan? He sends a quick 'hi' to Brogan and then puts away his phone. He's got work to do.

Brogan felt her phone go off.She read the text from gale smiling "Hey are you okay?" she texted back. She didn't know what was up with him but she was worried.

Nicholai shrugged "Yeah we could do that" He began walking to the car. staring off into space and lost in thought.

His phone rings again. Text tone. Brogan. He picks up his phone. 'Yeah. u?' then he goes back to painting the ripples in the flag.

Janick wonders whether the free pizza slice provision being announced also holds true for faculty as well. She knows that, however, making use of said provision would involve standing in line with hundreds of other students. "Perhaps some of you may want something other than pizza for a change... I know just where to find some good spicy noodles around here! However, we need to make sure that the free pizza can be redeemed at a later time"

Juliette smiled widely as she jumped up and down a bit before following him to the car. Glancing over at him, she frowned at the look on his face as se stopped at the car. "Whatcha thinking about?" She questioned as she looked up at him.

Ava smiles at Ryker's comment, "Well we should throw one. We have to make memories, it's highschool." She stops fidgeting with her fingers and looks over to Skylar and a girl that just walked up. "It's just a random fire alarm problem. No worried."

Nicholai sighed "Nothing important" He smiled and went to get in the car he looked over at her "do you think there is a way to tell early?" He sat in the car with the door open. He glanced over at her a bit hesitant. He didn't know why he kept bringing it up. He knew she was getting mad about it.

Ryker laughed at Ava "Well I guess we can do that". "I live in a trailer...so don't think people would go there for the party". He scratched the back of his neck "so find a place, we can make it happen".

After parting with Brogan and obtaining her Phone Number, Chelsea decided to go ahead and go home with Jessica. For a first day, Jessica didn't think it was so bad. Even though she had homework, Jessica decided to go ahead and spend some time with Chelsea since she hadn't seen her in so long, not to mention she wanted to bond with Chelsea's child. Bringing life into the world was a beautiful thing to Jessica. On the way to Chelsea's house, the girls stopped at a Grocery Store to pick up some snacks, with Jessica knowing that pregnant girls were almost always hungry and didn't want Chelsea to be cranky since the hormones were already as bad as it was. She also started wondering when she'd get to meet the baby daddy.

Lucia's stomach began to growl while waiting outside of the school for an announcement. When the principal disclosed that the pizza place would be giving discounts, her legs started moving before she even could; straight to the parking lot. She held up her keys and heard the beep as her car's doors unlocked, but stopped hearing a familiar voice chatting with someone else. Lucia's eyes averted from her buggy straight to Nicholai and Juliette having a conversation in an open car. Quickly her mind went from focusing on pizza to her ex of 2 years with his apparently new girlfriend. The thought he was with someone else sent shivers down her spine and maybe a prick of jealousy. Without thinking, she turned and walked their way. "Well hello Nicholai." She smiles flashing her white teeth and looks to Juliette, "Hey as well." She knew this wasn't a good idea considering the two don't get along anymore.

Ava nodded to Ryker and checked the date on her phone. "My parents actually went back to our home town for things we left behind. My house is pretty.. decent. We can do it there. I just need help getting everyone to come since I have no idea who anyone is except you and Skylar."
