Standing up, Juliette felt bad but decided not to say anything. She took his hand and began towards the door, stopping at Brogan crying on the shoulder of the guy from before. "Hey, I don't know who that girl was, but keep her away from Brogan. No one deserves to have those kinds of things being said to them. I don't know what's going on between all of you, but if it wasn't for him, I would have kicked her ass. "Just keep them away from each other. Please," she said softly placing a hand on brogan's shoulder and gently pulling her away before giving her a gentle hug. "Hey, it's okay. "Don't let her get to you, and don't worry about anything but your child. He's your number one priority right now," she whispered into her ear before pulling back and wiping her tears before taking Nicholai's hand and heading towards the cafeteria in silence.

Jumping slightly, Juliette looked down at the girl before glancing over at Brogan then back to the girl. "Maybe you shouldn't be trying to eavesdrop on people, and instead, just ask whatever you're curious about," she said with a sigh as she knelt down, helping the girl up. She hated being spied on and this girl seemed just like the type to do that.

"Well, that's not nice.." I say slowly. She had reached a raw spot. A spot that has been bothering her ever since that sunny day on the beach turned into such a bad day. "It's not my fault a shark decided to bite me when I was younger. It's not my fault that since I was bitten so hard, my leg doesn't work as well anymore." I say, biting back tears.


"Sorry I bothered you, but it's not my fault I was such a messed up child." My voice cracked at the end, I turn to leave. I needed to get out before the flashbacks started.

Juliette began to walk away with Nicholai when she heard the story. Freezing, she looked down and let out a sigh, her guiltiness hitting hard. Turning around, she jogged back over to the girl, stopping in front of her and without warning, she hugged her. "I'm sorry. I-I didn't know. My anger just got the best of me and I guess my hormones are all out of whack since I'm expecting," she said softly, pulling back and placing a hand on her flat stomach. "Please, can we just start over, I've already gotten into it once a little while ago and I don't want to go through it again. I really am sorry," she said softly.

"It's fine." I say, hugging her back. "When my mom was pregnant, she was call my clumsy, stupid, and dumb all because I couldn't walk straight. It was just the hormones, though, but it still hurt me so badly. Sometimes I just wished that day at the beach never happened. " As I say that, my phone rings. "Sorry to cut this short, but I need to get home! My mom just fell down and broke her ankle." I give her one last hug. "I'll see you later!"

"Good luck!" She called before walking back over to Nicholai. "I need to talk to brogan this afternoon," she told him with a small sigh. "I want to make sure she's okay," she explained as she headed over to get herself some food.
