Nicholai shook his head "Listen.. we have a lot going on right now.. give us a couple days and maybe then I will think about it" lie He pointed to her car "Will you please leave now?". He looked back at the door hoping Juliette was still out of site with Liam.

Brogan nodded. She could tell something was wrong and didn't want to push it just yet. She felt the baby start kicking. She smiled at gale "the baby is kicking do you want to fee?" She grabbed his hand and put it on her belly bringing them closer.

Lucia stood there for a few seconds knowing it wasn't going to happen. "I feel like you're not telling the truth, and I know it's probably not true. Are you guys getting ready to go somewhere?" She keeps talking hoping a miracle would happen. "Nevermind- Nevermind I'm sorry." She backs up and walks towards her car. Quickly she slips the key in the ignition and pulls off. Once she reaches her house, there was no house. It was burned to the ground, firemen and women were standing at the scene then all eyes were on her, but not in a good way.


"Ma'm is this your house?"


"Y-yes what happened!" She runs over to the porch only to be immediately stopped by two policemen.


"We understand this is difficult miss but you can't go past this point."


"No you don't understand have you contacted my parents?" Lucia was out of breath and exhausted from panicking.


"We believe that's who did this."


Lucia's heart dropped and now she knew what it felt like, true pain. "Myt parents? They're gone on business."

Nicholai turned around and walked inside to Juliette "Hey babe" ."Hey buddy". He smiled at Liam then looked up at Juliette "she is not going to give up....I think she is jealous of you" He sighed

"You just figured that out?" Juliette asked with a smile as she sat Liam carefully on the counter and tickled his sides. "Before we left the school, everytime she said she wanted to see Liam, she couldn't look you in the eyes. She was obviously lying. The whole reason she showed up is because she wants you and she's willing to use him to get what she wants," she said as she turned and looked up at him. "Go change and hurry up. I don't wanna be here in case she changes her mind and turns around," she said with a smile as se kissed him gently.

"Ma'm we found evidence. We believe they thought you were in the house."


Lucia started choking on her cries and covered her face. She forgot all about asking for evidence and worried about what to do next. Without a goodbye, she snuck off into her car avoiding having to answer questions. She found herself parked across from the park and staring at her phone. Tear drops swished over her screen until her sleeve demolished them. Finally she built up enough courage to call Nicholai.

Brogan laughed "Oh yeah a little, but it's nice". She looked around... "Can I tell you something...." She trusted him.
(I had a feeling if brogan told him the father is a teacher that gale would think he had more of a chance trying to ruin things?)

(Ehh... Gale wouldn't want to hurt her though... he would try to make her realize how wrong the relationship is though..)


"Anything." Gale smiles and removes his hand from her stomach. "I mean, if you're comfortable telling me."

Nicholai laughed "you don't wanna watch me change?" he winked laughing and ran upstairs to change. He came back down just in time to hear his phone ring "Hey Jul can you answer that?". He picked up Liam and started putting sun block on him.

Brogan sighed... "the umm... The father of Brantley is sort of a teacher..." She looked away. This was the first person she told the truth to.

Oh. OH. Gale drops his hands and looks at the ground. Oh. "You.... A teacher?" He stands up and paces a little. "Brantley... is a teacher's kid?"

Juliette rolled her eyes and watched as he ran upstairs before she continued tickling Liam. When Nic returned, his phone began ringing. She smiled as she picked up his phone, just barely able to tell who was calling. "Jesus Christ..." She miles before answering it. "What do you want?" She snapped into the phone though she kept her voice low.

Brogan looked up at him "he wasn't a teacher at the time.. he was a college student.. then when I cam to school one day I saw him there and found out he was my teacher". she sighed looking at him.

Juliette stared at the phone and was about to sit it down when it rang again. This time, she only let it ring once before she answered it again. "What do you want Lucia?" She asked again through clenched teeth.

"My house burned down and I need to talk to Nicholai, or could you possibly allow me to come over? Outside not inside." Tears streamed down her face and snot ran out her nose, though she stopped it. "Please?" She sniffed back making a loud noise through the phone and began to choke.

"You really think he's going to let you come over? The nerve of some people," she snarled as she turned to Nicholai, covering the phone. "Hey, it's her. Apparently her house burned down and she wants to come here," she said with clenched teeth, trying no to yell in anger.

Nicholai rolled his eyes "She is going to anyway if I say yes or no.. tell her she is not seeing Liam". "why does she want to come here anyway...shouldn't she be finding a place to live". Liam yelled daddy really loud and he knew Lucia heard it. He shook his head "it's up to you Juliette"

Juliette clenched her jaw and looked over at Liam. "If I say he's, I'll have to practically move in myself. I don't trust her around you or Liam. Besides if she stays here, the chances of her seeing him are huge," she said with a sigh as she looked back at the phone. "Nic, are you sure about this? If you say no and she does anyway, we can always get a restraining order."

Nicholai nodded "She ain't living here" "Tell her she can come over I guess". He sighed.

Juliette hesitated as she sighed. So much for the beach. Putting the phone back up to her ear, she clenched her teeth. "You're not seeing Liam and if you make one move on Nicholai, I will hurt you," she said before hanging up the phone angrily. Why did that bitch have to ruin everything? Without another word, she put everything back up before walking out of the kitchen and upstairs to his room, trying hard not to slam the door.

Lucia's eyes went wide when she heard Liam's voice. She rubbed the bridge of her nose again and awaited a reply from Juliette who apparently had the decision. Finally she said yes and started her car back up. Once she got there, she knocked on the door quietly and stood waiting for someone to answer. Lucia knew they were both fed up with her actions and she liked it that way. One more step to getting closer to Liam.

Nicholai ran up stairs after Juliette he walked into his room "i'm sorry, It's time for Liams nap anyway, we will still go". "Lay him down and meet me down staris" .He grabed her by her waist and pulled her close "thank you for being his mom.... I Love you... He sighed I always have..from day one". He kissed her and walked over to his closet. He pulled out a card. The same card she gave him when Liam was born and inside was the picture taken that day of Liam and his fish.. the fish that Juliette forgot she gave to him. Nicholai handed it to her "You gave him his fish..." He smiled and rand down stairs before pulling the door open "Hello again" he huffed "what would you like this time?"

Juliette turned around quickly when she heard Nicholai walk in behind her, and she nodded when he told her they would go. She agreed to meet him downstairs, but gasped softly when he told her he loved her. Staring at him in disbelief, she watched as he retrieved the card and looked down at it, finally remembering that she had given him his favorite toy. Taking Liam from him, she gently kissed the boy's head and handed him that very fish before laying him in his crib, seeing him yawn and curl up with the toy. "Goodnight sweetheart," she said softly before turning and heading downstairs with her hands behind her back to keep herself from getting physical. Without a word to Lucia, she walked up to Nicholai and kissed his cheek before wrapping an arm protectively around his waist.
