Fantasy Welcome to the Pantheon (Reboot - Always Accepting!)

he heard the nurse ask him something but he kept hearing the name "shut up" he mumbled "shut up" he said louder "shut the hell up!" he screamed and his body let off a massive shock wave of electricity "shut up" he was crying  he let out another shock wave of electricity. "Can't think straight, t-to many voices" now the voice was louder and multiplying in his head. little did he know it was the voice of Kanin echoing through his head trying to wake him up from the dream world.

@xpstitch

"Will" he said jumping out of the bed and running over to him "stand back please don't kill me for this Thor" he raised his hands in the air and made a circle motion, his hands were filled with electricity and he slammed it over wills heart trying to jump start it. when it didn't work he tried again but making the voltage stronger while trying to ignore the searing pain in his head

Nothing was doing it. Honduras. A beautiful place, is he to be reincarnated THERE? Sure he'd be poor and starving, always in fear for his life and what not. But it's pretty there. The people there are nice. The culture is rich. The music is beautiful. Hondurans were hot too. He could already feel his spirit being put into an unborn baby's body. He was being pulled in closer to the place of his next birth.

Amanda stood outside the school, leaning against a lamp-post. Calcifer hovered in front of her.

I think it's going to rain. Calcifer messaged worriedly.

Hide under my jacket, then.

What if he senses me?

I'll try to block it. I messaged Mbuku and she gave me a hiding spell.

There was an unsure whine, but Calcifer flew into the inside pocket of her jacket and dimmed his light as far as he could.

"Yild namaghik, yild na'astich, nof ra'agu vadaskuo.", she whispered softly. There was a slight whoosh as Calcifer faded away from sight, both natural and magical.

She looked towards the school's front door. When was Jamie coming?

"no please" Loki was still crying "Don't you dare leave me" he slammed his fist onto Will's chest sending a shock wave of lightning through the room "Don't you dare Liberty" Loki remembered everything "it's just a dream, its just a dream this isn't real" he continued to cry " WAKE THE HELL UP!" he slammed his fist down again.

@Delacare

Jamie burst out of the school doors with his minions in tow.

"Sorry Mandy. We got held up in class. Ptolemy got on his soapbox again." Jamie ran up to her and squeezed her in a hug. The minions kept a respectful distance from the two.

Amanda may not have been aware of it, but at least one of the Minions was in everyone of Jamie's class and all four boys had the same Algebra class.

((He's gonna lose what little peace he has left if Akuma doesn't straighten up and fly right.))

"Yes, you will!"

Gaël licked off into a forward handspring coiling the whip in midair, before snapping his arm straight and launching the tail in a piercing spear like thrust.

Akuma parried the end, holding his scythe up to Gaël's throat.

"No, I won't. >:3"

He then leapt backward and stood still, scythe at the ready.

"It's alright. I remember how he can be.", she said and hugged back. Amanda had only had Ptolemy until last year. Now she had Mr. Hemsworth, the dreamiest teacher in school. She had never complained. She let go of Jamie.

"Come on now, chimp. We'll have to get to the Tube quickly. If we get stuck during rush hours we'll never get anywhere. By the way, does your dad know you're going?"

Gaël's flashed ominously.

"Who said I would hive you the choice?"

He turned to the left by a quarter and performed the same thrust attack then snapped his wrist to the right a the last minute, sending a ripple down the whip that grew as it traveled. The tail of the whip snapped loudly as it curved in air, around the ripple, and shot towards Akuma from the side.

"I'm not a chimp." He pouted cutely.

"Da knows I'm going to be with you. He probably wouldn't notice if I was home or not anyway. I left him a pot of coffee before school, he's all set. Let's  go." He grabbed her hand and started running. The minions followed.

"Hey!" She giggled and started running as well, her longer legs gaining ground much faster than Jamie's could. Soon she was the one pulling. Mentally she went through their travel route. First they were off to Tufnell, then a ride through the Underground to Bank and then just a quick walk to the Tower. All in all about 45 minutes and if they ran like this then...Ah, there's Tufnell.

"No fair! Your legs are longer than mine. Try to keep up guys." Jamie's grin was wide and bright.

Ethan and Co. were right behind them. They looked somewhat terrified at the thought of getting separated from Jeremy, prematurely.

Akuma grabbed the whip. Painful, but not unbearably so.

"Who said I'd let you boss me around?"

He yanked on the whip, bringing Gaël closer.

@Delacare

"I did." He dug in his heels and resisted increasing the tension on the whip dangerously.

"Only when it's your mess to clean!"

He sprung off the ground, using Akuma's one pull, and rocketed towards  to god in a series of midair flips that spun the free lengths of his whip around him in a deadly wheel.

She slowed down and rested on the escalator. Ethan's gang looked as winded as she felt. They quickly passed the barriers and waited a few minutes for the train. Once it arrived they managed to find four free seats and after a quick discussion Amanda, Jamie, Mark and Ethan were seated. Looking out the window at the tunnel walls and the passing stations, Amanda felt...at peace. Strangely at peace. Freakishly peaceful. She'd panic if she weren't so calm. Amanda slowly fell asleep.

She was standing in a field of waves. Light spread from every corner and there was the distant sound of trains. It was a strange feeling, standing in the air, feeling the waves licking her feet. This was a dream. She had never had a lucid dream before, but this must be one. She flew over the ocean, looking for islands or rocks. There was no sign of life, no sign of birds, fish, or even algae. She landed and the water only reached her ankles. She flew on, until she saw a great ruin under the water.

It stretched up so the top of the highest spire broke the surface. It was like it was covered by glass. A living fire stood on it. A living fire that was a man. No...a god. Ilim.

"Hello again, Amanda.", he said amiably.

"Y-you?", she stuttered. "I thought I told you my name was..."

"Maddie? You can't fool a god like that. It was clever at the time. It would have worked on anyone else."

"I-I don't understand. Why are you here? What do you want?"

"I wanted to meet you. You are different, I think that's why I noticed you. I had one of my angels look into you. You know, what they found?"

She shook her head.

"What can you tell me about your family?"

"Well, my mother Amy works as a pharmacist. She's lived in London all her life. My father Roland is a tour guide at a museum. He's French, he moved here a few months after I was born."

"Is Amy your real mother?"

The landscape changed, storm clouds filled the empty skies.

"I don't see what that has to do with anything. In fact, I don't understand why you need to ask this if you've already know so much about me!"

Ilim was quiet for a moment.

"It matters because of your blood. You see, Amanda, you are special because unlike other people you're not part god, you're part human. Your grandfather was a god, and so was your mother. Ichor flows in the majority.

The sea went silent still. The clouds froze. The trains howled on, filling the air with a sense of urgency.

"What does that mean?", she asked finally.

"It means you have the potential to become one of the greatest magicians in the world. This is why I have returned, to ask of you a favour. Your friend, Jamie, has been dealing with forces best left alone. It has unlocked his magic, the means to change the world that you have acquired through your own hard work and perseverance he has gotten as a gift, without asking. I simply ask that you watch him. Observe, see what he does, listen to what he says, and report anything out of the ordinary."

"What? Are you asking me to spy on my best friend? The hell I will. He's like a little brother to me. I don't care what you've done for me, I will not do your dirty work for you."

The clouds were back, lightning streaked the sky. The train was forgotten. Ilim laughed.

"Oh, and here comes the infamous free will of the humans to bite me in the back. I will not force you to do anything, Amanda. I simply encourage you to be on your guard, Nox might find it in herself to strike out against you and there is no telling if Jamie will have the same loyalty towards you. I will give you a phrase: 'Ilim Tir, ru'ud nupim ko mokud lit pleyim.' Say this, and I will come for your aid."

"Rest assured, you'll never hear those words from me."

"Perhaps not, but now you know them. Until the next, Amanda. For we will meet again."

"I can hardly wait."

She woke up with a start and looked around. They were at Bank already, it was time to go.

"See where the path of evil has led you? Turn away my love. Change your ways" a voice said in Lyker's head. Beep Beep beep beep Beeeeeeeeeeep. Silence. silence on the monitor.

No pulse. Heartbeat that had once gone wild for Lyker completely nonexistent. Brain activity that had once been filled with dreams of the future, no electrical movement. Hands that had once held Lyker's in romance, slowly turning cold and white as the winter, all of the beautiful carmel color melanin leaving his skin. The melanin. A gift from his Native American ancestors. From the blood of his people, turned to look like that of a white man, there was no greater shame. He had been so proud of his beautiful carmel color skin. No breath. Lyker had killed him. William was dead. And it had been Lyker's hand.

Wings of darkness sprouted from Akuma's back. He began flying backwards, stretching the whip back into a straight shape.

"Are-are you ok, Mandy?" Jamie reached out and grasped her arm lightly. Worry was written across his face.

Wings of darkness sprouted from Akuma's back. He began flying backwards, stretching the whip back into a straight shape.

@Delacare

Gaël continued through the air, releasing the whip as it crumbled into nothing.  He pulled a new whip from his shadow as he landed and rolled across the floor. He spun on his hands and lashed the whip in a wider horizontal arc towards Akuma's midsection.

"Are-are you ok, Mandy?" Jamie reached out and grasped her arm lightly. Worry was written across his face.

"I'm fine. I just had a really weird dream." About a god who didn't know about privacy and who wanted her to spy for him. That would just sound stupid said outright. "This is our stop. Let's go."

"O-ok. Come on guys." Jamie didn't look convinced, but he didn't want to be pushy.

Makr and Ethan rolled their eyes and stood up to leave. Amanda's potential mental breakdown wasn't their problem unless it put Jamie in danger.

"no" he said quietly "t-this can't be happening" the shock from loosing William caused Lyker to wake from the dream world, he jumped from his place on the ground throwing Kanin across the room in the process. he took to steps and flashed out of the room and into the room William was still sleeping. he ran over to his body "Will wake up....Please "he kissed the mans forehead tears falling down his face.
