Fantasy Welcome to the Pantheon (Reboot - Always Accepting!)

Themis immediately noticed a presence, without opening her eyes she knew who it was. She winced a little at the action of opening her eyes.

"Yeah, just a uh-long day.. by the looks and smell of it, you had a rather interesting day yourself." She spoke softly, but stern.

"Hey, do you need somewhere to stay, Themis? You look like you just got finished drinking a tavern dry."

"Hardly, I actually am just behind on some uh-work.. I think I can make it to my room. I am quite competent, but thanks" She gave an eyebrow raise and tried to walk.

"Are you sure? I kinda owe you for giving me the whole Ragnarok prophecy. And, my room is only a couple doors down." Tyr said, walking after her.

"uhh-su-"-- she was cut off by the severe degree of wooziness. She was immediately hit with a vision, one she could tell was of great importance. She was appalled by the scene laid out before her. The entire world enflamed and a bloody massacre of Gods pilled before her. She let out a gasp, and then nothing... her world slowly shifted to black as her knees buckled.

Before she could fall, Tyr caught her in his arms. He sighed, thinking that she probably had drank a tavern, and was just lying to preserve her self image. He hefted her up fully into his arms, and began to walk to her to his room.

Amanda was in school. In many ways it was comforting to know that despite how her world had been turned upside-down and shook for its lunch money she still had normal obligations. Calcifer was off looking into a place they had heard was a gathering place for mages. It was empty, so he was mostly looking for books.

After having gained her first Phrase Mbuku was very insistent that Amanda learned her own Words. It was part of the training. This either meant meditation or finding a dictionary. She had chosen the dictionary, because meditation had taken far longer than she had liked. Right now, it was lunch. This meant catching up with Jamie and being suspicious of Ethan and his gang. She took a plate, scooped some shepherd's pie onto it and then sat down in front of Jamie. The ex-bullies looked strangely at her and Ethan twitched. She ignored them.

"Hi Jamie. How's your morning been?", she said merrily.

(Hey, let's catch up with the kids.)

((Sure, why not?))

Jamie looked up room his lunch with a vacant look.

"Hm? Oh, hey Mandy." He sounded happy to see her, but he put very little enthusiasm into his words.

Amanda's smile wavered.

"Well, for my part it's been horrible. The class talked so much Mr. Hemsworth sent us all out."

(Ethan is leader of the gang who used to bully Jamie.)

Jamie saw Amanda's smile fall somewhat. He came a bit more alive, to keep her cheerful.

"That's not so bad. Mrs. Higglebim was cleaning out her desk and found her photo album. We spent the entire class looking at photos of all her dead pets. She even had pictures of how they all died." He shivered at the thought.

Seeing that Jamie had finished his fruit cup but hadn't touched his celery, Alder reached out and swapped his own fruit cup for Jamie's celery. He smiled at Jamie slightly before looking back down at his plate.

"Thanks Alder." Jamie didn't even bat an eyelash as this was a regular occurrence.

Nox chuckled softly.

"Three boys in a nearby city. I will open a portal. Their names are Marvin Student, Alder Lardell, and Zach Triller. You are to terrify them using nightmares and shadow monsters and make my Chosen, Jamie, seem like their only salvation. The are to remain mortal human beings, and you can only give them injuries that can be healed in under 6 months. Nothing to psychologically scarring; they need to be able to operate in normal society."
((They already had names))

"Oh yuck! Okay, you win. You had the worst morning." She glanced at Alder. He glared back. Whatever magic Jamie had used to make them like this had only gone over to her partially. While they almost seemed to fear Jamie they only put up with her.

(Oh look at that. Proof that I don't have perfect memory. Though really, how much do you want to bet a guy named Marvin Student would much rather be called Ethan Trangle.)

Character exposition flashback:

June 28th, 1969 Manhattan New York.

Greenwich Village, The Stonewall Inn. Even William could not remember the exact stuff that happened. So much stuff happened. It was so chaotic that it's hard to remember. Police show up. Crossdressers and other similar groups of people were being ordered to show identification. Many refused. Some people were practically molested by police to ascertain what their sex was. William was not visible at the moment. But he was there. They arrested some successfully and put them in a wagon. Some had resisted arrest but even with the help of William's powers, they were still arrested. His powers weren't strong enough yet. He was trying so hard to channel his powers to help the people resist. He needed more time and energy for his magic to take affect. Some people began making fun of police. This jeering was giving William more power. William concentrated his powers on channeling the anger and helplessness of a woman complaining thatbher hancuffs were too tight. She was then hit over the head with a night stick for simply complaining. William was angered. "Aren't you going to do something?!" She called out to the bystanders watching. Her anger was infused with the angry powers of William and her voice sent shockwaves of rebellious inspiration throughout the crowd. He concentrated his channeled powers and it was being realized too late that there were more people angry than was good for the police. Absolute mayhem ensued as the angry bystanders became a rioting force.

((I kno for a fact that he'd rather be called Ethan, but this isnt a perfect world.))

"Actually the first half was quite interesting; it wasn't until she started showing the before and after pictures that it went downhill." He chuckled at the memory of the unified screams of terror from every child in the class; he had never gotten along so well with anyone in there before.

"Do you want to hang out after school today?"

((I have no idea how to come in, so we are just gonna yolo this and see how it works out...))

The day was nice, so far all was calm... Until a great swirling portal opened up next to Olympus and the terrifying celestial skeleton demon happily floated on through. She looked up at the massive complex, and nodded, lightly speaking to herself, "hmm... this looks good..." With a wave of her hand, the portal shut. Tzitzimitl, at a normal walking speed, slowly hovered over the ascending walkway, climbing to the nearest building.

Just before dawn Themis woke up with limited memories of how she may have gotten there and was sort of foggy on how her day had even gone. She could only remember the prophecied scene that still seemed so vivid when she thought back to it. She turned slightly alarmed that there was a shirtless man next to her in bed. Tyr, a war God, undoubtedly a handsome guy. It had been many moons since she woke up next to someone with barely any knowledge of how she'd gotten there. She knew there was important work to be done, probably her destiny, but she decided to just enjoy the last couple of hours of calm. She sleepily snuggled up to the man, her blonde hair falling around her face.

For just a split second she thought about how easy it would be to just lay right there for eternity, and just let the world burn.
Daimon had no idea what just happened. Who was that, what was that, and what the hell?! He noticed HAL wasnt moving anymore, he growled and walked forward and nudged the helm of the small frame. "Hmm..."
The woman looked over at where Daimon nudged the form. "If Hitch asks what happened, Just tell him that I created a better system from his useless first attempt. I also designed a better cyborg, and Updated the HAL system. He will most likely be sad about it. Tell him the non-reliance glitch was sorted out, and that concrete concepts are now naturalised at a far greater speed and reliability. that should make him happy again. It only took removing all of that unneeded affection clauses. If he still cries murder and he want's to kill you for letting this happen, tell him that it was me entirely, and that you could not have stopped me even if you had tried. Oh, and if you are feeling any remorse for that...(she sneered at HAL's quiet form) it was a toy. a piece of nothing, wires pretending to be something it was not by the insistence of an owner who wanted it to be more. We are tools, and we can't pretend otherwise. Mourning us is irrational. You might as well mourn the cell phone you throw away every two years..." She Turned to the portal and stepped through. There was an electric sound, before the clearing was quiet again.

Back on Olympus, as Ilim walked away from Hitch, a creature walked up behind him. "Master Hitch. I Have returned to you in this time. The primary system has been updated as needed to assume full compliance and increased defensiv-" Hitch flew around, his eyes wide... "Shut up! - Initiate recover - subject HAL 1.0. NOW! Timeframe reset 12 hour framework!" HAL 2.0 stood there for a moment before replying "Access denied. System override takes precedent." Hitch stepped back... what the hell? "Manual Override - Administrator Privilege Hitch Magnusson ID.17834422!" "Access denied." "BULLSHIT! (Hitch's voice trembled slightly) Initiate Reset, Turing Protocol - Set administrator Hitch Magnusson ID.17834422!" Hitch walked over to the robot. His hands were trembling as he placed them on the head of the creature. "Override successful. Instructions?" "Reset to previous firmware - subject HAL 1.0." Hitch held his breath as he waiting for the system to reset. "Failed. System Update reversal impossible. Non-compatible Hardware restrictions." Hitches hands fell to his sides, looking at the thing in front of him. They started shaking. "Where is Daimon?" there was a slight tremor in his voice.

((Hope its ok))

Nox was sitting on the edge of a building, head turned towards as she contemplated the universe, when the portal popped open. As the skeletal deing approached, she turned her and smiled.

"Well hello there." She pushed off the edge of the building, and floated to the skeleton's height, a few feet in front of her.

"Who might you be?"

She froze and her eyes grew wide.

"WHAT!", she shouted, earning the attention of everyone in the canteen. "I thought I...saw something. Sorry, I just..." She quieted and started shoveling down her shepherd's pie. Meanwhile, her mindlink to Calcifer burnt.

What do you mean dead?

Just what I said, I went into a room and there were all these corpses in chairs. A book on a podium talked about some Order of the Primal End. I don't like it, it's an oxymoron. I don't think I want to be here anymore.

Dead, corpses, death, darkness, FOCUS. Did you find any books?

A few. There were no dictionaries. I think the place has been cleaned out. It's creepy, can I leave?

Yeah, we'll have to try something else. Maybe I'll go with you.

That'd be nice, but you have to be careful.

Of course I will be, we'll go tomorrow.

"Sorry about that, Jamie. Now, what do you want to do?" She smiled unconvincingly.

((Ech, maybe he's got Ethan as a middle name and everyone who knows him (everyone he can enforce it on) calls him that.))

Daimon growled. He pounced, but before his claws could catch anything she was gone. "What in the hell?!" He snarled. He looked at HAL and approached him. He just lay there, he didnt understand technology, so he figured she had killed him. "Didnt even give him a chance" He snarled, referring to what the woman-thing said about HAL not being able to change. "He was important to somebody, where'd that fucking bitch go?!" Sure, he hadnt known HAL for too long, therefore he wasnt that attached to him but he knew Hitch was. And he knew what it was like to lose something really important. He stood on his hind legs and picked HAL up and started walking. He had to find Hitch.

(You wont be laying there for that long, hehe)

Vayne had been wherever Vayne had been, probably just walking around or something. She had wondered what Tyr was doing, maybe they can spar or something! She opened the door to Tyr's room, being his partner she could go in and out as she pleased. She would have done it anyway even if she wasnt with him, she did what she wanted. She looked around, wondering if he was still out. Then she noticed Tyr in the bed, but he wasnt alone. Now, Vayne could have been hurt and whatever and do some stupid running out of the room like an absolute BITCH, but no. Oh hell no. She instead got to the level above pissed, uber-fucking-pissed. She walked over to the bed, having the right mind to summon her ring blade to cause some serious damage, but instead she dragged the new girl out of the bed roughly by her throat and pinned her to the ground. "Who in the hell are ya?! Whatcha think yer doin in that bed?!" She had one hand wrapped around the girl's neck and the other pulled back and ready to break her nose.
