Ilim flinched at the whiplashes from the tail and put Maw down on the floor.
Maw whined when he was put on the floor. Little did most people know, Maw was rather dangerous. That is IF he acquires a divine soul. And little Maw could hurt nobody in his cute little form and his mindset was that of an average dog. But if he got that soul, he would be altered in every way possible.

But he was the cute little pet everyone loved!

"It's the 1276th anniversary of my marriage to a mortal woman named Munashe. I thought I'd celebrate by getting sloshed."
"Ah...(Hitch Put down his drink, and folded his hands in front of his face) I won't pretend to understand, but I do know how these interactions are want to go... I do not appreciate many things in life. Most things bore me. I will say this then, in the hope that you find some comfort in it. On the prospect of forever, one can only ever experience the temporary. All things die, all hearts are broken. It remains with us to not only mourn their passing, but also celebrate that they ever were. Better to have loved and lost... than to never have loved at all. Especially for us." Hitch looked over at Ilim, before picking up his drink again and downing it, knocking the bar for another.

"Hahaah! Is that Lord Tennyson you're quoting? That's true for mortals, you die all the time and the first humans either learnt to move on quickly or risked being eaten while mourning. Us gods are less prepared for it. Our mourning can last millennia." He swept another glass and refilled it.

Maw was rather hungry, but he didnt want to be alone again so she stayed with the two men. He started chewing on Ilim's chair, the leg of it anyway. Maw was almost always hungry, and he could eat basically anything he wanted.

Ilim ordered a live chicken to save his chair and tossed it down to Maw.

He stepped down the hallway , leaving no noise with his footsteps.

He opened a door slightly to see...(Blank)

"We who are tasked with tending to the mortals, who build and destroy nations for this... phenomenon. Is it wise then to not partake? even just to understand? How can we sympathize with a pain we have not felt? Yes, I might not have felt romance in a traditional sense, but even I know that it is someone I might want to explore... one day." Hitch began sipping on his drink, his mind running over what they are talking about.

Maw watched the chcken before pouncing. His arms were a bit too small to keep hold of it, so his big jaws crunched into the body to hold it still instead. With the animal in his jaws he crushed it like it was not made of bones but paper. Acid helped. His tail swung side to side furiously.

Nacht stood there, eyes blazing with irritation. "What are you doing straying off like that?! And put that knife away, no killing!" She snapped.

He nodded, keeping the same smile. The hat covered the eyes.

"You are definitely on the right track. I learned a lot about humans from Munashe and on her death bed she told me she had a final lesson for me. It took me a few centuries to figure out what she meant. I thought she just didn't have time for it before she died. It's not her I'm mourning, not entirely. I had a family too, you know. Three lovely little children. They lived longer than most humans. The godblood in them, you know. And they spent that time in their own ways, oh yes. My eldest, Mosi, wandered the world as a wise sage, giving advice and helping out where he could. My middle, Dalitso, spent most of her time amplifying and meditating on her magic. And my youngest, Chinonso, gave me 341 grandchildren to cherish." He swept another glass. "It is them I mourn."

Hitch's eyes widened - "I, I am not sure I understand... their loss, was it through time or malice? It seems that you are inferring that your line has ended, and with such a number of decedents, the odds of them all dying without producing some offspring... its astronomical! To the point where their absence must be... unnatural?" Hitch got off his chair and walked over, a rare look of concern spreading over his face.

Ilim let out a belly-laugh. "You misunderstand, Hitch. It is my direct offspring I mourn, not their own. Why, you've met one of them. Mbuku is my great-great-granddaughter." Another glass swept and refilled.

Maw was rolling round, tossing his food which every way. He tossed it at Hitch, and instead of jumping up and catching the chicken he missed and jumped up to bite his shoulder. And boy did he bite hard!

"Much better, thank you." Akuma lied. He instinctively leaned back, his chair began teetering on it's back legs.
@Delacare
"You don't seem to be improving, dear. Maybe I should give you a checkup. Gaël, bring my doctor's bag."

((SEXUAL MUTILATION IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE))

"NO! I mean, no, it's fine. I'm just a little giddy from the... oxygen. The air's thin in the spirit world."

@Delacare

"Good. Now, if you would control yourself I would like to get on to the nightmares" She said. "Agree?"

@Delacare
((She just wanted her stethoscope and other observatory implements. She didnt want to examine you with darkness and make you feel uncomfortable. Calm down. ))

"Very well, then. If you do not improve soon, however, I will be examining you. Gaël nevermind." She sat back and sipped her wine.

"So, what is the spirit world like nowadays?"

Nacht sighed and wondered where they would be next. So far the people sleeping now are having dreams, and not many people were dreaming blankly. She decided to follow him, "Where do you wanna go/"

Python Levi

Levi woke up and immediately looked outside the window to estimate the time. It was still daytime... Maybe I just fell asleep early in the day, he thought. Anyway, I should probably go meet some people, now. It seemed like he was dressed very strange for a "god". It wasn't nearly cold enough to be wearing a coat like the one he had, but he still wore it anyway... After all, it had sentimental value. He opened the door to his room and walked through the hallway until he found an internal "map" of the building. Levi stood near it for a while, attempting to memorize where everything was. Ooh, they have a bar! Wait... I'm not even old enough to drink.. eh, fuck it. Don't do it... You'll wind up getting slammed and talking to me out loud like a fucking Schizo. "What's that? Talking to you out loud like a fucking schizo?" Nobody was around him at the time to hear what he said, though. Fine, do whatever you want. 's what I was going to do anyway. He glanced at the map one last time then started walking down to the bar.

Levi casually walked inside and held the door open for a man-er... god that was walking out. Contrary to what he was expecting, Nobody seemed to pay any special attention to him entering the bar. It was going pretty well, for now.
