Lilith smiled slowly and rolled her eyes. She though momentarily about brushing her offer off but where would the fun be in that? So she did as the girl asked but was carful to keep on foot on the ground so most of her weight was on th floor.

She wrapped her arms around her waist and kissed her neck. She was losing her grasp of reason.

Ilim was just changing to contact an old friend when he heard a knock on the door. The vision pool went immediately blank and the obsidian door blended into the wall. He went out of the circular room into the living quarters and opened the door.
"Ah, Mr. Magnuson. What impeccable timing. Come in! Do you take tea?"
"I must say, that is something I have never been accused of (He offered a polite nod) - as for the tea, I would never decline. Anarchy, were I am from." Hitch walked in, while taking out a tablet from within his inner pocket. "As it is, I have some news, information... surveillance if you will. I thought it prudent we discuss it." He started working on the tablet, quickly selecting and sorting folders, before handing it to Ilim - on it was a series of files marked "PHOTO_TARGET_JAMIE" with a series of Photos of the individual, "VIDEO_TARGET_JAMIE" with a series of surveillance clips from webcams, ATM's, Cellphones, etc. , "AUDIO_TARGET_JAMIE" with recorded calls not only of Jamie, but also people talking about him. Inside there was a sub-folder "AUDIO_NOX-JAMIE_INTERACTION" where they talked about Hot chocolate and how she talked about being disappointed about something. There was also a clip where apparently he used some sort of power on aforementioned "hot Chocolate". There were other files with GPS tracking data, Email and text records, search records. There was also records of family and friends, as well as superficial tracking information on them. "It is rather extensive, but I thought it would be better to be covered on as many bases as possible. Nothing untoward, but sufficiently complete."

Lilith smiled leaning back against the other girl she picked up her drink and too a long sip.

Ilim looked at the tablet from the corner of his eye as he brewed some masala chai with his fire. He let out a bark of laughter.

"I said it when you arrived and I'll say it again. You, my friend, have impeccable timing. I was just getting limited second-hand information about this very conversation. Not that my informant knows she's an informant. I should be getting a more extensive report soon. Ah, there it is."

He spoke to thin air.

"No, Calcifer. It's fine. Go back to Amanda."

He opened a cupboard and took out tea cups and saucers.

"So the mysterious Ms. Bonne-Nuit is Nox. Hardly surprising. Do you take milk to your tea?"

"I like a dash, just to break the heat. (He raised an eyebrow) Is it not usually the bad guys who laugh when their plans come to a head? (He let out a slight guffaw, before recollecting himself) Should we assume then the child is not human? or at least not completely so... Or is she augmenting him somehow?" He peered upwards, his two hands came together just below his nose in a force of habit - something he did when he collected his thoughts.

"No, his presence is still human, there is only the smallest blot of ink."

He poured tea into their cups and added a dash of milk in each. He placed a packet of Jaffa cakes between them.

"We can assume she means to add to that blot. In the meantime I have a chosen child of my own, I must confess it did not start as such, but she is far too useful to ignore. She is...close to Nox's vessel."

He sipped his tea and ate a Jaffa.

Hitch smelled the tea and was brought out of his mind. He declined the cake. "And what is the function would such a vessel serve. Is this an isolated incident or is the precedent from which to draw?" He sipped the tea and closed his eyes, breathing out through his nose as his shoulders visibly relaxed slightly.

"Nox and I have been going back and forth like this for millennia. With this boy she has brought humanity into our little power play. My ward would only be an extension of my power, keeping an eye on Jamie and Nox by proxy. The only things I gave her is fire, the drive to gain her own power, just as I did with your ancestors some thousands of years ago and a guide to help her along. With these recent developments I'm wondering if she needs more human ones. Many of us have chosen many representatives in the past, but Nox never has. Something feels off, can you feel it? Like electricity in the air. Like a cup about to spill. I wonder..." Is that why Nox chose one?

He drained the cup and stood up.

"I have some messages to give, you may observe if you wish. It might be for the best."

Hitch was still nursing his cup, savoring both the taste and the new information he was getting. "I have not felt anything ominous, but I do feel like there is something... as if we are in the moments before the race starts, the horses chomping at the bit, ready, rearing... and the only thing missing, the only thing restraining the inevitable whistle is the fact that many are still conspiring to get their jockey's mounted." He perked up near the end, registering the invitation and then inclining his head towards Ilim - "I might as well sit in. I suppose that, should I so willingly swim in these deep waters, I should keep my life-savers close by." He added a grin before taking another sip.

Lil glanced around before climbing off the girls knee. Lilith already had a bit of a reputation and this would only feed the rumours, she returned to her seat and instead took the girls have in hers and linked their fingers across the bar top, "you don't hesitate, do you?" Lilith smirked.

"Follow me then. Long ago I told eleven of my priesthood to watch and wait for my return. It's time they stopped waiting."

He led Hitch into the circular pool room and told the Stokers to be at ease. He sat down and conjured a chair for Hitch as well. The vision pool cleared to show the image of an old African woman, praying at an altar in a hut.

"Hello, Mbuku. It's been a while."

She threw her head up in surprise, tears filling her eyes.

"My lord! You've returned!"

"I have. How is everyone?"

"Ngumbau and Pemphero despaired and gave up your gift. We are only nine now."

"I...grieve to hear that. I have a message for you. In Britain there lives a girl named Amanda Baudelaire. I have given her fire and now she seeks the Great Secrets. You are to be her teachers. Do any of you have a computer?"

Mbuku had listened carefully to every word in religious ecstasy. Now she was brought out of that.

"My lord, our village is poor and does not have much, but a friend of my husband's brother's lives in Dodoma and has many things. He is sympathetic to our cause. If we send Mayeso he may lend it to him."

"Good, I have an ally. His name is Hitch and if he wants to he'll help you find her on the Internet where she seeks. What do you say Mr. Magnuson? Will you do it?"

She smirked and nodded. She kissed her cheek. "I'll go all the way once I've had 5." she said with a smirk.

Lilith paused for a moment before laughing quietly, "five hmm?" She tilted her head at the girl before smiling, "what would six get me?"

She laughed. "Let's find out." She drank six glasses of scotch and crawled into her lap.

Lilith just rolled her eyes and sat there in a slightly awkward way. She scowled looking up, "I know you're watching Virian....and Macaria." Lil sighed making the girl on her knee stand before getting off the stool, "you two must have better things to do."

@FireMaiden @Safety Hammer
"I know that we do." she slurred, smirking. She pressed her lips to Lilith.

Virian ignored her, and sipped from his juice box. He and Macaria had a little 'people watching' group. And it was his turn to bring snacks.

"With your permission, I could just provide dear MBuku with a portable option... the connection itself is also not a problem." While Hitch said this, his pupils contracted and he accessed his private network, from where he instructed "Black_Diamond" - One of Eight Satellites Code Named "PROJECT_BEHOLDER" to move towards, focus on and then maintain its position over the general area near Dodoma. From there is projected forth over most of the country a hidden and highly encrypted signal - which all of Hitch's technology could easily connect to. It also allowed him to teleport anywhere in the country where the signal could be found. He had been setting this up since before he became a god, wanting to give the world a free, uncensored connection, which would allow for transparency and international interaction. Now as a god, he had yet to find a figure head to take over the management of the project. "Where exactly is she located? Does she have a power-connection? or should I arrange for solar?"

There was a brief moment of shock and the bar melted away. Until Lilith pulled back and laughed awkwardly, she grabbed the girls hand, "come on..." She tugged her gently away from the bar and to the exit. Flipping of the two gods that were shipping them.

[QUOTE="Safety Hammer]"I ship it like Amazon prime. You don't even have to pay for that shipping"
