"I blame tumblr, that infernal heap of celebrated steaming digital pustules... and you are?" He smiled/grimaced at her and held out a hand in greeting. "Hitch Magnuson, charmed."
"I'm Macaria," She said crossing her arms. "Sorry, I can't do physical contact," She said.

His grimace actually turned into an actual smile for a second, before he looked in disgust at his hand. "Forgive me, but I do know. Unfortunate habit, but useful manipulation tool. Had to get over my disgust though... as they say, the world is built on handshakes." He retracted his hand, absentmindedly wiping at against his pant leg. He then turned his head to Tyr who, for a rather strong god seemed to be having quite the struggle with that door.

"I think the mighty war god might have finally met a worthy foe," She chuckled. "I wonder why she's in pain, an she's in quite a bit, I can feel the misery," The goddess said with a faint smirk.

Arabelle's screaming and sobbing only grew louder as more and more people died. She sobbed bitterly.

Macaria was actually a bit surprised, "This is...this is slightly cool," She muttered. "Tyr, you might want to get the door open a bit quicker."
@Safety Hammer
"She really is going for it. What is you do by the way?" He looked over at her again.

"Death, Destruction, and Misery."
"Is it fate... or coincidence? I can never decide." He scratched at his chin for a moment. "either way, While I am aware that you are probably either the advent or enabler of recent events, I have to enquire as to Why? As I understand things, normally planetary level events are discussed and then debated, and then fought over? Did you go over it beforehand with a lord of order and have it okayed by Posiden or one of his lackeys? I am just a bit concerned should you be going about without some sort of... oversight? I won't deny that you are useful, but moderation and deliberation is key." He tried to go for his most placating and considerate voice, hoping that the sincerity behind his enquiries was conveyed well enough

Macaria cocked and eyebrow, "You must be new. Ok, look hon, I don't have to talk about anything I do to anyone. I don't work for anyone but myself, so I can do whatever the fuck I want. I kill anything I want, I cause misery to what I want, and I destroy what I want. I'm the one goddess that doesn't have to deal with the so called top dogs," She cocked her head to one side, "Got that?"

"and no concern from anyone, none of them have a vested interest in protecting their flocks? or at least vying for them? God, they truly are a bunch of heartless things aren't they?" He shook his head, before nodding at her. "I guess that is that then. I have some newspapers to publish and rooms to furnish. tah" He left to the screams of which, if he ever felt some sort of sympathy for, he did not anymore.

Ilim felt really good about this day so far. Nox had actually been just a minor bump in the road compared to the rest of it. He went to Olympus, a process that can best be described by picking up a piece of cloth and sticking a needle into it.

They'd really prettied the place up since he last visited a century or so ago. His own palace had been in Muspelheim before it was flooded as a result of a brief quarrel with Njord. After that he had just lived full time in the human world.

There was screaming from somewhere. His eyes widened at the realisation of who it was. He started running over to the source of the screams and saw a group of gods trying to open a door.

"What's going on? What's wrong with Arabelle?"
Arabelle's screaming and sobbing only grew louder as more and more people died. She sobbed bitterly.
Lilith was sat on the floor besides the girl trying to comfort her. Reaching up she unlocked the door with one hand whilst whispering soothing things to the other girl.

Arabelle was in utter agony and it wasn't stopping. She writhed on the floor and cried out.

She stroked the girls ginger hair as the door swung open. Lil pulled her closet her chest and continued to stroke her hair.

She rocked her gently, "it's okay," she shushed her.

"I think the dumb bitch tried to mess with my work, so now she's paying for it," Macaria said coldly. "Doesn't she know not to that?"

(It's been opened)

Ilim frowned at Macaria's foul language. "Arabelle's the goddess of suffering. If anyone prays to her she feels their pain. Whatever you did has obviously caused lots of death in the human world and consequently, this happens." He gestured at the door where the worst had seemed to pass.

"So she's the reason I had to go a destroy, and kill more things to fill my quota?" Macaria crossed her arms.
