The assassin's ears flicked toward the stranger's location as he fell, and she let out an amused huff. Far from graceful. She lifted her gaze from the corpse in front of her to the wolf-man as he approached. They were both of wolven origin, but that seemed to be the only similarity Karayan and the male possessed. Not only did their physical characteristics differ greatly - she was humourously small, he was significantly larger; their hair colour and types were different as were their eyes; their facial structures differed; and the obvious: they possessed opposite genitalia - but their personalities and auras were almost polar opposites. He was loud and playful, she was quiet and serious; he was rambunctious and strong, she was precise and agile. To most, it would seem that the male would easily overpower the small wolf-demon, but Karayan knew she was more skilled than she appeared to be.


Never underestimate your opponent.


Unfortunately, she also knew that she was injured and weak at the moment. If this male decided to attack her, she would hardly put up a fight. Perhaps she could run and escape; parkour was a talent she possessed and could prove to be helpful in such a situation. Still, the wounds and sore joints and muscles she possessed would prove to be a hindrance.


When she finished her quick inspection of the stranger, she finally spoke: "I have not seen the likes of you around here before. What is your name, and where do you come from?"


 
Rel brushed his robe while listening to her story. "Well...our...cult is searching for new members, lost souls, those who aren't good but in the same time not evil, I heard that inside the forest was a vampire killing people, and while searching for him I accidently found you two." Rel confessed. "So...what exactly are you? like...what do you do for a living?" he asked, his voice now showing a curious tone.

"Well, do you know if she happens to be part of any guild or such? That way we could probably find her and, well get the information from her, somehow." He proceeded to wave a tiny leather bag in front of Rais, the sound of metal against metal could be heard from inside it.

She looked at him with a cold and serious expression, "I'll help find a way to save yours and you help find a way to end mine..." Eve let the room fall deathly silent around her.


She knew she'd just left the boy before her with a huge weight on his shoulders and she felt wrong to do it as this was her problem. But if he could help...then she might was well try or face watching the world around her change while she stayed frozen in time, stuck in something she'd rather run from.

Alicia nodded. "Well. That vampire dude is straight up evil, I can tell you that right now. I dunno why he didn't kill us, to be honest. Probably some random twisted reason.." She told him, shrugging. "I'm a Light Goddess. I travel around and heal people and junk while simultaneously stopping evil dudes like the vampire from hurting people." She explained. "Though...I guess I'm not as strong as I originally thought, seeing as I kinda lost." She added, pouting slightly. "Oh well, what matters is those two survived and got away, I guess." She was honestly depressed, she felt as if she had only gotten weaker over the years. She wasn't exactly how long she'd lived, but she was obviously a fragment of her former self if she used to be a Goddess..
 
"I don't even know her name, no introduction at all." Heading deeper into the shadows of the trees, expecting Ryuu to follow, his cloak hovering behind him like a ghost. "But she went in this direction, so your best guess is mine."
 
"You're not strong? if you tried to beat me...I would probably lose." Rel said, trying to cheer her up and just hope she don't die, since she is part of the balance between good and evil, and since the dark lords are getting stronger, he would need to keep the gods and other beings alive.

"You're not evil though, I'd have no reason to try to beat you. But..thanks for trying to cheer me up." She replied. "I'm sure you're pretty strong though, you healed me just as fast as I can heal people, that's pretty impressive." She added. In reality, though, the fact that a simple half demon with healing magic was on par with her made her slightly more depressed, though she didn't show it outwardly. Maybe today was just a fluke, and maybe the vampire guy was just really strong. Alicia hoped that was the case, because if she couldn't help people and stop evil what was her purpose?
 
"But we are demons, and you are a goddess, you're still more powerful than me and the others." Rel said, looking down at Alicia. "Alicia, please, just don't try anything stupid that can get you killed, alright?" he put a hand on her shoulder, and by 'stupid' he was talking about suicide and sacrifing herself for a petty reason.

He didnt budge,staring at smoke."...fine...but in one condition..."he finally looked to her,pointing at her with the cigarette "you have to stick around until i die."he was as serious as she. If he was to live,than she would have to wait till his death bed to die."deal?"

She was hesitant, she'd already waited 59 years, eventually she nodded, "Deal." She managed to force a smile, "guess we'll be hanging around one another for a lot longer then..."

"Oh, finally...I heard that you can be hired as a bodyguard, right?" Lazarus asked, as he fix his hat back on place. "I'm Lazarus, it's a pleasure to meet you." He said, smiling under his mask. "And you are?" he asked, showing a real curious tone.
