Fantasy Welcome to Eridia

Michi stayed still. It seemed they were in a stare down. She was winded, but still had fight in her step. She couldn't let the wolves do all the work. She aimed an arrow at Breaker. "Try it" she said teasingly

"Try what?" Breaker said coldly as he raised his sword and pointed it at her, still watching her every move.

"Make your move Oliver.... we don't have all day..." she said a bit teasingly. "Or have you never left some one alive long enough to say that too you?"

Breakers eyes seemed to burn brighter as she said the last sentence. A large wave of fire was launched her way, engulfing some of the wolfs and imps on it's way too. Purple energy then gathered around the blade of his sword again.

Michi braced herself. She couldn't avoid the fire. She was hit by it and knocked down. As she got up some of her clothing was scorched. she had some small burns on her skin as well. She looked around. Most of the Imos were dead, but so were the wolves. She did not want their sacrifice to be in vain. She stood straight up and took aim again. "That the best you got" she yelled

Now this was truly annoying to Breaker, his blade began radiating some sort of black energy. "Well, I would like to see if you've got anything more." He started walking towards her, his blade still radiating the black energy.

Michi was exhausted. She was showing it but would not let herself go down. "Hit me" she yelled as she shot another arrow. she had some things on her belt she had prepared before. All she had to do was wait.

Breaker laughed at her in a cocky manner. He suddenly started running at her his speed compared to his size would shock most, however, most who had seen him fight wouldn't have been surprised. Once he was in front of her he struck straight at her.

(@The Unamed Character heh, goodie. Have fun!)

Rais smirked as he watched from the shadows, the battle between wolf and imp, assassin and king. The war led to vengeance, vengeance for comrades falling to the left and right. Vengeance for whatever violence caused to fuel his hunger, he was excited. He wanted to take part, he wanted to fight. To kill. Utter bloodlust filled his senses, and his natural instincts began to take over.

With this insurmountable pressure, Rais began to grow unnatural features than originally on his humanoid form. Two curved black horns sprouted right beneath his hair line, and his front canines adapted into a sharper shape and give him a vampiric appearance. To further exaggerate his appearance, black bat-like wings erupted from his upper spinal column. With a grin full of malicious intent, he dove from the treetops headfirst, only to end in a glide towards the battle field.

As he made an appearance, the sound of steel being unsheathed resounded across a small portion of the skirmish. Rais's figure was shown flying meters above the warring forces, two blades unsheathed; the shorter wakizashi held limply in his hands, and an imp impaled along the katana held above his head. The blood dripped down the cold steel, pooling at the hilt before gravity willed it to drip downward into Rais's gaping maw. It stained his lips, leaving a bloodred mark down the corner of his lips. His sadistic entrance was enough to attract the attention of the few observing him, and Rais dropped down to create even more chaos.

As a brave imp came to try and deliver a blow to Rais's exposed wings, Rais simply sidestepped and stuck his katana through the attacker's spine. "Nice of you to strike first.. now your comrades will come for you, in some unnecessary strife of valor.." Rais raised the dying imp and quickly swung his blade downward, sending the corpse off into a different crowd. Rais's red eye began to glow violently, an almost fiery aura erupting and engulfing him in a demonic presence. His attacks became more vicious, violent, as kill after kill of the imps led him to absorb more pain from the dead. He was soon to grow uncontrollable, a true demon, the essence of vengeance itself.

Michi flew back and hit a tree. She felt like she would black out soon from the pain. But she stood up and took her fighting stance with her blades. "You.... you think it would be that easy.... to take me down..." she said as she ran at Breaker, each step she took she readied herself for an attack.

Breaker struck her one more time with his blade however this time he was only half focused since the other half of his focus was on the demonic presence that had just appeared.

Michi was forced to the ground. She was cut, bruised and bleeding. She slowly got up. "Try..... Try again..." she said weakly as she stabbed one of her blades into Breaker. She was close enough that she was able to get under the flaps of his armor and stab her blade into him

Breakers reaction was to be expected, a loud scream and then all his attention turned towards Michi, now that he was blinded by rage. He wrapped his hand around her throat and lifted her up towards the sky. "So what do you have to say now?" He looked at her, his burning rage literally visible in his eyes.

Rais soon got bored of the minuscule power the imps possessed, but he managed to build up enough power from their unfulfilled feelings of revenge that he had grown extraordinary strength along with his boosted demonic enhancement. He flew above the crowd, leaving be the wolves and imps and instead heading towards the other demonic figure on the field. A glowing red, he soon approached and came into visual distance of the two fighters. He hovered over the two, watching eagerly as the two fought it out and waiting for a moment to intervene.

Michi grinned. "All I have to say is..." she stabbed a blade into his for arm and kept slamming it in order for it to impale him more. "I always finish a job...." she said these words with harsh breaths

He let go and then stepped backwards. He then proceeded to pick his sword, which he had dropped before, back of the ground.

All while laughing quietly to himself.

Rais slowly began to hover down to the ground, meters away from the warring troops in an effort not to intervene. Even with the smaller frame of the assassin, she was holding her own against the hulking mass that was her opponent. His blades hung at his side, moving only to deliver quick fatal blows to imps appoaching from behind. But his gaze stayed on the two, animalistic interest similar to the way a hawk looks at food.

@The Unamed Character @Elemtiac

Michi fell to all fours and started to cough up blood. She looked up with teary eyes. She looked around and saw the battlefield. There were wolves and Imps bodies on the grounds. she clenched her fists as she stood up. She didn't have her blades because they were in Breakers body. She stood up straight and looked at him. "I am not giving up... even if it kills me...." she said as she picked her bow up. Her bow was made of the steel used in swords. One end was sharpened and the string was broken. It seemed thick enough to be used as a defensive sword.

    Location: Irongarde, Priollot Sqaure

A crowd had assembled in the city's main hub, Priollot Square. Some were there simply because they knew that their family or friends were there, unsure of the true cause behind the accumulation of such a plethora of citizens. Some weren't even citizens of Irongarde, visiting the capitol city for reasons specific to them. Their reasons ranged from trading purposes - either legal or illegal - to visiting family or simply just to sight-see. And then there were the ones who weren't even citizens of the small Kingdom of Vriaria. All in all, everyone had gathered together for the same reason.

To watch a criminal undergo a beheading.

The moment Karayan stepped off the military-grade transportation wagon, angry shouts rose up from the crowd. But she didn't care; she was exhausted and sore due to the amount of torture she had been put through in just the past couple of days. The silver shackles chained to her wrists, ankles, and neck burned her skin, leaving red, charred rings on the limbs. Continuous exposure to the silver, though, diminished the amount of pain that she felt; in fact, she was numb in those areas, now.

Her throat burned from the lack of water, and her lungs screamed from overuse. One of the punishments the guards had put her through was submerging her head in water for long periods of time, but never long enough for her to drown. And it was all because she inquired about a drink.

Karayan was led towards the angry crowd, her bare, calloused feet carrying her forward. Despite her helpless predicament, she kept her head held as high as she could muster, looking straight ahead at the stage. The stage that held the executioner, the heavy battleaxe, and the chopping block. The stage that held her impending death.

The hybrid hadn't walked too far when a solid object connected with her head. She faltered for a moment, ears laid back in irritation with carnivorous teeth bared, but she stood up and straight and continued walking, ignoring the rock that clamored to the ground. The half-breed could feel a bead of blood beginning to form and trickle down her forehead. However, she ignored the warm liquid and kept her gaze straight ahead.

Karayan locked her gaze on the executioner and his weapon, tuning out the boisterous group of people that surrounded her and her escorts. He was currently sharpening the blade of his axe on a grinder, the harsh dissonance of metal on rock resonating in the air.
"Murderer!" the blade seemed to sing. "Traitor!"

The crowd echoed the accusations at the assassin, yelling incomprehensible threats and "You deserve this's" and "I wish I could kill you myself's". Perhaps she shouldn't let them know that she felt no guilt taking away their friends' and family's lives. In fact, she enjoyed listening to their terrified screams and watching as the red liquid flowed from their wounds.

The demon-wolf finally pushed her way through the audience to the stage, though not without receiving a few more blunt objects thrown at her and some ruthless hits. She exchanged a cold gaze with the Jarl of Irongarde, Arturus Elyot the Bold, as she made her way to the center of the stage, being presented in front of the crowd as if she were a criminal.

Oh yeah. She was.

Arturus strode forward and stood beside the demon hybrid to begin the execution as soon as possible. His mouth opened, ready to begin the rites, but Karayan interrupted him. "
Oh, you're actually doing something yourself instead of having some slave do it for you?" Her voice was dripping with hatred and mockery.

The Jarl, however, only gave the assassin an irritated glare, refusing to answer her. Instead, he continued on with the quick introduction. He unrolled the parchment that held her charge and information. "'
Merciless', a lycanthropian demon hybrid, unknown birth name of unknown origin, has been accused and tried for numerous accounts of murders. Too many to count. She has been sentenced to death for her traitorous acts against the Kingdom of Vriaria." He paused for a moment, looking up at the crowd to follow protocol. "Are there any objections against the trial, in hopes to find the accused innocent?" He spat out the last word with disgust, as everyone knew fairly well that the one of the stage was completely guilty.

(I left this post open-ended just in case someone wanted to show up randomly or whatever.)

Kuro jumped from tree to tree huridly. A person had hire him to help some one that was already paid to kill some guy named Breaker something. The person that had hired him thaught that the person that was already hired would need some help, so he hired The Ruthless Assassin to help with the job. Kuro then came to a clearing that looked sort of scorched and reaked of the smell of death. 'So there is the girl I'm supposed to help,' kuro thaught. 'And the guy she supposed to kill, and a guy with wings? Weird.' Kuro then shot one of his daggers from his crossbow at the guy in the armor, 'Might as well do my job though.'

"I grew up.... without real parents..." she said rasply. "I never knew my parents, just my wolf parents." she coughed up blood. "I have always thought I didn't belong.... but that only gives me the determination to become better...." she looked him dead in the eyes and yelled "AND I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!!!" she took the bow/sword in both hands and jabbed it into his gut as she yelled it "NO MATTER IF I DIE.... I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE"

"What an interesting resolve, tell me where does all that courage come from?" Breaker was still laughing quietly to himself as he said this.
@The Unamed Character

Rais quickly darted and grabbed at the approaching projectile shot by Kuro, mid-air as he glared off into the distance to its point of origin. He debated on whether to approach the interrupting figure, or just to leave it be and hope he got the message. @Red Reaper

Kuro's eyes widened in suprise when his dagger was caught. 'Who is this guy?' He asked himself. 'That doesn't matter as of right now, he knows I'm here and he is jepordising my mission,' Kuro thaught as he flicked his left wrist, causing his knife to come. He grabbed his knife and pulled out a smoke bomb, 'I need to get rid of him in order to finish this mission.' Kuro then jumped down from his tree, into the field. Next he got the smoke bomb in his hand and threw on the ground, envoleloping them in smoke. 'This guy is going down!'

A grin grew on Rais's face, fangs bared as he saw the opposing figure prepare for a fight. The two blades in his hands grew tighter in his grip, the two already layered with the crimson blood of slain foes. His attire itself was already blood-stained, and dried blood from earlier foes stained his cheeks. "Invading and trying to impose upon a duel is rude, scoundrel. Completely against customs and proper courtesies, let me teach you a lesson on hand-to-hand combat."
