Fantasy Welcome to Eridia

Michi looked in disbelief. She survived a fight against Steelwood. "What the...." She looked at her bow. "I actually survived.... If he comes for me...." she looked around and took off in the direction behind her

"Aww boo.." Rais mumbled from his position in the trees, his brow crumpling together in false frustration as he observed the end of their battle. "No death, no despair, no lost feelings of revenge.." He hummed those words in a singsong tune, a sadistic set of lyrics to an unrhymed poem or song.

His hands slid off the hilts of his blades, and he let out a large sigh as he reached for the dropped hood behind his back. Raising it up to cover his face, his figure began to glow an eerie green to match one of his mismatched pupils. Enhanced energy began to flow throughout his unearthly humanoid form, and he dashed in the direction the archer had fled towards at an inhuman speed.

Breaker groaned loudly as he sat down in his throne. These attacks against him had become more and more frequent. But there was that other presence he had noticed it had felt like some sort of demon, he hadn't seen anyone, though. Then there was whoever shot the shadow blades, it definitely wasn't the archer so then who was it. And then there was the archer, she didn't even seem to know what prey she was hunting, she must be pretty new to the job if she couldn't even check who she was hunting before she went out.

Michi was jumping in the trees. She loved this feeling, but now was not the time to enjoy. She had to roughen up the employer that sent her on this hunt. They did not tell her she would be facing Steelwood. If she had known that she would have laughed in their face then. Now she had to tell them off. She heard another coming towards her at an unhuman like pace. She stopped, hidden by the foliage, and awaited her pursuer.

Moments after she had stopped her pace, the cloaked figure stopped meters away from where her she herself began to sense his presence. "So, archer?.." Rais called out to her, arms crossed in front of his chest and a smirk over his face. "Hiding will get you nowhere.. let me see now.." He took a deep breathe from his nose, as if he was toying with her. "Is it revenge against the war machine you had narrowly escaped from?.. No.. maybe revenge against those that had sent you on this suicidal mission.. it is, isn't it?" He licked his lips, eyes darting back and forth before turning to face where she was hidden. "Found you.."

Michi burst from her spot. She launched away from branch to branch, going as quick as a wolf. She did not want anymore trouble than she already caused. She did not know if this man was a part of Silverwoods following. She did not stop.

Ryuu sat at the inn in the tiny village, not drinking today he was mostly looking for information. He took a bite of the sandwich he had ordered and watched the people who passed in and out of the inn's door. "Another boring day huh, guess I'll leave tomorrow." He stretched himself out on the table and fell asleep.

"As long as you hold onto these feelings of vengeance, there is nowhere you can hide." Rais watched her jump away, giving her a few seconds before crouching in preparation to leap. The toes of his feet grinding against the bark of the branch, he leapt forward in her direction again.

She soon came back into sight, and Rais quickly closed the gap as his figure flashed with a bright green. His speed, unproportional to the observation of the mortal eye, milliseconds ahead of his actual body. "I'm not hunting you, rather.. I'm looking to find where that other demon lies. So.. listen to what I'm saying before I have to make you stop jumping." Rais threatened her, red eye beginning to glow and the green aura surrounding his form becoming tinted in the fiery film.

Michi kept running. She heard him. "I do not have feelings of revenge...." she said. It was true. She wanted to get to the town so she could see who sent her on the bounty. "I have no Idea where he lives..." she said as she went higher into the trees. The leaves were more dense and the leaves turned greener. She was more camouflaged here and it was harder to see her. Especially because she was fast

A light chuckle escaped his lips, as she slowly began to fade from his vision. "What if I was the one to send you on this endeavor?" He knew it was a farce, yet he needed her to stop to find the other individual. "I'm not much of a head hunter, so I hired one."

Michi had stopped. She knew there wasn't going to be escaping this man so she just dropped down straight in front of him. "Okay... I know I can't escape you... so what do you want?" she asked

"Well you were doing fine evading me so far." Rais stated blatently, halting at a tree branch above before jumping downward and landing on the dirt below them. "But thanks for stopping." He seemed to be almost out of breath, trying comedically to maintain his demonic presence. "You.. you run too.. too fast.." The green aura that had surrounded him earlier began to fade, evaporating until he held the figure of a mere mortal.

"Well I guess running would be easier on your end now.." His hands were resting on his knees, and he rose his head to look up at her. "Just need to know where he disappeared to. Feeding off the rancor people emit when facing him is kinda what I'm into."

"Well.. then I guess that means you'll have to go search for him again." Rais grinned, looking at her and then standing straight up and stretching. He spoke as if it were an easy task, head turning back towards where the battle had occured. "You don't even have to fight him again, I can take care of that if it comes down to it."

"I'm looking for Mike."

"Who's asking?"

"Ezell. I finished his job."

The man nodded and went to the back room, and returned promptly with Mike.

"Ah, Miss Ezell," He said good-naturely. "You have what I need?"

I nodded. "I just need my payment and I'll be on my way."

"Of course, of course. But not here..." He motioned for me to follow and returned to that back room. The back of the tavern was quiet and dimly lit. I'd been here on several occasions when discussing job details."So... You have it?" I hefted the bag I was carrying and handed it to him. He peeked inside and wrinkled his nose in disgust. Severed heads are not particularly nice to look at. "Well done, as usual, Miss Ezell," he said. He pulled a bag of coins out of his pocket and handed it to me. "I do hope he wasn't too much trouble."

"Not at all. He put up a fight, but was slow and clumsy," I said monotonously. I counted the money to make sure it was the right amount, and once I was satisfied, I stuffed the pouch into my pocket. "I should be going now."

"Of course!" Mike said. "Good fortune to you."

"And to you," I replied.

"Woah woah woah waoh....." she said and shook her hands. "Why is it up to me?" she asked "I am no chosen one for a prophecy.... i am not a big star... My parents didn't even want me... what makes you think I can find him?" she asked a bit irritated with him. "Why don't you look for him?"

Ryuu woke up suddenly and looked around, still sleepy. He yawned and picked his large backpack up, it was still a mystery to most how he could just leave his backpack unguarded like that. He put it on his back and began walking out the inn, he was going to head out into the forests again.

Once I left the tavern, I walked over to my horse, Nyx. She had been my only companion ever since I left my hometown, and had never failed me. I pet her nose, then mounted her. "Let's get out of this shithole..." I muttered.

I sighed contentedly, gazing up at the clouds as they floated lazily across the bright blue sky. A few feet away, my horse grazed happily. It had been a stressful day so far, and it felt nice to get away from the palace and just lie here in the forest. Unfortunately, I could never leave for long, because as a queen I had responsibilities and I couldn't simply neglect them. Oh, how I wished I could neglect them... I sat up and stretched. I sighed again, this time less content than before. My thoughts slowly started to wander as the often do, and I found myself thinking about her again. Jasmine... My greatest regret is not being able to say goodbye to you. That night had been so chaotic. I could only hope that she had moved on with her life. It had been more than 7 years... Surely she had moved on...

The tree she sat on was tall like that of an oak, her hair sat on a long braid that snaked its way out of her hood, her face was sullen as if she carried a weight on her strong shoulders and the forest was silent around her.

"No, but its more convenient if you looked for him. You're most likely better at tracking, and right here instead of hiring someone from somewhere else." Rais, spoke out, not seeming to bother whether she was in a rush or not. "How would your reputation be after coming back with a failed mission?"

Michi grumbled. 'He has a point... damn....I feel like I am about to regret this...' She thought to herself. Michi sighed. "Fine.... But I do need some information... like why do you want him?" she asked

breaker stood up and decided he should go somewhere. After having thought about his latest battle, he decided he should go somewhere where those kinds of strong people wouldn't go.

He entered a grove where some travelers had set up camp, in a minute or so he cut through the camp and slaughtered the travelers. "More worthless peasants..." He continued walking through the forest looking for more people to slay.

Eve lifted her head and sniffed the air, the pungent smell of blood hit her nostrils and she turn her attention towards the way in which it came, in needed slaughter. Her mind hissed at her as she slowly swung her way to the ground.

Having slaughtered quite a few travelers and forest dwellers, he decided it was his time to go do something actually productive. He began walking through the forest towards a place he knew a tiny village was located.

Once he stood outside the village he tapped his blade twice, and a few dozen imps crawled up behind him. After having told the imps to scout around the village for any "heroes", he decided he would attack the village. He raised his sword and pointed it towards the village, letting the imps attack first. He walked forward slowly behind the imps, the screams of the guards could be heard echoing throughout the entire forest as their flesh was ripped apart. "More worthless peasants..."

She moved silently, as her nickname states she moved ghost like through the forest. Not a noise from her as she moved through the shadows nearing the sound of screams echoing through the forest.
