We have Chemistry

Honey sighed as she started cleaning up the scorch marks. Eventually giving up, she tried to start again, this time causing a puff of powder to rise into the air.

Tadashi leapt forward, the coffee splashing onto the floor.

"Nononono, you're not supposed to be out here! Please come with me..."

He tried to carry Anne Droid, which was a bad idea since she weighed over 200 pounds. He instead resorted to rolling her over the floor.

Honey started to hear a bunch of noise, and she let out a groan, looking behind her at the moving blob. "Tadashi? Are you alright?" She asked first, looking at him.

Tadashi heard Honey Lemon's voice and promptly turned around and sat on Anne Droid, of which the robot protested of.

"Oh uh yeah, everythings fine I just dropped my coffee."

Anne Droid beeped furiosly and loudly, not appreciating being used as a throw pillow.

"Yep yep, Thank you for yooou-" Tadashi winced as he realized he was sat on the exhaust port of Anne, The temperature of his rear end steadily rising. "Ouuur consideration. I'm soorrry for disturbing you."

Honey nodded and turned back around to her work, putting on her goggles and starting to work again.

Tadashi set down Anne Droid onto his work station. He rubbed his face tiredly, the look of a tired and weary man written all over his visage. he wanted nothing more than to relax, to start something easier. He wanted to...

...

...

"Give up." Tadashi's expression opened up, his weariness replaced by a steelen gaze. He couldn't believe his own selfishness, this wasn't about his Finals grade or even about his own personal happiness, it was about Honey Lemon's safety. It was imperative that Anne be finished as soon as possible, even if it meant some overtime.

Tadashi locked the door to his office and closed the blinds, he blasted out some Fallout Boy and lighted his electric torch. It was time to get down to business.

Honey could hear the music next door and she smiled lightly, continuing her work. She began to tap her foot as she worked, everything she was doing soon falling into the rythm of the song. It actually proved to be de stressing for her, and it made her want to dance. Of course, she had to balance a serum so she couldn't, but she could still move as she did it.

Tadashi drummed out to the beat of the music, taking inspiration from the spirited and passionate lyrics coming from the speaker. Although it was probably in Tadashi's best interest to be careful around power tools, he couldn't resist a little shake here and there. But the most difficult part of the robot still laid in wait. Harder than troubleshooting AI problems, Harder than welding with a sore thumb.

He had had to tie a bow on the darned thing.

Honey was getting close to solving her little chem ball problem but she had wasted all her chem balls. With a sigh, she grabbed a new box, the thing weighing down in her arms. She tipped side to side as she tried to hold it up, eventually slipping on a small puddle of water. She let out a yelp as she box came crashing down over her head, spheres pouring out from the box and all over the floor.

Tadashi growled as he tried to wrap the bow around Anne's chassis. His fingers didn't seem to agree with his brain and created a crumpled mess of a bow. Tadashi then heard a loud crash in the other room, which he opened the blinds to. His eyes widened. Honey Lemon was in a minefield of her own chem balls.

"Ummmm, its probably best if you stood still."

Honey sighed. "Their not charged silly, though they are still pretty dangerous." She said to him, looking at the glowing balls.

Tadashi relaxed.

"Well that shouldn't be a problem you're not that heavy. I mean I don't mean that you're small its just that you know... I also don't mean the other thing where... forget it."

He stepped backwards, towards a glowing yellow ball that was right under his heel.

Honey looked up at him and let out a short scream before covering her face as a large puff of yellow powder exploded under Tadashi's heel.

Tadashi's life flashed before his eyes. He could only wonder what kind of deformities and disabilities await him. Maybe he would grow a third arm, his skin would melt off or his hair would turn purple.

Except...

Some of the dust had gotten into his mouth and it tasted like...

"Accch! It tastes like spoiled mustard!"

Honey let out a gasp, carefully stepping around and finding some water and pouring it in a glass and quickly getting it to him.

Tadashi quickly rinsed out his mouth and began to become a little dramatic. He looked at Honey a little nervous.

"Give it to me straight Honey, Will I never taste the chocolaty goodness of cake ever again?"

He gave the cutest puppy eyes in all of existence.

Tadashi continued to stare at Honey Lemon with those chocolate eyes that seemed to tremble in the light.

Honey laughed, poking his nose lightly before pinching his cheeks. "Yes but only my delicious chocolate cake." She said.

Tadashi sighed in fake sadness. "Awwww Aunt Cass will be Sooooo dissapointed that I can't eat her cakes anymore." Tadashi blew air into his cheeks to shake off her hands, making him look like a chipmunk for a second.

Tadashi smiled and carefully got up, making sure he didn't step on any more chem balls. He patted off the yellow dust off of himself, oblivious to the rest of the gang peering in through a window.

"So... I was thinking we could make a little detour when work is over, you game?"
