Honeylemmon sighed as her alarm went off bright and early at 6 am. She smiled and got out of bed, looking around her room. Her room was full of fluffy things, and since it was college, she shared a room with Gogo. Half of the room was bright and pink, full of papers on chemistry, a white board with equations on it, and fluffy Japanese pink pillows and toys almost everywhere. The other side was darker, had chewing gum, and things thrown hastily all over. Honeylemmon got dressed in her usual, lab coat with a nice short sleeved t shirt underneath, cute leggings, a pair of heels, her glasses and a headband. She smiled and grabbed her bag, heading over to the lab.

"Finally, I can go to sleep."


Tadashi groaned as he finished up the last of his project. He had spent almost the entire night working on the last few touches to his secret project and was definitely feeling the after effects of an all-nighter.


"Just take an hour to sleep and-"


His alarm went off. Slowly and almost painfully, Tadashi got out of bed and changed into a cardigan and t-shirt. He was oblivious to the fact he had put them on backwards. He threw a pencil at Hiro, who was asleep at his computer with the screen still blinking. He opened the door and almost left, but remembered something. He quickly took his baseball cap and left the house to the lab, trying to avoid Aunt Cass on the way out.

Honeylemmon smiled as she greeted everyone. "Good morning!" She called, but saw that most of them where in fact asleep. She smiled and brought a blanket over to Gogo, who had fallen asleep mid fight with Wasabi. They must have stayed up really late. She let out a soft giggle and threw a blanket over them, before throwing one over Fred and going back to her work. She hummed softly as she got to her station, turning on a few things. She smiled as she looked at all the chemicals in front of her and soon got to work, trying to perfect a serum to paralyze on injection.

Tadashi stumbled through the door of the "nerd lab", carrying Hiro with him. He dumped the sleeping Hiro onto the couch, right next to GoGo. He looked over the lab. Everyone was either asleep or a zombie. He heard a clatter from Honey Lemon's station.


"Well almost everybody." He thought to himself. He knew better than to disturb her when she was working, lest one of them loses an eyebrow or two. But today he was genuinely curious. He peeked his head around the corner.


"If you're working on something explosive, I can always come back another time."

Honeylemmon looked up as Tadashi came into the lab. She smiled at him and stood up. "No, just working on a way to paralyze." she said, before adding one chemical to the other. Unfortunately, she miscalculated at it created a violent reaction, causing a puff of pink powder to explode in her face. "Nevermind." She mumbled, going back to work.

Tadashi laughed a little bit, coming out from behind the door frame.


"Well I'm no chemistry major, but I'm pretty sure its not supposed to do that."


Then Tadashi got a thought into his head.


"Say, what are you making paralysis serums for? You aren't going to use them on us are you?"


Sometimes Honey Lemon blurred the line between Colleague and Test Rat, although to be fair everyone else did also.

Honey Lemmon smiled at him. "Oh no, not you of course. I was thinking of modern weapon usage. It's not exactly safe for a girl to walk around alone in these parts. But if I succeed, then no one will have to worry anymore." She said to him, taking the vile and beginning to wash the chemicals out of it.

"Well that seems a tiny bit more important than what I'm doing."


Tadashi leaned over to where Honey Lemon was working and started absent mindedly going through the different chemicals.


"Of course if everyone had someone like Gogo, Crime would go kaput in a day."

Honey Lemmon let out a laugh, looking over at him. "Well not everyone is Gogo." She said, grabbing some different beakers and chemicals. "Sometimes you need to create something to feel safe. Kind of like when humans needed to make security systems to get alerts if people broke into homes or other things.

"Well I'm glad at least one of us is doing something productive, I can't say the same about Fred."


Tadashi was about to say something more when he heard the sounds of stirring people and consequently arguing.


"Sounds like your little explosion woke some of our little happy campers up." Already he could see Gogo and Wasabi fighting. Although it was cute when they fought, Tadashi could not see them anymore than friends. They were simply too different.

Honey Lemon laughed softly. "Did you know Wasabi is thinking of asking her out?" She said to him in a hushed voice, pointing at Gogo softly as they started fighting. She giggled and went back to her work, smiling as she did so. "I think it would be nice if some of the nerd lab regulars finally found the perfect one." She said, looking over at Tadashi who seemed to be staring at Wasabi and Gogo. "Does Tadashi have a little thing for Gogo?" She teased, pinching his cheek.

"Really? And how does little miss Lemon know this?"


Tadashi flinched and rolled his eyes when Honey Lemon took his cheeks hostage. Hiro's and Tadashi's cheeks were never safe, Aunt Cass and Honey Lemon made sure of that.


Tadashi supposed it would be nice if one of us was able to find someone, but people don't exactly line up when you tell them you're a science geek.


"Unbelievable. You know how it is with finals coming up. Plus I'm still a little steamed she stuck gum in my hair."

Honey Lemon let out a laugh, looking at him. "So I take that as a no." She said as she worked on her project. "But you know, it almost being finals means that it is almost Christmas time." She said to him, beginning to work on her project again. She smiled as she looked over at him for a second and smiled, going back to work.

Tadashi was about to say something when he heard his anti-theft alarm go off in his office.


"Excuse me for a second."


Tadashi disappeared into his office, sounds of a scuffle coming from the dark room. He finally emerged carrying Hiro in one hand and a data chip in the other.


"Unbelievable. Trying to steal my data-" Tadashi started.


"It wasn't stealing, I was just looking for inspiration." Hiro grumbled.


"In my personal files? How can you build a project on your baby photos?"


Tadashi dropped Hiro onto the couch.


"Next time don't log in as yourself you choad."


Hiro grumbled and went off to his part of the lab. Tadashi then turned to Honey Lemon.


"Kids these days..."

Honey Lemon smiled, going over to pinch Hero's cheek. "Hero, keep breaking into Tadashi's stuff and I will have to test the paralyses serum on you." She joked, holding up a syringe. That seemed to make him quiet. She smiled and went back to work on the serum, adding more chemicals together. 'And Tadashi might just have to join the fun."

Tadashi laughed a little bit when Hiro slowly slinked into his corner of the lab.


"Remind me to never let you and Aunt Cass meet, she might take some pointers from you."


Tadashi put on a pair of goggles and turned on a blowtorch. He started cutting out a frame from a square of sheet metal. He then drilled holes of various sizes that seemed to follow no pattern.

Honey Lemon laughed, shaking the syringe. "Oh trust me. It would be the best to see your reaction." She said as she kept working. She was actually quite fond of spending time with Tadashi, he was a nice kid. But she couldn't help but think that there was a little something more than friendship. She brushed it off and continued to pour chemicals.

Tadashi blew the metallic dust off of the sheet metal. He then snuck behind Wasabi's back (He was too busy fighting) and quietly took a handsaw.


"Wow. Just wow. I suppose even a gift from a certain someone couldn't beat that..."

Honey continued pouring chemicals together to notice what Tadashi was doing, though she did take a brief glace over towards Gogo and Wasabi, who where both locked in combat. She laughed and poured another chemical, causing it to bubble over and burn her hand. She let out a hissing noise as she put the beaker down, and ran her hand under cold water.

Tadashi was still sawing through the metal when he heard Honey Lemon's cat-like hiss.


"Well then, Is everything all right back there or are you just watching cat videos again?" Tadashi said without breaking focus from his cutting.

Honey let out a short laugh before another hiss came out of her mouth. "Just a bit of a chemical burn." She said.

"Chemical burn?"


Tadashi turned off his electric saw and placed it on the table. He went over to where Honey Lemon was working. He took her hand and examined it.


"No gloves? C'mon Lemon I know you got more in your noggin than that.", Lightly tapping her head with his finger.

Honey sighed. "Well I didn't think the chemicals would react so violently." She said, getting out a first aid kit. She tried opening it with one hand, but failed miserably. She let out a groan and smacked her head against the box in frustration.

There was a loud crash in Tadashi's office. A large silhouette moved around and slowly headed for the door. As the handle turned, it was revealed to be...Baymax?


Except he had gotten stuck inside the doorframe. Tadashi let out a sheepish grin as Baymax deflated and reinflated.


"I'm still trying to work out some of his kinks. He's never treated chemical burns before so this will be a learning experience." Tadashi said cheerfully.


Baymax slowly stepped forward towards Honey Lemon.


"On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?"
