Yes simota is the meeting place! Then once most have gathered it’s into an adventure!

Sorry it had slipped my mind! Works been a pain today. However an very animal like character won’t fit as well in this. You could go with the vashia like squirrel?

Personality yes is fine, but could you just to a brief back story? If they have family left where they were born and why they have come to apply?

The Shining Man If you don't mind me asking, I found a particular section of Norwood a bit odd:

--They ran after the beast, in they're pursuit a branch broke supporting Norwood. He fell far breaking bones, before his neck broke at the bottom. Just as the the sun falls at night, it rises again and so did Norwood. So is The glory of their Sun.

Since the Norwood kept a history of his events. He was there when the first civilized nations found them, he was apart of the first entourage to Simtota. Norwood traveled the world form, desert to snow caped mountains. He fought wars in the sweltering woods of his tribe, or on the rock plains of rival nobles. He's died many time foolishly and honorable. He has touched many peoples lives, met many friends, and he hopes have helped bring some good to many of the places he's traveled.

Does this essentially mean Norwood is immortal?

Very technically, his people let them be reborn when they die. However as if the description of the Foln there are many ways they can die permanently. It’s really a gem in the back of their skull that gets planted in the ground when they die. From that they can live again. So if that jewel is damaged somehow, like from battle, getting cracked from an accident. Or if it never reaches the ground, that kinda thing. They can’t be reborn, so they die for good.
So yes and no, they can keep living until something happens to their gem.

And when they're reborn, they recall everything? All the experience they've accumulated, their memories, their skill? They don't reset to zero?

Kind of throws the entire thing off-balance. As said in their lore, they literally had the time to master everything and even death is just a minor setback until they're reborn again. They don't seem to have any of the inherent weaknesses of the other races. You could at least give something that balances it all out like losing their collected memories when they die or something. Otherwise they're literally gods among men.

I was inspired off a race in a book I read, but if it feels to op, I can work something in. I find them to be kid of like elves, they are nigh immortal to age. Because of that they are often masters at many things. Same here, mine just dies at age 90 and is born again.
