BLACKJACK!
"Three hundered-thousand years ago, a war waged on more terrible than any before it. The war itself had been going on for many years, and had caused a great deal of death and destruction. The cause of such bloodshed were three brothers; Vahren, Serehen and Karahen, each uniquely carrying a precious gift- a mutation which was to bring magic into the world. However, the brothers were spiteful, selfish and wanted to keep this mutation for themselves. Infused with power, they battled on for centuries, only tiring when the many, many years of battle began to take their toll. One of the brothers, Vahren, had a beautiful wife; his final, most pure wife, Andromeda. The woman, tried of all the fighting, offered a truce on behalf of her husband- all mutation that they were carrying were to be handed to her, for safe keeping. In return for their safety, the brothers agreed to stop fighting.
For thirty years, there was peace. The land was able to rejuvenate itself. The families were able to conceive without the worry of conscription being forced upon their sons. Life was beautiful at long last. But The eldest of the three brothers, Kaharen, still wanted the mutations for himself. He claimed Andromeda was a witch, that she had bewitched him and cheated him out of what was rightfully his. In the dead of night, he crept into his brother's homestead and slit her throat.
Outraged, Vahren waged a new war, vowing to take down his eldest brother and take his lands, reclaiming them in honor of his virgin wife. Just as he planned to take his brother's kingdom, a white light shone from the stars, telling him to stay his hand. When the light faded, his wife's body had disappeared, and in it's stead, there She was. The mutations had protected Andromeda's soul, ascending it as she died in his arms. Andromeda was his wife no longer. She had become a goddess over all things. For the final battle, Andromeda gifted powers to every member of Vahren's army, including the middle brother, Serehan, and together they took down the tyrannical Kaharen.
Since then, there has been everlasting piece. New races have arisen from the ashes of their forefathers and have created a new life for themselves. A new province was formed to unite all of these people together, Maucah, and a University dedicated to teaching its students how to control each of their unique abilities.
Still to this day, there are forces that wish to usurp this peace and threaten the balance that Andromeda fought so hard to protect, and now, while students of the university are stirring in their beds to prepare for the beginning of their education...
...A much, much older enemy is stirring in his grave.
And until he does, the only thing we can do is stand together, because through Andromeda and in the land itself, We Are Connected."
This is an interest check for all of those who like fantasy and stuff. I'm currently doing a roleplay with someone else as well, but that's a one on one xD This is by far one of the bigger projects I could potentially be working on, along with All that is Left, as it has an entire continent worth of map to draw up and character sprites and the like. (I am taking no chances with this one. You make your own sprites if you can, or I'm making them in kisekae.) Basically, I tried to start this one in flight rising some time ago, but it sort of flopped, not to mention I didn't have my tablet then. But now~!
The rules:
*You make your own character. No steals.
*No Mary Sues. (like, mixes of cats and elves and stuff. I don't want that.)
*You have to draw your own sprite. If you are uncomfortable with making your own sprite, I will be too lazy to draw it and make it in a game instead.
*You may only have three characters at one time. Any more is impossible to work with.
*Your character must reside somewhere inside the province, or they can't be included in the story. (The story takes place IN Maucah!)
*Don't send hate to one another. We are a nice roleplay... with deaths and stuffs.
*Oh yeah. If your character dies (aka, you kill it off for dramatic effect) You can't bring that character back. Yeah, the main antagonist is coming back but there'll be an explanation for that later.
*No pornographic content. If you're going to post things like that, this isn't the rp for you. However, gore may be allowed. Maybe.
