Chester shrugs as he takes a sip of his tea. "Anyone who's not nice to you, should be terrorize by an pig in my opinion." He jokes as he looks at her. He loved this, just talking with her. Who knew that this could be so easy to do with someone. Who knew that becoming friends was so easy, but again not everyone was Dakota. The girl who would give him a chance like this. "Toodles doesn't get along with your brother, wow." He said with a laugh as he looks at her. "Maybe they are both trying to get your attention and don't like fighting over it?" He adds with a grin. He takes another sip of his tea, letting the warmest come over him as he looks out at the window looking at all the people all around as he comes back to the converstation at hand.
"It's not that I think highly of you, which I do but it's because despite all of your flaws, you still stand up and make your voice heard." Chester states with a smile. "You stand up for a pig against someone that you thought cared about you. You come in and get your brother books even though he can probably get them himself. You let someone who you have never truly talk to, take you out for lunch even though he's a stranger. " He said with a smile with an shake of his head. "Everyone has flaws Dakota, I do and I haven't truly taken the time to talk through them or even mention them to anyone but you despite your flaws, do things that not everyone would do because you care and are kind." He tells her with an smile on his face. Looking at the window, he adds on. "You have flaws yes, but they don't shine above the fact that you are one of the most wonderful people I have met, and that I'm glad that you decided to be my friend."
"I'm hoping to actually buy that one. I've been saving up for it. Ramen noodles has become my best friend with how my pantry is always filled with them as they are so cheap." Chester said with a blush on his face. "I do run it, I get the books, I pay the bills, and I basically just do what an owner does without the title. I don't know the last time, I seen him actually. I just send him checks in the mail and he pays me via direct deposit." He said with an frown. The owner who was an nice man, basically just gave him the keys and said good luck. Without the fact he does call from time to time, he would think he just said fuck you to the place that has become Chester's favorite place in the world. "Y-y-you want to be my first customer?" He stutters out with wide eyes. "I mean, it could take years to do, even if I possiblity could."
The way she was smiling at him, was making his heart skip a beat. Did he even have an heart anymore, the way this converstation was flowing, his heart was just beating right now of his chest so fast that he couldn't even feel it. It was like every time she smiled at him, his heart was just reminding him that it was still there just going way to fast that he couldn't even feel it. "Me too, books saved my life and keep saving my life all the time." He shook his head "All you need is a little imagination. Trust me, we could find a dragon. " He adds with a grin on his face as he smiled right back at her.
"But for right now, I'll take that deal of yours."
