I get out of school at 3:16. At 3:30 I go to work. I'm usually done by 5:30. At 6, I've been hanging out at the fire station till 8:30 or 9. Then I have homework, etc.

Yup, and yeah it's been pretty neat. The firefighters in my town are all EMTs so most of the calls are medical.

Nope. They get paid, but since it's small, all the firefighters double as EMTs or paramedics.
