Madeline was back at the rebel base. She had been on her own staying at a small cabin near the camp but her sister didn't want her to be alone. Beatrice had bardged in and pulled her out and to the base. She told her that the Warriors had attacked Eriana's village. That was probably a very bad idea, Madeline's heart went out to the villagers. She wanted to be useful, she wanted to help the villagers but she still didn't trust the rebels. 'I'm not going to just sit here! I have to do something!' She went to her sisters room to put on her armor but then she remembered she left it at her home. She huffed, the only thing that was here was her sister huge breastplates! She did still have her fire powers, so that should be good enough. Madeline set out to be useful!! She just hoped she didn't run into anyone too bad.

Madeline had been walking for a long time, she was lost. Boy was she lost! Beatrice was usually the one who knew how to maneuver around the forest, without her Madeline had no clue where she was. It was also pretty hard to walk in the woods with a dress on.


As she wandered around the forest, Madeline suddenly heard some noises so like the curious idiot she was, she decided to investigate. She made sure that her shield was strapped to her back and her sword was at her side. Then she found it, or him, she found Nilix. "Woah...what is this?" She kept her distance, not knowing what this guy was capable of.

Nilix growled down at Madeline, darkness surging around the chained monster. He roared loudly at her, the bellow echoing through the forest. 'I am Nilix the Harbinger of Anarchy.' A voice spoke inside of Madeline's head. Nilix attempt to charge and smash the girl, but was held back by the chains. He roared in frustration, jerking against the chains once more before stopping and just glaring. The obelisk behind him that he was chained to was glowing, the inscriptions changing into a language Madeline could understand.

So much havoc is going on in one area....


Sierra sighed as she sat upon a tree branch and watched the fight with Eriana carefully. Then over to her right her shadows picked up the interaction between fellow faction member Madeline and a monster like being that had engulfed her shadows with its own shadows.


What's a spy doing in the middle of all this anyway? I should be going to work...


She smirked as she engulfed herself in flames again and sought out the man who sent the arrows flying towards them in the first place. She picked up his scent in the village and noticed him standing amongst the rubble where Eriana had been earlier. She appeared as a shadow behind him then dispersed the light particles from around him, making the area appear darker than usual before she made her presence known to him. "You're an odd one. What's a member of the Warrior's Wrath doing in this desolate village?" She called out to him as she twirled a poisoned needle around.

(Ha back xD ) Eriana watches them fight Nightmare and sighs. This is so useless.. The warriors still havent came, members from my faction are needlessly fighting, and there is still those weird dark energy surges over cryo forest... Times like this are just boring and frustrating.. She thought and sighs again.

The white haired kid had decided to go for a walk into the Cryo forest to clear their mind from all that had happened today before going back to fight even more. They too had heard the growling noise coming from afar and being the ditsy hero they were, decided to go investigate. Their hand was clenching tightly to their dagger, slightly trembling as they went closer and closer to the source of the sound. Finally they were close enough to see exactly was going on, a young woman was near a man, the apparent source of the sound. They quickly hid behind a bush, observing the event, the man tried to charge at her, but was fortunately bound by chains. The thought of watching someone getting potentially hurt without their interference was bothersome and it became obvious what they must do. They quickly dashed in front of the woman, holding a dagger. "What are you doing to her?!?!"

Madeline gasped when she heard the voice in her head. 'What..how?' She stared at him wide eyed for a minute. She was startled when he tried to charge at her, she fell back with a yelp. "W-wait! Don't get too close!" She grabbed the child's shoulder and pulled him back with her.


Little did any of the people know, Beatrice had followed Madeline the whole way here. She calmly walked past her sister and the other, she silently stared at Nilix. 'Why is he here?' She turned back to the others. "Madeline, you shouldn't have left. And you." She pointed at website haired kid, "should not be here. It's dangerous for both of you." Madeline studied the chained person. "Now what do we do with him?

Eriana soon grows bored, "i will return once the warriors attack. Im getting anxious and that doesnt help me think." She said to any of the members of her faction that heard her. She also knew Sierra would send her a shadow message if need be. She really wanted to check out what the dark energy was inside Cryo Forest. Eriana's curiousity could be the death of her. Her decision Wasnt the beat either but she is only 16 and to be leading a whole faction took a lot of responsibility that she only barely had.

"Ok just need an answer about the hiring and as usual I will be you bodyguard/Assassin ." He smiled as he started to cut at the shadows with strong and sharp wind.

"Fine.. Your hired." She says. Eriana needed all the help she could get and at this point she just wanted to do something. She was quite childish when it came to her attention span and how long she could wait in one area with nothing to do. Most knew about that since she has always had issues with it.

Nilix snarled and slammed his fists onto the ground as he tried to destroy the three. He roared loudly and breathed flames more intense than anything they have ever seen. The flame stopped short about three feet from them, the obelisk glowing as the magic stopped him from being able to hurt them. The words glowed on the side of the obelisk. Nilix simply glared at the three with a rage and blood lust in his eyes. It was obvious he would do anything he could to kill them the first chance he got.

"Ok good." He sent a dove to the others and they set up the secret ambush as they where the best at it.

Eriana nods and teleports to a shadow in Cryo Forest. With not weapons drawn or any emotion on her face she walks through the forest hoping to find what caused that explosion in the air.

Nilix released another bellow, the obelisk glowing brightly. The Cryo forest echoed with his roar, flames surging on him as he waited in frustration and anger for the strangers to do something.

Francis felt the woman pull them back, warning for them not to get too close. They saw another woman appear, supposingly related to the other one. " I suggest we moniter him." The kid commented, staring blankly at the man. He tried to kill them, again, but the three survived by just a hair. "Well, he's chained, we should just stay back a bit and watch." They said, plopping themselves onto the ground, making indents onto a rock with their dagger.

Eriana heard a roar echo through the forest and heads in that direction. Hm wonder what that was.. Well it sounds interesting and im bored at the moment so lets go investigate. She thought and slightly quickened her pace.


After a bit she spots four figures, three of which are standing close together and the other appeared to be chained to an obelisk. She recognized two of them from her faction and continues to approach them.

Sierra's shadows relayed the message to her as she confronted the Wrath member. She wrinkled her nose as to what may have gotten Eriana's curiosity but she knew it was something she didn't want to risk her life for. She summoned a shadow messenger and sent it to Eriana, relaying the message saying "I acknowledge your statement and your circumstances. Does this mean that it's a retreat for now? Or will you explore the depths of Cryo forest further? Also, if you need me, this shadow will tail you wherever you go. Whatever it sees, I see and whatever it hears I can hear too. However, I may be up to something as I will be try to go behind enemy lines like I was trained to. If you need me elsewhere, just tell me."

Eriana's eyes lit with a bit of curiousity as Nilix spoke to them inside their heads. She found it interesting. A slight smile creeps onto her lips. She receives the shadow message from Sierra and replies back, "no we are not retreating. I am simply further exploring Cryo Forest like you said. I appreciate your help and you are always the first person I call on."

They heard the voice ring through their head, it didn't affect the kid to much, since they now stood up and were approaching the man even further. Francis knew the monster was angry, but were also able to see through that, noticing the anxiety and desire for freedom. The kid dropped the knife continuing to walk forward , slightly shaking.

Cameron ran to Cryo Forest, he was also curious about the roaring. He eventually made it and saw Nilix. He looked at him before noticing the obelisk. He walked over to it and began to read it in his head. @Tetro
