Ashpaw lowered her head, not eating, "I was only saying" She mumbled, flattening her ears, "I don't want you to die"


Nightstar huffed, "I tried. I tried at the gathering last night. She hissed in my face"

Moonpool smiled and purred softly. "I know, Ashpaw. I wasn't trying to snap at you. Don't worry, I just have to figure some things out.." Yeah..things...


Ravenfeather frowned, "maybe she is under pressure as well, Nightstar. You have to ask or at least try maybe she wants it to work." She mewed.

Ashpaw nodded, "What type of things?" She asked curiously, tilting her head


Nightstar huffed, "I know but...." he sighed, "Ack!" he muttered, lowering his head

Moonpool ate softly. ";Just a few things that's all. Really nothing."


Ravenfeather frowned slightly. "Then talk to her. Stop her when you see her and actually talk to her. Talk it out."

Ashpaw nodded, deciding not to pry any further into the thoughts of her mentor. If she didn't want to talk about it, then Ashpaw wouldn't ask


Nightstar nodded, "I will."

Moonpool finished her mouse as everyone started waking slowly. "Ready to head out my little apprentice?" She asked with a happy mew.


Ravenfeather stepped out. "Good." She smiled, walking out.

Ashpaw nodded, still settled on Moonpools back, "D-Do you want me to get off?" She asked


Nightstar watched her go, then stamped his paw against the floor in frustration

Moonpool looked at him, sighing softly. "You're are really fine." She smiled at her.


Ravenfeather looked at Falconfeather. "Believe it or not I was right."

Ashpaw nodded, nuzzling into her mentors fur quietly


Falconfeather gave her a surprised look, "You find out who it is?"

Moonpool started into the woods, smiling as she was going to look for herbs.


Ravenfeather shook her fur. "No, just that she's from another clan."

Ashpaw opened her mouth slightly to breathe in the scents of the forest, relying on that and her hearing to find herbs or search for possible attackers


Falconfeather nodded, "He seems less....upset now" He replied, looking to their leader who was gazing about

Moonpool smiled at her, looking around. "whatever you find. We need to stock up on herbs for leafbare because it'll be a long season." She purred.


Ravenfeather nodded, "I told him that he needed to talk to her. That's all you can do. Sometimes you just fall in love with the wrong cat in the wrong clan."

Ashpaw hopped down from her mentors back and slowly moved about, sniffing quietly as she hunted out the herbs they needed


Falconfeather nodded, "Lwts just hope it goes well"

Moonpool watched her, to make sure she found what she had to. But she kept her eyes open for badgers or any other cats.


Ravenfeather nodded, "agreed."

Ashpaw collected herbs in a large leaf, awkwardly holding it in her mouth


Falconfeather nodded, "We need our leader. Not an upset mess"

Moonpool purred a chuckle out. "We can sort everything once we get back. "You ready?"


Ravenfeather sighed. "We can't doanything about that...."

Ashpaw nodded happily, padding back to her mentor.


Falconfeather shrugged, "Lets hope then"

Moonpool purred and started leading them back, but she heard creaking and stopped.


Ravenfeather nodded, "same here."

Ashpaw froze as she heard a creaking, "W-Whats that?" She asked, turning her head toward the noise

Moonpool hissed softly. "I don't know. Ashpaw stay behind me." She said, watching where the noise was coming from.

Ashpaw shook her head quietly, and moved instead to her mentors side, ready to run or push her mentor away if whatever it was attacked

Moonpool picked Ashpaw up, slowly stepping back. Moonpool was hissing, she was trying to keep them safe so she kept moving. "We have to be careful." She murmured.

Ashpaw let her mentor scoop her up, listening in fear

Moonpool stepped back, running back to the open territory and she put Ashpaw down. "Go put those in the den."

Ashpaw nodded, stumbling to their den and placing them down, her small body shaking
