Warrior Cats 1x1 with WolfOfProphecys

Moonpool looked at him, "no. I'm not. I haven't slept hardly eaten a thing and right now I'm debating if I should have came or not and on my apprentice." She forced herself to lay down and she put hers paws over her nose, one on top of the other.

Nightstar sighed, looking at her, "When you get back to your clan, promise me that you'll eat something then go to sleep. I'm sure your apprentice will look after any problems whilst you sleep." He said softly

Moonpool looked at him, "I don't have to promise you anything, Nightstar. This is the first time you've actually talked to me after what happened. That was moons ago, and no she can't. All she does is play around. She needs to be a warriors apprentice, not mine." She slowly got up, her ears shifting back.

Nightstar lowered his head, and growled, "My leader died a few months ago. I've been busy." He grumbled, "I was only worried for you" He growled, then stalked off, most cats staying away from him because of the fire in his eyes

Ashpaw had shakily tried to follow her mentor to the gathering, even though she wasn't allowed. She wanted to apologise for acting like a young cat. She had heard warriors apprentices playing games and having fun together, so why wasn't she allowed to be playful? Why did her mentor seem to hate her?

Moonpool lowered her head in sadness before walking away. She stumbled upon Ashpaw, but that made things even worse. "I told you no." She hissed softly. "You could have gotten hurt! Ashpaw....you can't be a medicine cat. You act like a warrior constantly. You can't play around and when you go against what I say that gets you in more trouble. Medicine cats don't have the same luxury as warriors. You can't ever have kits or a mate, you can't joke around or be a kit or a real apprentice. That time I spent collecting herbs." She picked Ashpaw up and put her on her back. "You aren't meant to be one." She said softly, it didn't hurt as much. Her heart was already hurting. Not just by what she had said. "It's not easy. Trust me...I know..." She followed after Lightstar.

Ashpaw flattened her ears at her mentors words, and struggled away, kicking off of her mentors back, "Why do you hate me so much!?" She sobbed, tears running down her cheeks, "Of course I can't be a Medicine Cat! You don't teach me anything! You just sit around moping!" She hissed, before the blind she-cat stumbled away from them, running deep into the forest. She got far enough before she tripped over something, and curled in a ball, sobbing

Moonpool sighed, "every time I try you want to play." She followed the way Ashpaw had gone, sitting in front of her. "Don't ever use the word hate because I DONT hate you. Every time I try to teach you, you go try and play. You can't Ashpaw! I try and I try all you want to do is play around and you can't!" She picked her back up by her scruff, carrying her. "I don't want you getting attacked out here. Ashpaw, just because you're blind doesn't mean you're stuck being a medicine cat. I have tried teaching you. Why do you think I'm mopping. Because you won't listen. You aren't meant to be a medicine cat. Maybe I'm Not either, but you need to be an apprentice and if you don't like it come back and see me." She stopped finally and put her down, licking her ears gently. "I don't hate you....you haven't ever been in my position before."

Ashpaw flinched from her mentors licking, turning her head away, "If I can't be a Medicine Cat, what use will I be as a warrior" She muttered, lowering her head, "You're the only one who doesn't ignore me, and you're pushing me" She mumbled, "Just like everyone else" She began to pad back toward the forest, away from camp, "Don't follow me. If you don't want me as your apprentice, then I'll have to start to learn to defend myself." She whimpered, then dragged herself off. She did listen to her mentor, always would, but she couldn't really help it if she wanted to have some fun sometimes. It wasn't as if she hadn't tried to become a warrior. She had spent the first moon of her training under the guidance of one of their best warriors, and she had failed to do anything.

Moonpool followed. She hissed, getting in front of Ashpaw. "Ashpaw you're blind you can't go off by yourself!" She picked Ashpaw up. "I know someone who might be able to teach you." She picked her up. "And stop running off. It's like me running from my problems...I had to face them tonight. It hurt, but something I had to do." She put her on her back. "Blin cats can fight you know. When I was a kit I had a friend. He was blind. He was a warrior. He was good at it too. He only died because he died of old age. It's never too late, but you can't keep running off. One day no one will follow you and you'll get yourself killed." She sighed, padding back to the open area where light clan was. "I'll ask Cinderpelt to train you." She walked towards the warriors den. "But no more running off or I'll have to tell Lightstar. You know better."

"You don't understand!" Ashpaw hissed, but not fighting her mentor off, "I don't....I don't want to be a warrior.... I want to be a Medicine Cat. Like you " She mumbled, lowering her head into her mentors fur. Could she really be called her mentor anymore, when Moonpool didn't wish her to be her apprentice?

Moonpool stopped, looking up at her and she turned and walked back to the medicine cat den, sitting Ashpaw down and she sat in front of her. "Ashpaw....listen to me ok?" She laid down and put her head on her paws. "If you want to be my apprentice you can't go against what I say. The stunt you pulled today could have gotten you killed. You're blind, it's a bigger risk...but if you'll start listening I can't really say no. But medicine cats can't play around. We don't have the luxury of doing a lot of things." She sighed, "alright tomorrow we'll go look for herbs. You need to use her nose and taste to figure out which herb is what." She shut her eyes and sighed. "It's getting late. We need to collect enough before leaf bare..."

Ravenfeather sat down as she watched Nightstars den as did Darkclaw, but he was half asleep. "He's in a bad mood. Again." The Tom mewed.

Ashpaw, who by now was crying, looked up toward her mentor, her milky eyes seeming to stare past her, as she quickly nodded, "I-I will Moonpool! I-I promise" She whimpered, laying beside her mentor and pressing her small body against the older cats, closing her eyes as she calmed and placed her head on her paws

Nightstar was grumbling to himself, pacing back and forth in the confines of his den. He had only wanted to help Moonpool, but instead she had snapped at him. He huffed, circling his nest a few times before finally settling

FalconFeather padded up beside Ravenfeather, "That he is" He said softly in agreement

Moonpool purred softly. All of her life she had wanted kittens. But she couldn't with the rules. At least she had Ashpaw...at least. "Good....get some sleep then." She mewed, slowly beginning to fall asleep.

Ravenfeather looked at him, "makes you wonder why. He hasn't been like this before until a few weeks ago. I'm still going with my theory."

Ashpaw nodded, curling close to her mentor and closing her eyes. Her breathing evened out as she fell asleep, snuggled into her mentors pelt contently

FalconFeather sighed, "Maybe. But who would he be interested in?" he asked, "Surely if it was someone in our clan he would of asked them?"

Ravenfeather looked at him. "There are only two females here." She said and her tail around her paws. "Maybe another cat in light clan?" She mewed.

Ravenfeaher looked at him, "maybe we should ask him in the morning?" She asked, raising a slight cat brow. "It wouldn't hurt."

Falconfeather nodded, "Don't be surprised if you're ignored though" He pointed out, looking to the leaders den, before returning to his own

(Sure)

Ashpaw woke quietly, hours before the other cats woke. She padded carefully to the herbs storage and began to sort them, using her nose and paws to figure out what each thing was. She was determined to prove she was capable to her mentor.

Nightstar woke as sun streamed into his eyes, having slept near the entrance of his den, and the leader groaned, twisting onto his back and staring up toward the sky

Moonpool yawned softly, slowly getting up when she heard rustling. She slowly walked back to where the herbs were and she sighed, picking Ashpaw up. "I know you want to prove something, but not yet. We have things to do. Have to go collect herbs. We can sort on a boring day." She purred. "I know it'll be hard though, but don't eat anything either. Death berries are common."

Ravenfeather slowly stretched and went to Nightstar's den, standing at the entrance. "Nightstar you ok? You've been upset for a while and me and the others are worried."

Ashpaw squeaked in surprise as she was scooped up, having been concentrating enough that she hadn't heard her mentors paw steps. She struggled from her grip and shook herself, turning toward her mentor, "I was waiting for you to wake up" She replied, nodding to her mentor. She had almost eaten a death berry before, but luckily she hadn't swallowed it when Moonpool had found her. Since then, she had learnt not to eat anything she found, even if it was to find out what it was.

Nightstar looked up, "I'm fine." He replied, almost too quickly, "Why wouldn't I be?" He asked, his voice having a soft hint of panic

Moonpool smiled, putting Ashpaw on her back and she padded out. "I know. You're really trying hard. But you'll have time to learn. Hopefully I won't die too soon. I at least want to live to be 40 moons. Maybe more." She purred, walking. "Maybe we should wait till everyone is up." She picked up a mouse from the prey pile.

Ravenfeather's eat twitched. "Because I can hear it in your voice and you're rushing to answer my question. Did you meet someone? Is that the problem and because she's in a different clan you think it won't work?"

Ashpaw settled on her mentors back. The apprentice was oddly light, and seemed to like being on Moonpools back, seeing as she didn't have to worry about tripping, "You won't die yet. You're too stubborn" She replied, with a slight giggle

Nightstar looked at her, "It wouldn't work. She hates me currently" He grumbled, then seemed to freeze when he realised he had spoken aloud

Moonpool sighed softly and she shook her head slightly. "Stubborn or not there is always a good chance of death, Ashpaw. It's apart of life and there is nothing to do to stop death." She quietly ate..

Ravenfeather looked at him. "Have you tried making it work? I didn't think so! You're supposed to talk to her so she knows. You kind of have to try, Nightstar.."
