Moonpool placed her head on her paws. She had been like that for the last few hours. Sleeping. She kept having the same nightmare every night about Darkstar. It never was over. She felt awful somedays about what had happened to them. She was a medicine cat. It was against the rules for her to be in love. When she had been a med apprentice she never thought much of it, but then her mentor died and she finally realized. Moonpool slowly got out an walked out of the den. She needed something to keep her mind off of things... Lightstar padded over to her. "Well then we need to head out for the gathering soon.. Look for prey. When leaf bare gets here it'll get worse."


Darkclaw threw his mouse into the pile and padded away. They had enough prey. Especially for a little clan. They were all kind of small. Darkclaw mewed and stretched. He was going to go talk to his sister. See what she caught.

Nightstar was settled outside his den in a shadow, which had been casted by said den. He was thinking to himself, sighing softly. He gazed around, knowing that the cats going to the Gathering were preparing, and that he should likely join them, but he was caught in his thoughts like a twoleg in a burning nest. He huffed, standing and stretching his small body


FalconFeather was quietly sorting his herbs, thinking quietly. Tonight was the gathering, and he'd have to likely speak to the other Medicine Cat to make sure he was aware of everything.


Ashpaw snuck up on her mentor, the blind she-cat pouncing and somehow managing to land on top of Moonpool

(Awesome. I'll probably create more when I get my keyboard for my tablet. Moonpool isn't allowed to die xD we are being over run by she-cats xD in light clan. I'll probably make a few more too.(


Moonpool pushed Ashpaw off gently. "Ashpaw. Don't do that, you're a medicine apprentice. You're serious you don't joke around." She said and looked at Lightstar. "Stressed out much?" Lightstar walked beside Moonpool. "That's not even the right word." She mewed quietly. Nightstar was the least of her worries or shouldn't be.


Ravenfeather stretched and walked to Falconfeather. "Ready to head out? " she mewed softly with a purr. Her tail flicked. "Seems like Nightstar is a bit stressed out."

Ashpaw scampered off, flattening her ears. She lowered her head, mewling a soft apology, and backing up when she heard Lightstar, unsure if she was allowed to go to the gathering. She made a sad noise, not liking it when her mentor told her off for doing something that she had never been able to do with the other kits or apprentices.


Falconfeather looked up at RavenFeather and nodded, looking over to their leader, "He always seems to be like this at gatherings. I think he's afraid that Lightclan will attack us or something" He replied, finishing the herbs before padding out of his den

Moonpool looked back at Ashpaw. "You're too young to go still so you're going to stay back. Give it a few more moons." She mewed, walking beside Lightstar. All of the warriors other than one were going. Riverpelt had agreed to stay back while Cinderpelt was going.


Ravenfeather sat down and watched him, her ears flicking. "I doubt they'd do that. I think it's something else, something more serious. Maybe he met a she-cat." Her left paw reached up and brushed her ear.

Ashpaw lowered her head. She knew that wasn't it. She was 9 moons old now, three moons having been Moonpools apprentice. She huffed, but nodded, and padded shakily to her nest, curling up and closing her blind eyes.


Snowpaw darted to her mentor, icy eyes gleaming. She had been allowed to the gathering, and was excited, even though she had been before.


FalconFeather shrugged, "I doubt it. Its him after all" He replied, watching as Nightstar stood, calling out that it was time to leave

Lightstar looked at Moonpool and then down at Snowpaw with a smile. "Let's go then." She stretched, mewing for everyone to follow her to the gathering. Moonpool would slowly follow. She hadn't talked to Nightstar since it all happened. She regretted not.


Ravenfeather shook her fur. "Doesn't mean he didn't mean someone." She picked herself up and followed Nightstar.

FalconFeather sighed, "I suppose." he replied, following after her quietly. He wasn't looking forward to the gathering at all, and limped heavily on his twisted leg.


Nightstar didn't speak, padding along at a quick pace

Lightstar led her clan to the gathering and she sat down on a rock and mewed softly to herself. She sat on the rock and quietly watched. Moonpool laid down and put her paws over her face.

Nightstar slowed as they reached the gathering, and padded to the rock, leaping up beside Lightstar, greeting the older leader quietly, sitting beside her, yet not too close.


Snowpaw sat at the bottom of the rock, gazing up at her mentor

Lightstar looked at him, "you seem distant." She said, her tail curling around her paws. "Not the first cat though." She looked at the little amount of cats.

Nightstar sighed, "Was just thinking." He replied. He'd had only been the leader for a few moons, and felt inferior to Lightstar

Lightstar nodded, "makes sense. So want me to start this or do you want to?" She asked, her tail softly swaying at her feet. Moonpool watched Nightstar. She was behind a few warriors.

"You start..." Nightstar replied quietly, looking up at the bigger cat and sighing

Lightstar stood up to her feet, letting out a loud mew to get everyone's attention. "We are here to talk about the clans. Light clan has nothing awful to report so I would say we're good to go. But leafbare is coming soon and sometbing awful is bound to happen."

Nightstar nodded, and spoke up, "Darkclan has been doing well also." He told them, his voice not sounding entirely certain of his words, "Even with the passing of our previous leader, Darkstar, we have managed to collect a lot of prey and herbs for any emergencies" He ended, looking back to Lightstar

Lightstar nodded slowly, "my warriors spotted new cats. As long as they don't cause problems I don't think we'll have a problem." She mewed, jumping down. "All I have to say. Everything seems to be going well as of right now."

Nightstar followed her down, sighing softly, "I hope this Leafbare isn't too bad....I don't think our clans can handle loosing anyone else" He said softly to Lightstar, before melting into the crowd of cats

Lightstar watched him, her ears flicking. "I couldn't agree more." She murmured softly. Moonpool watched Nightstar. Might as well keep an eye on him why not? She sighed and slowly got up, stretching her legs.

Nightstar casually padded toward Moonpool, sitting quietly beside her as if watching his clan.

Moonpool looked at him, sitting back down. She brushed her ears with her paw and looked down. "How've you been?"

Nightstar looked at her and gave a small smile, "Fine" He replied softly, "A bit...stressed about being a leader...." He continued quietly

Moonpool looked down at her paws. No, she didn't want to talk about what happened, but she figured she would have to one day. "Always a price of being leader. Always makes you stressed."

Nightstar gave a soft chuckle, "I suppose" he replied, looking to her, "You ok?" He asked softly, golden eyes clearly worried, tilting his head. Something seemed wrong, and no one could tell him off for simply checking she was ok
