She would not preach, but she would not cover her religion either. She respects him due to age and due to his abilities. She might let him have a small look at her equipment, even. Maybe. Depends.

Sun very much doesn't mind other people having religions, he personally doesn't believe in many of the newer ones as he has watched them rise. If she let him have a look, then they'd likely get on very well with him counting her as an ally in court.

Michael would probably respect Sun as a person, but since they're on opposite sides, he has to fight him. Regretfully, of course.

I mean Sun's View on this entire war is regretful, he quite liked the young Queen and even several of the defected Lords, but he's stuck here on this side

It depends on how he acts towards her if she lets him have a look.

I don't think Abysswalkers are that new. I would assume the occurance where the abyss was sealed/sacrificed itself was long ago, predating even sun. So the religion would be pretty old too. But it was kept in the underground for long, simply because the abyss was seen as evil by most and therefore the Abysswalkers were seen as evil cultists. Only recently did they become somewhat more official.

What would Michael thing of Sun? any thoughts on the others?

What about the King and Rose?
Darius only sees Rose as a weapon, pretty much

What a tragedy: two men with similar goals trapped in opposite sides because of loyalties.

Would he have her sing to him? She sings quite beautiful.
Probably, yeah. His mental state is pretty bad, and he needs some relaxation.

Maybe that's how they got to know each other, he got to see the immortal warrior first hand, saving him. And out of curiosity, he asked about her abilities and she explained...
Especially depending how this immortality was demonstrated like if he watched her get riddled with arrows or hacked in two.

Abysswalker songs are not always that relaxing, but her voice makes it very nice to listen to

And here she is choosing the soldiers life.
What a brave girl, almost admirable.

I mean he would probably examine the blade with a crafters eye and then ask if she would mind if he cast a diagnostic spell over it.

Fair if it's that old then he probably respects it as a religion but believes that the abyss is not actually a god but it is definitely some sort of greater being, which is sort of what a god is. He does recognise that this is a bit hypocrytical

She wants to prevent others from suffering, she does enough of it herself.

From straight up asking it's probably a no, since it's a treasure of her religion

I’m just gonna put it out here that I’m doing most of my relationship plotting through pm, mainly because I like having plenty of little secret details to come out in the rp. If you think your character has backstory with Mabynn, let me know and I’ll PM you and we can chat— even if they just met like once or twice when she was still Princess.

I mean I guess she may have met Ravire since he was a Notable Duke's son to after all.

Fair enough, He would accept that. He's old enough to know that knowledge will eventually be exposed.

Anything particular in the crafting that he might notice? Metals, age, signs of use?

Do you think they’ve had any one on one interactions?
Could of depends on if her parents took her to meet her father or if her parents allowed or let her meet with him during his few palace visits. Also depends on the age she lost her claims at.

The metal seems to be a mixture of steel with an unknown material. It seems in mint condition, even though it is quite old. A skilled mage can probably feel the unique enchantments on it.

Same goes for the armour.

The way they were forged seems new as well, but details can't be seen with bare eye.

I'm assuming that the unknown material must be very unique to the Abyss Walkers for Sun to not recognise it. Also I assume that the feel of unique enchantments would be a general they exist rather than what they do exactly?

Sun with Tithys? maybe @First Rose
As he's on the Loyalist side, Tithys would automatically see him as a threat especially since he witnessed the split of the kingdom. Though their relationship also depends on how they could have possibly knew each other before the civil war. I can see Tithys using Sun's expertise in forgery although.

Sun with Gortho @First Rose I think that he's going to be a little on edge by how close she seems to have suddenly got to the king but also she might be useful to get the queen on the throne?

Indeed, Gortho doesn't hide her mischief, but she makes it incredibly hard to be caught. Depending on what can be gained, she'd be able to get Mabynn on the throne pretty fashionably.
