Frank finished his cigarette, looked around for a nearby ashtray, found none, and sighed.
“I don’t have a phone.” He said plainly. “I’ll pick one up later.” He smiled at Selena. “Don’t worry, it's the French Quarter. Drunks and tourists are about all that's here, and the residents that do live here wont care about this old place.” He paused. “Not that I’m suggesting we linger any longer than we have to.”
He took a few moments to examine the picture of their target. A bald man with a spider tattoo on his head? Oh yeah, that was going to be a real challenge. It’d be harder to find a priest in Vatican City; this guy screamed criminal.
Frank rubs the back of his head. “I need to pick some things up.” Like a glass of something strong. He looked around. “Where do we meet up?” Frank quickly ran over a list in his head of all the things he needed to buy. There was a few hours od daylight left, enough to grab the basics of what he needed. He also needed to find a motel. Or bed with one of the women. He laughed internally at the absurdity of his own thought process.
