Dai Sung
Dai followed him inside as walked to the island of the kitchen. At the mention of sitting and offering water her body tensed up. Memories from last time started to flood in and she pinched the inside of her hand to try and make it stop.
"Ah.. no its okay I'll stand.. just in case" she admitted while thinking of she sat down that would be more of an invitation for her to stay and it didn't seem like he wanted that, but then again everytime she assumed something about him it was wrong.
Her mind was made up now. He was here in front of her, he let her in and now the least she could do is tell him what was on her mind.
"I don't want water.. what I want is for you to tell me how you feel. I realized after I left that I might have misunderstood your intentions. Your..words.. or maybe I'm just holding on to hope, but right now I don't care I just-" she paused as her voice cracked. The lump in her throat was prominent, but she took a deep, shaky breath to continue.
"-I just want you to be honest with me. I wanted you to stop me from leaving, chase after me, but then I realized slowly that you're not that kind of man. That's why I'm here. If you tell me to leave I'll leave and I won't disrupt you anymore.. you can go back to work and not have to think about me just like you have been." Dai exclaimed while her hands rested on the cool countertop, hoping it would help ease her nerves instead of pinching her skin red. Her brown eyes didn't even look away from him since she stepped inside as she didn't know if this would really be the last time.
I don't want you to let me leave like last time, but if I have to I will..I'll suck it up. I've lost you once and I don't know how ill be if I lose you again. It's something I don't want to think about, but also it's something I can't avoid anymore.
"Also I..I hated how you made me feel, but I could never hate you..never. I need you to know that.." she admitted. Of course she didn't hate him. If she did die wouldn't be here. Dai waited patiently to see if he'd respond to her words. To see what really was in that mind of his.
