Katja had let Glaz go off by himself, walking slowly behind him as he advanced. So it really had been because of her sister. They most be close. Katja didn’t know why she wasn’t sprinting to the place her sister were staying, but for some reason she hesitated. She wanted to grab onto the girl and spin her around, and run away with her. Yet, she was also a bit wary of facing her after so long. She was practically looking like a walking savage covered in blood and guts.
So as they reached the gas-station she had simply walked to the window and slowly glanced inside. It had been quite the sweet reunion she witnessed. Her breath caught a little as she finally saw her sister, safe. She had grown since last time, but still looked like the Kit she knew.
She decided to wait. She wanted to get clean and met her properly tomorrow, even if she could barely wait. As they started treating the Russian she could hear his pained yells. He probably hadn’t mentioned her yet, since he didn’t know they were siblings.
She made her way toward a stream close by and splashed some water in her face.
