Name: Kay Amegonan
Alias: Persona
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Haitian American, shaved head. Brown eyes. he typically wears jeans, button up shirts with the sleeves rolled up. 6'4
Costume*:
Side: generally good (Ambiguous Morals)
Bio*:
Born north of MegaMetro, Kay was always a peculiar kid. As a child, he was not very popular with other children, with them bullying him because of how different he was from them. He held a bright curiosity and an above average intelligence, he also was said to be sensitive to certain situations and caring, with an alarming amount of morbidity in his responses, and conversations with others after a series of family members had died. He often lorded his good grades and good standing with the teacher over the other kids and boasted about how tough he was, though several scuffles with other children proved this not to be so. One day though, he looked around and could see that he had no friends and a deep desperation set out on the child. He tried to play with the other kids but, despite this, he had already ruined his good standing with them, and it wasn't until Kay moved to MegaMetro that he made an oath to be loved by everyone, no matter what, and if someone got in his way, he'd make sure to ruin their standing.

These words proved prophetic when he entered the school, acting childish and generally, acting a bit sperratic. He thought this was enough and he was popular for a time. But after a while, when he was in the 7th grade, he couldn't say he enjoyed this game anymore. The persona had genuinely ruined many relationships and made others believed he was weaker and stupider than them. Eager to regain respect, he attempted to break from this personality. But it would not budge. Even as he tried to suppress it, it would not. It was as if he was a prisoner in his own body, watching himself make blunder after blunder. It got worse as the persona began to run like markers, becoming distorted and hideous, insensitive, and stupid.

Struggling to wrestle it off, he began to argue with himself, saying he needed to break free, no one respected him. And what he saw as friendly gestures became signs of disrespect, disrespect turned to disgust, and disgust became hate. By Freshman year, he was a mess, looking around, suspicious of everyone. And ironically, the thing that made everyone disrespect him was this new personality.

Sophmore year, he broke someway free from the persona of that silly kid. And his charisma was incredible, charming his classmates, and showing for the first time Kay had used his Superficial Charm when he managed to charm a teacher into raising his grade. Despite this, his charisma could not make up for the gap that had formed in the wake of his freshman year and without any real personality traits except for charisma, his personality collapsed, leaving him devoid of barely any traits, except for the ones he'd had as a child. He bceame a recluse, and found himself the target of many bullies. Eager to break from this, he began to do research, watching people react to his actions, to see what people responded best to.

Power(s): Superficial Persuasion: Highly charismatic, Kay has always been able charm people into doing what he wants. While it does allow him to make someone highly suggestive to Kay, passively, it allows him to be liked by many. However, passively, this is a double edged sword, as Kay is forced to play a part and if he breaks character, the charm is broken. The only way to reactivate the Charm on people who already have see his double nature is to gradually regain the trust of the people he charmed, or to be forgotten by them. As well, those who may see his break character and sift to and from personality types might grow to dislike him. He also has the ability to charm himself to believe what he is saying if he is not careful with separating his 'characters' and himself

Perception: Kay is able to pick up on context clues others might not notice to find out the details of a person. This allows him to find more in depth details to charm people with and create a false feeling of closeness.

Paralyzing Fear: Kay is able to channel the fear of people to enhance his powers in order to form what appears to be ice, but in fact is a manifestation of that fear. The more scared someone is, the more effective the power is.

Prime Guardian
guardianprime_by_captain_gamma_by_jide_martin_by_captain_gamma-d9sz4de.jpg
Real Name: Elijah Andrews Harrison

Age: 18

Weight: 200 lbs

Height: 6'5"

Eyes: Light Brown

Hair: Black

Identity: Publicly known

Occupation: Student-athlete, adventurer

Marital Status: Presumed single

History/Background: Elijah Harrison was born and raised in a dense urban area of MegaMetro with his mother and father the former Prime Guardian and one of the heroes defending MegaMetro, along with his younger sister. Elijah was always known as an overachiever--and was always getting exceptional grades academically, and was highly gifted athletically. Having such an amazing artistry in sports, and getting good grades, he was extremely popular and known around everyone.

One afternoon he discovered his abnormal powers exactly like his fathers while he was competing for the football state championship, and was surprisingly shocked by his own display of outstanding athleticism and so was everyone witnessing. Elijah instantly left the scene, and was running towards a speeding car and leaped upwards to the sky about 40 feet into the air for safety, and was levitating. He'd hesitantly land himself back on the ground and was still confused about how he attained these amazing abilities, to his open curiosity he'd test his strength by lifting an estimated 13,000-pound parked truck with a moderate amount of effort. To his growing surprise, he realized that he most certainly wasn't human and was an Envoy just like his father.

He went home late in the evening, where his parents were waiting for him and have already heard of the event that occurred at the game. They told him the truth about his astonishing powers, and that his time was now to take his father's place and become the next Prime Guardian to fight for and defend the people who cannot defend themselves.

Abilities: Prime Guardian has athleticism superior to any Olympic gold medalist athlete, and is a proficient combatant, mastering American-style boxing, freestyle wrestling, sambo and krav maga. He also shows some demonstrative skill and knowledge of a decent number of different martial arts. Additionally, he is able to execute complex gymnastic techniques with a minimal amount of effort, and engages in intensive and rigorous exercise.

Power(s): Prime Guardian's cellular structure is more dense, resilient and biologically more effective than an ordinary human beings tissue. He can sustain numerous blows of internal or external assaults, but he can only take so much damage before it finally takes an effect on him. He also possesses virtual immunity to toxins, poisons, alcohol, venoms, viruses, bacteria, allergies, and most drugs, as well as an enhanced resistance to diseases/illness. With a shockingly advanced immune system, he maintains youthful vigor and slowing in his aging process. Prime Guardian also affords the unique ability to fly under the Earth's gravity and is capable of flying at Mach 6.70 (about 7,200 km/h) in the atmosphere. Prime Guardian also has supernatural strength and can lift up to 40 tons (80,000 lbs) optimally with moderate effort, but when he lifts with a supreme amount of effort he can lift up to about 60 tons (120,000 lbs) but lifting that amount of weight will greatly tire and weaken him. His agility, resiliency, and reflexes are similarly enhanced, and in addition, he possesses remarkably acute senses. Although, he is highly vulnerable to psionic, few elemental, and magical effects.

Paraphernalia and Weaponry: Has a high-quality wireless radio earpiece inserted into the outer opening of his right-ear to keep communications to his sole source of Intel, "Death Star".

Note: When Prime Guardian is going to the fullest extent of his power or enraged, his eyes will glow a bright vivid viridescent color. Greatly triggering an amazing increase in his supernatural physical strength, stamina, durability, and speed. However, this could cause severe health complications after from exerting or overusing this empowerment. As doing so will cause him to be incapacitated, applied with muscle weakness and intense muscle soreness, and a sense of enervation.

I think this character is a little too powerful for the purposes of this RP, as he can easily squash anyone who doesn't have regeneration/enhanced durability. Also, putting all his powers out in a list it'll end up like this.

>Enhanced Durability
>Enhanced Strength
>Enhanced Reflexes
>Enhanced Senses
>Enhanced Athleticism
>High-Speed Flight

But DailyRoLord DailyRoLord has the final say.

I don't consider my character too powerful to easily squash anyone, nor did I purposely intend to make him seem godly. Sorry about making you feel that way about him though...

I do think the character is extremely powerful, R Rizzy . However, you can balance your powers with a lack of other elements, such as plot protection. Alternatively, you could cut down your powers. When you decide and do one of those options, I’ll accept you.

R Rizzy , I’m gonna accept you. However, I do expect less plot protection (i.e., your character might get hurt more often) or maybe a cooldown for your powers. Basically, I want to see balance. Since you have a lot of powers, cut down on the other elements. I’ll be keeping a watch on your powers, but I’m 99.99% positive that you know the deal. ;)

Accepted! Welcome to MegaMetro, the city of superhumans! Villains & Heroes I: First Struggle: RP Thread

Name: Elias Nathans

Alias: Shade

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance:
661ee1dab53172ad7af47478fd00db70.jpg

Costume*: Elias does not possess a costume, and wears his everyday clothing.

Side: Neutral, will change depending on influence.

Bio: Elias grew up in town about fifty miles away from MegaMetro. Growing up, Elias had an attraction to the dark that always puzzled those around him. He would always have his room pitch black with the curtains closed as much as they could be. He himself had no reason why until one night when he was seventeen. He was walking through a short cut through the town he lived in, which crossed into a bad part of town. An older man, who appeared to be in his late twenties stopped Elias, and attempted to mug him. Elias fought back, and was almost stabbed. He would have been but he awoke to his power and used it to stop the blade from attacking him. After this event he began to experiment with his power and learn its limitations. When he turned nineteen he moved into an apartment inside of MegaMetro as he had gotten a job there, and also wanted to be around more people with abilities.

Powers: Elias has the ability to control, manipulate and produce darkness and shadows. He can use the ability the create any non-complex item he can imagine. Once a day, he can turn himself and two other people into shadows and teleport anywhere in a five mile radius. He can use his power at any time of the day but is stronger in the dark. His items produced have the durability of steel, but if made in complete darkness anything he makes becomes nigh unbreakable. A side-effect of his ability is his ability to see perfectly in complete darkness. Any light superpower hitting his darkness causes the two of them to cancel each other out.

Weapons & Equipment*: A switchblade inside of his coat.

IlluminatiChan IlluminatiChan , I usually don’t decline character sheets for being overpowered, though most people will. Instead, I tell the creator my terms, as I’m about to do with you.

Your character is a bit overpowered. However, there are a couple ways to make this work. First option is to not use Elias' powers to their full extent. Don’t use them as powerful as possible. Second option is to not use them all at once. Maybe you could add a cooldown, or fight with one power at a time. The third option is to keep the powers as is, but balance it out by lessening other elements. These other elements might be plot protection (how easily your character is hurt), power levels (pretty much the first option), luck, endurance, etc. The final option is to simply remove some of Elias’ powers.

You are accepted! Please state which option you want to go with, and then you may start RPing here: Villains & Heroes I: First Struggle: Sign-Up Thread Welcome to MegaMetro, and more importantly, welcome to RPN!!

Well Elias already has a cooldown on one of his two powers. The two being manipulating/producing darkness, and teleport by turning into a shadow. The item creation part comes from being able to manipulate it.

DailyRoLord DailyRoLord , Is it okay for me to make a few adjustments to my character? Not for his powers but for his character. And is it cool if I can make another one? It's not gonna be OP I promise!

Although I may use Korosenai, this one will most likely be my main character here:

Name: Unknown (referred to as Nishiki, like her mech)
Alias: Nishiki
Age: Unknown, young
Gender: Female
Appearance: Actual appearance unknown, because she's always hidden within her robot.
Costume*: A massive robot, about 25 feet tall (Abilities elaborated on in powers). It is painted gold and red. See picture below.
Side: Hero
Bio*: A hero of the masses, the Nishiki has long been an urban legend. A massive robot that saves the lives of those who need it most. Its pilot appears to frequent the slums of Lambourn and the darkest patches of Abingdon. With the rise of Doe, the Nishiki has become more public. It is time for its pilot to save lives from this growing menace.
Power(s): The pilot of the Nishiki's main power is to meld seamlessly with technology. Because of her innate understanding of hardware and software, it was easy for her to create her own robot, which she now wields. This anatomical mind lent itself easily to her robotic form.
The Nishiki is a massive robot with medium armor. It is practically immune to bullets, meaning that explosives, magic, or other forms of attack are necessary to take it down. The Nishiki is reasonably mobile, and can fly. However, the main power of the Nishiki is its abilities. The Nishiki's left hand, which is an enlarged silver claw, is equipped with what the Nishiki's pilot calls "Fukushahado." Upon activation, the claw emits supercharged waves of radiation with the power to twist metal, fry electronics, and melt skin. However, the Fukushahado's radius is restricted to the area around the claw, and needs to recharge. The Nishiki also has a chaff deployer, a small dagger, and a machine gun attached to its left arm. The Nishiki can fire a Slash Harken, a wire which functions as grappling hook, whip, and bolas. It also has a Landspinner Propulsion System, wheels which unfold from the Nishiki's legs and function as giant roller-skates.
Weapon(s) or Equipment(s)*: Giant Nishiki Mech
Other*: Not very much plot armor (shots likely to miss, gets hit more often) because of abilities.

Electric_20Lady_20colors_20tumblr_original.jpg
Real Name: Victoria April Harrison

Age: 16

Weight: 125 lbs ; 250 lbs (armored)

Height: 5'4" ; 5'9" (armored)

Eyes: Amber

Hair: Black

Identity: Secret

Occupation: Student, scientist, information broker, skilled inventor, and engineer.

Marital Status: Single

History/Background: Victoria Harrison was born and raised in a dense urban area of MegaMetro with her parents and alongside with her eldest brother. Victoria was scholastically gifted and demonstrated her mechanical aptitude and inventive genius intellect at a very early age and having a specialty of technology; already knowing how to successfully build a supercomputer at the tender age of four-years-old. But Victoria's high level of intelligence caused her to retreat inside her own mind and become an introvert.

Although not carrying the incredible powers like her father and eldest brother, Victoria was deeply inspired by her father the former and retired Prime Guardian, and has dreamt of helping innocent people and fighting evil like he did. She has told this to him, and he strongly disapproved not wanting his only daughter to get hurt or worse. Following her fathers' demands, she still wanted to help save people some way and went to work developing one of the most complex and powerful computer systems and accumulate, and provide information to Elijah, also known as the new Prime Guardian. But she still felt like that wasn't enough. After watching a ton of superhero movie flicks and reading lots of superhero comic books, Victoria finally decided to have a secret project for creating an electrically powered transistorized suit of armor, with offensive weaponry, to finally fight crime like her father. What started as an impossible, and challenging task became a success, using stolen material from the MegaMetro University of Science campus, nearly being caught many times. Having a lightweight, moveable, integrated circuit, magnetically polarized suit, and making a name for herself based on the orbital battle station from the film series Star Wars, called "Death Star".

Abilities: Victoria is skilled in electrical engineering, and has a genius level intellect that easily allows her to invent a wide range of sophisticated weaponry and technology. Without her suit of armor, Victoria possesses the normal human strength level of a woman, of her, build, height, and age, who engages in a regular moderate amount of exercise. She has also taken self-defense classes but is rather inexperienced in combat.

Power(s): None.

Armor Composition/Capabilities: Victoria's suit is essentially a light, breathable, and a moveable armor. The suit is willingly capable of protecting the innocent citizenry of MegaMetro and fighting crime. The armored suit has a musculature enhancement amplifying Victoria's strength and providing superhuman strength as well. The total lift capacity is 5,200 lbs. Her boots contain two miniature, magnetically powered turbines. Which compresses ambient air into incandescence to generate a thrust, a separate booster pack could also be used. The maximum speed is Mach 1.5 (1,141 mph). The suit also includes a wide array of sensors that can see into various parts of the electromagnetic spectrum (including X-ray, and also infrared), and also containing communication mechanism. The air supply duration is about 1.5 hours. The suit may have many amazing capabilities, it's vulnerable to water and has a moderate density battery storage that can be drained.

Weapons: Victoria wears an advanced suit of body armor containing multiple offensive weaponry, which compresses ambient air specified down below.

Offensive:

Major weapon: Repulsor rays

Depth/Description: Repulsors integrated within the palms of her glove. The repulsor rays can repel physical and energy-based attacks, traveling as a single stream or as a wide-field dispersal. They also repel the opponent away as well as leaving burns, and mortal wounds. These are the primary offensive weapons of her armor. They're a laser, path guided, medium density-plasma projectors.

Range: 50 feet

Limitations: The palmed repulsor rays are capable of firing for short periods of time, and allows a 30% cooling period. Overusing the repulsor rays could drain the battery of the armor, or cause the armor to overheat.

Secondary weapon: Sonic disruptors

Depth/Description: A high frequency vibrational sonic attack emitted by her palms.

Limitations: Occasionally uses the sonic disruptors, since it is highly life-threatening and able to vibrate an ordinary human so quickly that they will completely disrupt their brain functions. Prefers to use this as a last resort.

Tertiary Weapon: Tractor beam

Depth/Description: A tractor beam is a projected force that is able to emit from her palms that manipulate gravitational forces to push or pull objects.

Limitations: None.

Defensive:
Victoria's armor is able to protect her from a range of strong blunt force attacks, often times with little to no exterior damage and free-falling friction (although temporarily).

Skiled in Tae Won Do: Not a Power, just a skill.
