Welcome to MegaMetro, the city of superhumans! How will your character enter this bustling city of action? After signing up here, Villains and Heroes: Eternal Strife: Sign Up Thread, you may post an intro here!

This intro should describe where your character is, and what he/she does in this city. It can be as long as you want, but your intro may only take up one post. Do not use more than one post for your intro! Your intro should take place in a location in MegaMetro. You can access the geography on the sign up thread. Your intro will decide how your character starts out in Villains & Heroes. When you start on the RP thread, refer to your intro.

Intros are optional, and are not mandatory.

Sir Dre

Ah, another beautiful city morning! I gazed out the condo window, in the form of a Labrador. As a shape shifter, I often changed into different animals, and even other people. One time, on an undercover mission, I was in the form of a henchman. My powers have their uses.

I was set to patrol Thorpton Park today. We haven't seen much action in the city since April, when- my father- nearly destroyed the city. Yeah, I'm John Doe's son. My mother changed our name, and I'm John Dre now.

I know it was my father who attacked the city. A- thing- that can possess people? Definitely my father. The government still doesn't know who it was. They are still running investigations, investigations about the huge figure battling the fire man. That huge figure was my father. They are running investigations about the spider woman, now in jail. I'd tell them it was my father, but I am too ashamed of my heritage.

I transform into a bird, and fly over the city. I can see the tops of skyscrapers from here. I have a literal bird's eye's view. I land in Thorpton Park, and morph into a snake. I slither into a bush. Maybe I'll encounter crime? The city has been quiet since last month.

I'll just wait. Because as we all know, peace never lasts.

Towering Inferno

It's been a month since I defeated one of the most feared villains in MegaMetro. He attempted to rule over the city again. When he first tried it, I was very young and was still poor. I thought I wouldn't be able to have a future, no one did think that I would have a successful feature. Little did I know, I would prove these naysayers wrong. There was one hostage situation that would prove everyone wrong...

Today, after all my college work was done, I set off to patrol Mega Park. The people down there were nice and the park was nice to relax at. One time, there was a person who came to here to commemorate what he has done and let his thoughts take over. At first, I thought he was depressed. I was reminded of all of the comics that had the hero who was not respected and would always be in a depressed state that was supposed to make the character likable. I always hated when comics did that because it would be irritating for people to say, "I feel bad for a character because he isn't respected when he is doing a great thing," or "Why would no one respect a hero?" although I like when people provide different reasons why they felt bad for a cliche comic character. In the end, he was actually just an average guy who thought this place would be the best place to let his thoughts roam.

Fortunately, there hasn't been any crime for the past month. The last time there was something major that happened, I was the one to stop it. With this soldier who was blocky and has technology way further than our time. I do not know who he was, but if I ever saw him again, I would like to know who he was. Without him, I would've been toast. There was also that spider woman who was with him. I do not know who she was, but she didn't last long and I do not expect her to come again.

After going one round around Mega Park without finding any crime, I take a seat on a bench and relax. Who knows how long the peace here will last?

The Midnight Sailor

I wake up a sunny morning, stretching my arms as far as I can. I look out my shimmering window, only to find a street filled with puddles. I sigh, dressing my self, showering, the usual. I cook breakfast, a full english breakfast to be precise, devour it whilst watching tv. "Life is perfect" I'd remind myself, but he knew after the rainbow, comes the storm...

Mr. Magnet

How shall I get back at the city?? They wrecked my life, as soon as I moved here. It was all their fault, my selfish parents included. I want to ruin their lives in return. I will be known as the one who destroyed MegaMetro. It will be I, Luke Mann. Otherwise known as, Mr. Magnet.

I know what I want to do. I'll bury the city under thousands, and thousands of feet of space debris. But my powers aren't strong enough. I'll need to steal some device that can amplify my powers, make them stronger. And the Anti Villains Department will have something like that. They're always making new contraptions, and stuff.

And, I've already established that I need to go to the highest point in MegaMetro, to summon the space debris. But where is that? I throw aside maps, reading them as I go. What's this? I open one tourist brochure. "Visit Central Finance! While the offices are only open to certified businessman, you can take a tour to the top of the 120 story building, the highest point in all of MegaMetro!"

Perfect! I'll steal the device from the AVD, and head to Central Finance. My plan is complete. Now, to initiate it.

I stand in my lair, a cave in North Abingdon. "Oh yes. I've created a master plan. I'll team up with another villain, and we can kill some of MegaMetro's greatest superheroes! The world doesn't know what's coming for it!" I say. "I'll enter the place where a hero is hiding, in my normal form.. and I'll kill him!"

It's been a long time since I've done anything for crime. Since raiding Inferno's school and kidnapping the principal, I have been dormant, just chilling in my house and taking in all of the money and reputation I've earned for myself.

When I and my friends started our criminal organization, little did we know that we would become a rich and infamous organization in the next few years. We intended for it to be a place where we can make money and hang out without anyone interfering us. But then we learned about the crime rate in MegaMetro slowly rising because of "crimes committed by supervillains." So we started to raid stores and get even more money. We were able to beat the police and pull off multiple successful raids. But there was one event that changed our lives forever.

We decided to take a poor innocent principal to us. At first, I didn't agree with this, but in the end, we did the plan. I discovered my powers by seeing a trail behind me where I went. This was a massive relief as it would make our attack easier. But Inferno was there and saved him.

But today is the day that this will all change. I will make my mark on MegaMetro and get my revenge for all it has done to me. This is for my father, this is for my grade school, this is for my old friends. I walk into the changing room and get on my costume. I look at the mirror at my alter ego.

I am Vanish and I am tired of people not respecting all I've been through. It's time for a change in MegaMetro, one where we can all live in peace from the corrupt police and government. I walk out of the house and into my car. I will drive towards one of the biggest buildings in MegaMetro and take it over.

You can go through this! Anyway, i need to get out of here. I hate my distorted brain! I promise them i will be a good girl! And i will start by using daddy's laptop and use it! Look out world! I "Empress" will serve justice. Now how do i get out of this house... Oh there's my stroller! I have no idea why mom and dad made it drivable but i'm cool with that.

It has been a while since I have served MegaMetro. Served all the way until what I call the "Great Peace"-yeah, probably called other names, but I just stick to Great Peace.
I silently sigh, staring at the sky. Today's training session has been the same as always. But I sense something is wrong.
This peace. I am no telepath. But I sense that something can go wrong.
There remains one question, a question I mull over as I lean back on the chair.
What is going to go wrong? The return of more villains?

Only one way to find out.

The meadows ring with the steps of my metal boots as I walk back towards the city I have served before...
...and I will serve again.

What a tiring day to go for a walk. I casually walked through the streets, earning glances of various flavors, probably because of my incomprehensible attractiveness to anyone who passes by. Or...they've never seen an albino before. It's not my genetics that says I'm an albino; I can walk in the sun just fine. However I think it has something to do with my powers.

Let me tell you a little bit about them. I think the fire blocks the sun's harmful rays, so I don't actually need color to survive. That's why I look like a ghost or something. Oh, there's my favorite tea shop! I saunter info the shop and order my daily fix as I sit down in my favorite chair. As my drink arrives, I the waiter. Mmm, I can't tell what's more delicious. The tea or the waiter... shit, you weren't supposed to hear that! Anyways, I finished the tea in a few sips and walk out the door, ready to tackle the world head-on, AAH!

I tripped and hit the ground hard. Why is everyone staring when I trip? Are you all looking at my butt?

(I didn't have a chance to make an introduction last night, so here is mine.)

Korosenai​

It's been too long. But I'm back where I belong, here on the streets. They'll know soon enough that I've returned.
The sun is setting over MegaMetro. A ball of flames, descending below the horizon, washing the sky with red and orange light. I feel my gauntlets beginning to loosen up. And then...
The moon. It's a clear night, and the moon is full.
Perfect.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Two men. Guards? Police? Thugs? I can't tell.
"Freeze!"
Definitely guards, then. And from the looks of their outfits, they're the worst type.
My gauntlets flow with silver light, and meld with the skin of my hands. A chill shoots through my body. As the moon's rays fall upon me, I rise into the sky, my uplifted palms glowing.
The guards remain unfazed. One takes out his walkie-talkie, most likely to summon others. The other guard draws something that looks like a stun gun.
"Die."
The air around me fills with dust. Black dust. With a flash of silver light, it becomes tentacles that sprout from my gauntlets. One darts forward to snatch the walkie-talkie of the guard. Flinging him against a wall, I raise the walkie talkie before crushing it into bits. Sparks and battery acid drip from my raised tentacle.
The guard whose walkie-talkie I destroyed yanks out a dart gun. It had to be one of those? Meanwhile, the second guard fires off a blast of energy from his stun gun. If I know anything about these people, it's that I don't want to get hit by one of their projectiles. Using my elevation, I kick off against the wall and shoot toward the men, tentacles flying. I smash into the stun-gun guard, knocking him to the ground, before twisting his neck with a flick of a tentacle.
There's a soft hiss, and I realize the other guard must have shot at me. A feathered shaft protrudes from one of my tentacles, and almost immediately, a gray haze begins to come over it. Paralyzed.
Before the poison can spread to my body, I allow the tentacle to disintegrate, and the dart falls to the ground, with a click.
I whip my head around before my left gauntlet begins to smoke with silver energy. I slash it in a horizontal motion, and it unleashes a crescent of moonlight. The guard tries to roll out of the way, but the beam explodes as soon as it hits the wall, sending masonry flying.
The guard is struggling to get up when I come over to him.
My right gauntlet exudes darkness into the air around it.
"Goodnight."


There's a fight going on in MegaMetro. The Central Finance building.
I'm coming.
And when I get there, there will be justice.
