Serene smiled, "thank you Lacy, good luck here my love!" She said before huming a small tune aa she left, carefully placing each sample in her bag, wrapped up like a mummy.


"Ahh! It's so itchy and my nose hurts, I HAVE to find this treasure or rare artifact, it's never been so strong before," following a small glittered path only her eyes could she, she opened the doors outsids to see a ship above her.


"Oh my lord of the sea...pirates..." she trailed off as her wings appeared behind her back and she flew upwards, she sat on a sail as she realised the boy there, was the person she walked past!


"My heart is pierced by cupid,


I disdain all glittering gold,


But there's nothing can console me,


but my jolly sailor bold,"


Serene started to sing, her siren voice like a sweet symphomy to the men on board.


She fluttered around below the ship and her arm appeared on the side where Dante was standing, pulling herself up, summoning her more mermaid face features. Seductively singing in front of him.

"I don't know how much help they'll be." He sighed, "Most of these are manuals for exherent mages like myself, anything related to possession is probably going to be in bestiaries. That's not something that can be learned through academics." He stood up, I was about to head off to the practice rooms to try and develop fire magic, you up for joining?"

Yuu was about to stand up but looked at Kharia and sat down and shook his head "I would love to but Aria would kill me if I did" Yuu said remembering the time when he was doing Lance's Amulet Task "M...Maybe I should go,Aria will just find me near the nurse room anyway Let's go"

"Huh? I'll show you." He took a gulp of the soup and moved his cloak to show the space where his stomach was. Soup was just floating around as if in some invisible stomach acid. "My body is still here in spirit" he said. (Notice the cameras! Notice them!)

Wiccan roamed around the school looking around curiously wondering if people were even here "There's no one here"

Dante heard singing and every crew member went to check what was making the song. He too went to check the singing and when he saw the girl he smiled. "Sorry lass I ain't dumb. Mermaids don't live in the air. But I will let you up. I can always make an exception for a beautiful girl like you. Hoist yourself up."

Lucia looked at the floating soup and looked at it in awe. Then she saw it. A camera. "Hey Pb. What's that?" She pointed to the location of the camera.

"Huh?" Pbtenchi followed her gaze and saw the camera. "That's funny... I don't remember that being there.' In another part of the school, Anonymous swore. "Do you know what it is?" asked Pbtenchi

Yuu was about to stand up but looked at Kharia and sat down and shook his head "I would love to but Aria would kill me if I did" Yuu said remembering the time when he was doing Lance's Amulet Task "M...Maybe I should go,Aria will just find me near the nurse room anyway Let's go"

Neckros nodded, and the two set off for the practice rooms that were labeled on the map. Supposedly there were powerful enchantments on the rooms that would prevent anything from going awry and destroying the school. They weren't too far from the Nurses Office. There's probably an anchantment so if anyone is seriously injured the Nurse will come running. Neckros thought. As they walked in. Neckros set his books down on a bench, flipping through the fire book. He read a few lines, then stepped down into the sand pit. on the ground he drew two pentagrams, one inverted on top of the other. At each point he drew one of the ancient symbols of the ten elements. A keen eyed observer would note that the symbols across from each other were more-or-less the same. With the symbols drawn, Neckros stepped into the decagram, pushed his hands together and started to take deep breaths. (If you decide you want Wicca to join us, that'd be okay.)

Serene paused as she smiled, "you're the only sailor immune, too bad you could've gotten a kiss, and what can I call you by?" She flew up, keeping her features as she gently flew downwards again onto the floor behind him.


"Mind if you give me a tour?" Serene turned on her heel, not really accepting the answer no, and walked off, a little sway in her hips. That treasure's as good as mine, well, whatever I can carry.


"I'm a little new here, and I'd say your the first person who knows who I really am, a little siren a little fairy, but you don't know my powers, so I'll leave that," Serene flipped her hair as she waited.

Sadie wondered where and what Lacy was doing, she was bored and the sun was most likely coming up soon, considering their classes were at night.


"Hey Steve? Why do you need to see Lacy about a weakness, you're fine," she looked at him as he was crouched lower down.

Lucia looked at Pb and then the camera. "Yeah. I think it's a camera." She grabbed it and crushed it. "Anyways. Let eat."

Dante looked at the girl and then a pirate gave him another paper. "Ah. I see Serene. You haven't been watched because you've been hidden." He put an arm around her shoulder and ordered a pirate to open the hatch. He went down first and showed her around.


When he made it to storage area he stopped her. "I am not letting you in there without a warning. Take anything and you're going to be either A) shot up by pirates and cannons or B) impressing me and there's a strong possibility you won't impress me. A very strong possibility." He opened the door and what was inside was impressive. There is an extreme amount of gold in there. More sugars, rum, metals, cloth, and wood was there. "Oh. And by the way. I'm Dante."

Shepard stood up and rolled her neck. "God to know. Here kid you may need this." She said as she tossed him a light blue amulet. "If you don't know what that is, it will create a portal to where you need to go. Don't over use it since it can only be used twice a week. Meaning one round trip before it has to recharge." She said her hand returning to her pocket. "Now before you go I might as well tell you the enemy. I have to kill three griffins, one alpha which is going to be a pain. You will be dealing with hatchlings they are week, but if they get close to you, you will be ripped to shreds."

Skull sighed at that and began doing some mental math as Hat began to slide the clips into pockets sewn into his jacket. Finishing his math Skull said,


"Ok, so a gryphon flies at around the same speed as a f15 fighter jet, so that's 1500 mph at top speed, so about 670 meters per second, so lets see... at most, Hats going to have just under 3 seconds to park a bullet in Mr. birdy's brain before he reaches us if the adults go after us... got it..."


Slinging the M110 over his shoulder, Hat nodded in acknowledgement and said quietly,


"When we get to wherever, I will need a minute to find a spot to shoot from, and to hide my presence, so if your going in guns blazing from the start, you may have to deal with a hatchling or two before i begin picking them off..."

Shepard nodded as she took off her ring and muttered something to it. She then placed it on the floor and a scarlet colored portal opened up, not waiting for Hat she entered it where. Looking around she sighed as she scratched her head. The two had arrived at a post apocalyptic world, there were tons of ruins and cliff great for hiding and using as cover. Taking a step forward a loud crunch was heard beneath her feet. Looking down she raised a brow before she kneeled. ".... Odd this is a gryphon's leg.... Something tore it off." She muttered before standing up and looking around. There was actually a lot of gryphons' carcass all around even two adult, some distance off roars and fighting could be heard. "Looks like the target may change, kid go get cover."

Inwardly cursing, Hat looked around before spotting a small crevice in a near by cliff. Hat had originally been planning on using Skull to cover a large distance and space himself from the gryphons, but as they where no longer the targets, there was no sense in doing that. Wedging himself in the cliff, Hat pulled the rifle off his shoulders, pulled the first clip out of his pocket and slid it into the rifle before he exhaled. As the breath left his body, so did all color and opacity, rendering him invisible. Skull slid to a halt just beneath the cliff and laid down before also cloaking himself. Taking a deep breath, Hat pressed the stock of the rifle to his shoulder and held it there with his right hand before slipping his left hand into his pocket where he pulled out a small mirror. Allowing the mirror to become opaque again, he flashed it in the light three times to signal to Shepard, he was in position.

Yuu zipped the jacket he was wearing and wore his goggles as they entered the room,Yuu took his shoes off and stepped into the sand "So are you a magician that is half skull head half human?" Yuu decided to speak because it was getting too silent for him

"I am what is known as an Uoy. We are worshipers of the dread god of necromancy, Uhk Lxoh. I was initiated into his mysteries by the sacrifice of those who loved me most, my parents, for his glory. That made me a necromancer and set me on the path of exherent magic. Once you have opened yourself as a conduit to the power of Uhk Lxoh you are able to become one of the Uoyvaly. We offered up our greatest foes as a sacrifice to his glory, in doing so he rewards us with a form more befitting of our power. I am already half-dead, I am immune to any effect that relies on human metabolism, so I cannot be poisoned, or suffer from diseases. But I can hunger, or starve, and I do age." He unfolded his hands and stepped into a stance leaning slightly forward. "Of course very few exherent mages die of old age, most of us are killed in combat, or become so powerful that we ascend to the elemental plane we are most attuned to and become immortal subjects of the gods." Focusing ahead a fine green mist started to coagulate around Neckros.

(time skip via a week, however Hat and Shepard are in a different dimension with muuuuuch slower time so no time skip for them.... I don't care if it doesn't make sense! Just go with it! ANYWAY!!! FOUR DAY TIME SKIP!!!!!))


Shepard noted the light and nodded before a visor formed over her eyes. Using this she noted the heat sources that were not to far off. Moving slowly as the fighting had gotten closer and the screams, growls, and roars were getting louder by the moment. At first all the screeching was coming from one source which anyone could tell was the gryphon. However soon another roar was heard and Shepard stopped moving as she cursed under her breath. Moving her fingers to her headpiece she made the scan go a bit wider now seeing all of the heat sources in a mile range. "Well.... Crap." With that she suddenly turned around and ran for some cover some distance away from Hat. Moments after she was hidden a tendril hit a few of the cliffs completing destroying them and making flat land were the enemy could be easily seen. There was a huge desert monster that in some ways looked like a kraken. It was soaked in blood and on one of it's tendril a dead alpha gryphon lay. Surrounding the beast were five death claws that were devouring the carcasses of other gryphons.


"Sh*t" Shepard muttered as she looked at the group, so far the enemy didn't seemed to notice, due to them being busy stuffing their gut. 'This is going to be harder then I thought... I didn't think death claws would be here, they rank an A on the system... As a responsible teacher I should take the kid and leave.... But if I leave then I may not get a chance to slay beast like these for a while...."

By now everyone was fully healed thanks to Lacy help and training had gone back to normal, now was time for another test. "Everyone, meet me at the court yard, anyone that's not here when the lesson starts will have to stay behind, unless I'm given a damn good excuse!" Lances voice rang through out the school.

((Completely forgot I had a league shoot for pool tonight.... sorry about that.))


Looking at the scene through the scope on his rifle Hat thanked the gods the target where still about a killometers distance away before he said,


"Those are most definitely not gryphons... Skull would you care to fill me in?"





"Like hell I can see whatever they are from here... aside from the big ass sand kraken... describe them to me."





Adjusting the focuses on the scope Hat replied,





"Erm... they have horns... bipedal... reptilian, vaugly humanoid... tanish color...probably about ten feet tall..."





Listening to his description, Skull thought for a moment befor saying,





"My guess is they are death claws then... Death claws are blind, however their hearing and smell is extreamly accute, but that wont help them with us. They dont have vocal chords yet can still grow and howl, with more intelligent ones even able to mimic human speech patterns. Their bodies are heavily armored, including the skull as well as designed to resist heat... oh, and their bodies are heavily irradiated...."





Hearing the profile of what he was aiming at, Hat adjusted his aim slightly before saying,





"Irradiated huh? Better not let them get too close then..."





Shiffting his aim from the center of one of the deathclaws temples, Hat set the crosshairs at the base of the beasts spine and said,





"If the skull is armoured, the that means the spine will be thicker to suppot that weight... however this also means that to not over burden the beast, that thicker spine will not have developed armour. So, that should be the most vulnerable spot on its body, producing either an instant kill, or severing the spinal cord paralyzing it. And the adding the same charge as a bolt of lightning will fry them in a way different than just being jot, so that should really put a damper on their day."





The air around the barrel of his rifle began to crackel with electricity, giving off a faint distortion to the air. Hat sighed at this slight distortion, as currently, it was the only trace of his otherwise invisible self, before he murmered,





"I am a sniper…


A loner…


I am not a part of the world…


But merely observe it through my crosshair…


I live by the shadows and die by the shadows…


I am always distant from everything else…


I am fearful by strength…


Invincible by distance…


Being a sniper is the worst thing to be…


Only hell can cleanse what we do…"





On the final word Hat pulled the trigger, causing the rifle to quietly cough, and send death on its way. Staring through the scope, Hat watched as just over two seconds after he pulled the trigger, a fountain of blood erupted from the base of the deathclaws neck and its body began to spasm as if hit with a tazer. Hearing the clatter of the casing against the rock the duo spoke at the same time, Hat stating a fact, and Skull quiping a joke.





"Well thats one down, with an alerted presence, four targets remaining, nineteen bullets in the clip, and four full clips to spare... lets get to work."


"Peek-a-boo, I see you. You can't see me, but I see you and my spotter can too. I pull the trigger, the bullet flies. Commies watch as one of their own dies."





Each having said their respective lines, settled back into the snipping mood, as Hat adjusted the rifles aim towards the next deathclaw.

"Lance this time? This is gonna be bad. He said, before putting on the American football helmet he had obtained sometime in the week to protect against Lance's classes. He snapped his fingers and 10 skeletons, carrying to coffins slightly smaller then the Goliath's followed him to the court yard. "Let's hope it's not another no powers lesson..." He grumbled. (C'mon! I was just bringing Anonymous out!)

Neckros reported to the courtyard, he had managed to use his last amulet charge, but the amulet was still recharging and would not be ready for another four days. During his down time he had spent every moment freed to him practicing fire magic in the practice yard, and was getting better at it, he could now successfully channel fire without burning his fingers, although they were still wrapped up from his first attempt. He stood in the courtyard looking around, apparently Pbtenchi had decided to bring out his goliath again. Useless Neckros thought, He shouldn't be so reliant on that hulking monstrosity.

Yuu had been sleeping for two days because he didn't get enough sleep after taking care of Kharia after she....well....blacked out....I guess Anyways,After sleeping for two days he spent the other two days trying to upgrade his abilities and learn more about it. After the two days he could change the sizes of the objects he made and he could make any color he preferred appear on the object he makes,It was more of a customization upgrade more than his actual power upgrading. Yuu went to the cafeteria and packed some eggs and some bacon he also packed one for Kharia as well,Yuu ran towards Kharia's dorm and knocked on it "Kharia? You in there?"

Sadie yawned as she got out of bed, everyone was already awake and the sun had just set leaving only a night sky, to which she observed the stars with her new found vision. Opening a cooler box she had in her room, pulling out a canister of blood, she emptied the contens into smlll vials she had created which were easily stored on her arm and enchanted by the teachers so they wouldn't smash. Then she took a blood pack and sipped on it with a straw as she walked out.


Everyone knew she was a vampire now and that she was just as respected as before, enemies stayed enemies and friends stayed friends.


Equipping herself with her signature sword and various other weapons and armour, she headed outside and carefully approached Lance's scary self. No doubt Steve was already up and about somewhere.

Serene stretched and swam deeper into a lake which was close to the school and her eyes naturally converted the darkness into light as she looked about. Swimming further her hands touched the sand and she dug deeper.


Blowing she manipulated the water and it sent a gush inti the sand, leaving a hole and something shining.


"The White King Dragons Scale," she placed it in eer puch and swam upwards, jumping out at such a high speed she traded her tail for wings and landed next to Sadie. Her hair was dry, just like magic and her weaposs were there, she had prepared herself before she got up early in the morning.

Lucia got out of bed and went to the courtyard and stood away from every one.


Dante woke up on his ship and went out of quarters so he could slide down the anchor. When he reached the bottom he stood beside Serene and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'd like it if you never take anything again. Though you did impress me. Good job."

Kharia blinked awake, groggy from her deep sleep. She felt better, now that she had recovered from her injuries, and realized she had woken from a noise. Was someone calling her? "Hello? The door's open." She caked out warily, then realized she was only wearing a night shirt. "U-um give me a minute!" She caked out after leaping out of her bed to get dressed.
