Version 12.6: Emotions Unsecured

No, it's not going to be like a movie where there's cutscenes. People will post as they can, and there may/will be many conversations happening at once. Part of the reason I wanted posters to be active, is that if you're talking to someone, you'll have to wait until that person responds back, and if you're in a building, and that building blows up... and that one person just... hasn't posted. It's kinda awkward.

If a lot is going on in a bunch of different places, because not all of our characters are going to be involved with each other at first.


we're all at 5 different points, well at the same time.


but now that I think it over I guess a transition note would be much because the character names would probably be within the first few sentences

You can do that if you wish. I do it myself if I am playing more than one character. We will each describe where we are, but you're more than welcome to flashfoward like that as well. You'll see me do that when I GM.

Granted my naming talent is terribad. I just came home from a bad lunch with a weird uncle. I apologise. Hopefully my point is across now.
 
Hey, just a suggestion though - how about we include a time and even location? If it HAS to be a mysterious place, we can opt for "???". By the end of it, I can even compile what happens chronologically for my own collection. (Since some actions happen so fast, like Jazimon's example: an explosion, but some things like confrontations can take a longer while since there will be awkward silences for undisclosed times depending on the two different parties.)

You're right. Due to the number of people in the RP, it would make things easier to read. Time and location makes sense, I don't think we'd need to include names though, as everyone's only playing one person.
 
Does Jazimon have the Knavestown layout/blueprint planned in mind? A scope on how the world looks like in my mind would be utmost appreciated.
 
Not as of yet, although I will try to provide something tomorrow :]
 
Hey. I like the ideas so far. Shall we start throwing around starting points? Maybe a different one for each human/android or even a common prompt to get the ball rolling?

If I were a man, I'd show you true love, Jaz. In any case, I love the map. Also, think we can include some sewage systems or is it given?
 
I'm fine with anywhere sensible (although I did mention that I'm in the "darker side of Knavetown") - as long as Spud/Lucas Fowler is in the same area or adjacent! We had our starters ready. Well, I showed him mine and he read it, at least. And he finds it perfect so there. Don't make us start insanely far away from each other, GM. D:
