Personally I used a site called Quotev for several years before they eventually removed the messaging and group function which pretty much made the site useless smh.
Wattpad was a pretty good one too, though it's not as good as it used to be.

Mostly in the comment section of a chapter. There was the individuals where ocs had a page and you comment to rp with that character.
And group rps were pretty much the same thing. It'd be one main comment where everyone replies, and you get notifications so it was kinda like a thread
Oh, and pms too. But they removed that for some reason sigh

I also used to use Quotev! I hadn't been on there in a hot minute after they took the groups and chatting system off there.

Wow, another Q user, I've never met someone whose actually heard of the site!
And then removing the groups + messages turned it into a dead site. So many people left and I hardly use it myself. Unfortunate, wish I knew what the creators were thinking.

It's hard to find people from Quotev. You're the first person that I've met from a different website that knows what Quotev is.
