Beau pulled the covers over his head. He hated early mornings, "Leave meee," He whined in a deeper voice than his regular tone. He curled up into a ball like a cat would. Last night he had a great night's sleep with Ori. He was comfortable but he'd prefer to just fall back to sleep with him cuddling him.

Cinn watched in silence as the figure turned to him and introduced himself as Mr. Dragwlya.   The guy seemed to like roses, which was fine with Cinn.  He didn't know many masculines who enjoyed gardening and the arts.   "Yes, I am one of Octavia's kids.  Cinn Orion Roussel," he said slowly.   "Does my mother know you are here Mr. Dragwyla?" he asked.   It was possible she did, but he'd rather not deal with his mother if she didn't know about this... "You are one of us yes?" he questioned.   Cinn had made the mistake once of bringing in a werewolf to the manor when he'd been a child.  His parents hadn't been pleased with him at all about that.   He'd best be sure as he didn't want to experience his mother's temper about another werewolf roaming the manor and grounds.   @Spanner

"Yes, your mother already know that I'm here." The vampire said while chuckling slightly from the question, it was clear that the younger vampire had some trouble with strangers in the manor before. "And about being one of yours, I guess I can fit in that description if you're asking about me being a vampire." He continued in a nonchalant tone, the half smile in his face letting clear that he found the question to be really amusing.

"In fact, I'm surprised that you never heard anything about me. If I recall correctly there are a lot of rumours about me out there." He finished, clearly surprised about not being recognized by his name. After all, the reaction to his name was generally one of fear or surprise when heard by members of the underworld.

(I'll have Sayuri interact with you Ceat.)

A hen rested within a small basket, Sayuri having spent two gold pieces on the animal.  The neko wasn't strong enough to bring a human back to the manor for her master's drink, so had purchased the hen instead.  The meat could be used for a meal later but for now it would serve the purpose of nourishing her master's thirst.  Busy with chopping up some fruit, the knocking from far away caused the neko to look up from her work.  This wasn't her master's home after all but it seemed that the mistress of this home wasn't awake yet or perhaps she was gone on business.  What business a woman could have was unknown to the Neko but she get the knife down and made her way out of the kitchen and towards the front door.  The girl tugged the door open and looked out, her ears twitching as poked her head out to see a man leaning against the railing with a woman beside him.    Her tail rose a bit as she glanced from one to the other.     "May I help you?"  she asked quietly, looking from one figure to the other.    @Ceat6

The masculine heaved a sigh of relief at hearing this was a vampire and that his mother knew of the man's presence within the grounds.   "That's good for me," he said to himself, aware that the other vampire would be able to hear him.  "Rumors can be truth or falsehoods spread by worshipers or falsehoods to make themselves look grander than they are," said Cinn.   "I don't tend to pay a lot of attention to the rumors of the underworld."   He looked at the roses that were in full bloom.     "I do not think breakfast has been made yet but there should be some place in the city that is open for food or you could wait until the servants have food ready," he said, unsure what to say.   "...You like the roses?  Or is it gardens ye prefer?"   Cinn was suddenly curious about the man's supposed rumors and if he really liked gardening or just looking at the different flowers and trees.  It might just be something to converse about, as much as the vampire tended to converse anyway.   @Spanner

"I am Deacon, one of the vampire lords, and this is my servant Elaine" Deacon stood up bowing. "Is your master home young one? I have been trying to gain an audience with her for some time" Deacon stood up looking down to Elaine. His gaze was serious and cold as he peered down at Sayuri "please tell her that it is about....well a few ferrall beings that have to be dealt with before our way of life is altered"

"It's really good that you think like that. I'm already full of crazy weirdos calling me a Demon or saying that I'm Vlad the impaler brother." The vampire said in a somehow annoyed tone, that didn't got to the point of breaking his nonchalant behavior but let clear that he disliked the rumors. "I mean, I'm 100% not a Demon and I'm pretty sure that I was already old when that brat's father was still a fetus." The vampire continued in a muttering tone, after all he couldn't resist but demystify the absurd rumors.

He shooked his head slightly before returning to the main topic of the conversation, noticing that he got somehow distracted with his own dissatisfaction. "Well, that's not the point. Anyway, I do like flowers as a whole but roses have an special place in my heart." He said, his face turning somehow melancholic for a moment, a fraction of second that wouldn't be noticed by a normal human, before returning to the normal.

Sayuri's eyes went to the male as he spoke, dropping into a curtsy in greeting like her mother had taught her.   The neko shook her head as he was speaking about notifying her master, but when he mentioned the mistress of this home, the neko's ears laid flat against her head.    "I am sorry sir, but my master is also a guest here who is out in the city.  I am unsure if the mistress of this manor is awake or not."  @Ceat6

Cinn was quiet, as usual, as the guest began speaking.   The young man lifted a hand to run through his hair as the man mentioned others referring to him as a demon or as Vlad the Impaler's brother.  Wasn't Vlad a regular human with a blood fetish and a love for war?  Cinn shook his head as that thought entered his mind, a slight smirk appearing on his face as he noted the man's rather disgruntled attitude when speaking of said rumors.     "That is intriguing.  I have my own garden, given to be by my father," he waved carelessly towards a path leading to the back of the manor, "and find the gardens to be quite soothing and relaxing.  Even when they die in the winter, the snow blanketing the ground makes it beautiful.  What is it that brings you to the Roussel manor if I may inquire?"  @Spanner

"I agree. In fact, what I love the most about flowers is their ephemeral beauty, it reminds me of how fragile is life. Be it human or not." The vampire said in a rather nonchalant tone, clearly not expressing all his thoughts about the subject.

"What brings me to the manor..?" The vampire actually assumed a pensative look, as if the questions was actually hard to answer. "I guess my excessive amount of time?" He replied in a rather awkward tone. It was clear that he didn't have any special reason other than passing time.

Deacon started to laugh lightly, reaching down he put his hand on Sayuri's head. "You have been taught quite well when it comes to manners, What is your name little miss?" Deacon carefully walked past her into the manor. Looking around he smiled, examining every inch of the interior. "This place hasn't changed at all, well aside from all the corpses hanging from the walls...." looking to Sayuri trying not to laugh.

Elaine looked at Sayuri then to her master "Deacon you are going to scare the girl...I apologize for my masters since of humor, if I may inquire for him, who is your master? And do you require any assistance?"

Cinn lowered his hand and folded both hands behind his back, his eyes drifting back from the roses to Mr. Dragwyla.  "Time seems to be all we have," said Cinn.  "Well, if my mother knows you are here already, then I suppose she wouldn't mind you entering the house.  Just don't feed off of the servants.  Or you could go for a ride if you're a capable horseman.  It's where I was heading before picking up your scent."   The offer was open either way though Cinn would likely be riding through the countryside as he didn't have business in town for a few days. Perhaps it would give Ebony some time to get used to being on her own for  a bit, the vampire still not noticing that there was something odd about his fiancee.   Hopefully his mother wasn't already planning a wedding.   @Spanner

Sayuri's face paled at the mention of dead bodies on the walls and she made a distressed noise in her throat at the disturbing image that sprang into her mind, shrinking from the touch of the vampire's hand on her head like she was a common animal.   The neko swished her tail behind her.  "M'name is Sayuri Sun, m'lord," said Sayuri.  Her master had his servants entrust males with m'lord and m'lady with females of high standing, high standing in her master's words being nobles and ancients.  Her eyes darted up to the woman who spoke next, tilting her head to study her.  When did vampires start enslaving other vampires?  Even Master and Mistress, what Anwar had told them to refer as his companion, didn't enslave vampires.    Wait...that was humor?  The neko shook her head, moving her tail to the other side.    "My master is Anwar," said Sayuri, "but if you wish to help prepare food, you may do so."   At least she could get a question answered about why this vampire woman appeared to be of lower standing than the male.   @Ceat6

"I'm passing. Somehow horses can't stand me" The older vampire said while waving his hands in an apologetic way. "I guess I'm wandering a little more before returning to sleep for a while, after all I still didn't recovered from all the travelling." The vampire said, once more justifying his denial in a humble way that didn't suit a vampire noble at all.

"Said this, I'm not taking more of your time." Arthur said, starting to return to his walking by the manor. The way he walked and even the attitude sugested a rather carefree way of living, something you wouldn't normally see from an ancient vampire.

"As you wish," said Cinn before turning and making his way back along the path he had taken to get to the rose area of the garden.    Reaching the path  again that he had been on, he continued along it until he got to the barn and opened the door.  "Pax," he called as he walked over to his horse's stall and petted the stallion.   The horse nickered, allowing the vampire's hand to rest upon the steed's muzzle before the vampire made his way into the tack room to get Pax's tack.  Coming back, he entered the stall and saddled his horse up, took his reins and led him out into the aisle, latching the door of the stall behind him.   All the while the horse stood patiently.  Closing the barn door behind him, he mounted the horse and took off for the countryside at a gallop, Pax's hooves thundering over the ground as they left the manor.

"Forgive me, that was cruel of me, the mistress was an old friend of my father" Deacon fixed his coat looking to Elaine he motioned that Elaine could go with her. "It was a pleasure meeting you Miss Sayuri, your master has a fine servant and I look forward to meeting him" Deacon bowed before taking his leave, heading into the garden.

Elaine looked to Sayuri examining her every feature. Stopping to examine Sayuri's eyes. "You....are a neko, are you not?"  She stood still waiting for the girl to show her the way, or what to help her with.

Sayuri didn't respond to Deacon's apology or that it was a pleasure to meet her, her mind once more back on the meal she had been preparing for Anwar.  Distracted with thoughts of a meal, it was only the woman's words that brought her attention from the meal to the other vampire before her.   "Yes I am," said Sayuri.  She turned on her heel and began walking, flicking her tail for the vampire to follow.    Being part cat, she moved with grace, a grace that seemed achieved only by her master and mistress and her master's driver as well as her own kind.  Humans didn't have a lot of grace about them when they walked.     She walked slow enough so the other could keep up and wouldn't get lost, though it wasn't saying much as Sayuri had gotten lost this morning trying to find the kitchen set aside for her by the grace of the Lady of the manor.

Entering the kitchen finally, Sayuri went back to chopping the fruits.  "Are you good with making and baking bread?" Sayuri asked.    "If so, you could work on preparing it."   @Ceat6

Arthur continued his strolling by the gardens in a rather carefree mood after talking with the misstress son. Of course it was really funny for him seeing such a youngling as the son of Octavia, that he came to know such a long time ago.

All his thoughts about the subject made him look somehow absent mindedly while walking near the flowers, occasionally stoping to caress some petals or admire one of the arrangements.

Deacon sat on a bench, his gaze peering out over the garden. He hadn't been to the manor since he was a boy. Examining every flower, blade of grace, and sculpture that was there. He felt relaxed for once, knowing that the rosary around Elaine's neck was still in check and that she had fed recently.  A change of masters would probably be good for her, or so he thought. The question he hadn't thought of though was would it be good for him, could he bare to let her go. As he watched the clouds pass by his thoughts had begun to wander, thinking more of that night when he had lost control of himself.

Elaine followed after Sayuri, the girls tail intriguing her. She had watched her for a short period of time mimicking her every movement and step. "I havnt seen one of you in a long time" she admitted before the two of them got to the kitchen. After hearing Sayuri's request about the bread she removed her mesh gloves, Which were embroidered with black roses, and set them down on the counter. "I can make bread if needed, is there any particular type or way your master prefers?" She asks, her tone cold and emotionless.  Every movement, even making the dough was flawless. "Is there something you wish to ask me? Your eyes were on me for quite some time when you answered the door"

Ethel was selling her clothes and when she sold out she bought her thread that she needed  and she mounted Chestnut before riding back towards the manor. She squinted and she eventually made it back and she let Chestnut back into her stall and the girl left and wandered until she got to the garden. She saw someone that she didn't immediately recognize and she walked up to him. She moved her hat so that her red hair fell out and she looked up at him from behind while he was touching the flowers. "Excuse me I don't recognize you sir, what are you doing here?"

"Two times in a roll..?" He couldn't help but mutter before he recovered his composure and answered the question. "I'm a guest in the manor, the name is Arthur Dragwyla." He once more repeated the simple way of introducing himself. "And if my guess is correct, you're Octavia's daughter, right?" He once more made the same guess, after all by what he knew Octavia had a son and a daughter, so it was fairly possible that he just got to meet Cinn's sibling.

Sayuri moved the strawberries aside, pulling two bananas towards her, having peeled them before starting on the strawberries.  A scarab necklace was around her neck, given to her when she had been purchased by Anwar when she was a mere child of ten years.   Anwar gave each of his slaves a scarab beetle jewelry of some type, the jewelry being as old as master and mistress.   "We survive by being hidden, same with the kitsune."  Being from Japan, Sayuri's family had seen a lot of Kitsune and even Inu which were dog demons.   "I have never known a vampire to enslave another vampire before," Sayuri said, confusion in her voice.   "If you could put some berries into the bread and some honey and nutmeg as you are making the bread.  My master prefers that in the morning."   According to Anwar, his master had eaten it that way and Anwar had grown to like that type of bread when he had been human.   @Ceat6

Ethel shrugged and she walked over to the lowers and smelled them before answering the man. "I don't know, what makes you stay that I am?" She gave him a questioning look and she picked one of the flowers and she put it behind her ear so that it was still visible, Elias would probably be awake by now and notice that she was gone already, he probably wouldn't like it that she left by herself but she focused her attention back to Arthur.

Elaine smiled putting the berries, nutmeg, and honey into the bread. Noticing the necklace around Sayuri's neck she formed the bread into a scarab before placing it into the oven. Cleaning her hands off she started to watch her cut the fruit up. "Sayuri, there are even classes of vampires that are looked down upon...I guess you could say I'm his servamp" Elaine sat down in a chair looking at her "your master has given you a beautiful necklace" she complimented, trying to buy herself some time to think of how to tell Sayuri about herself, sighing unable to think of another way. "I guess showing you would be better than telling..." the lights in the kitchen went out, flickering moments before. Elaine had disappeared from her chair, her red eyes peering through the darkness at Sayuri as if she were being hunted. Elaine's eyes were normal like most vampires, because of her mixed breed they were red, and slanted like a cats. Without making a sound, tge lights came back and Elaine was sitting in her chair.

"That's a good question, let me think a little..." the vampire said while assuming a pensative look, apparently feigning being troubled by questions was one of the ways he got to amuse himself. "If I had to pick a reason, I would say that your bearing and the way you walk by the gardens would be two of the most obviously seen reasons." The vampire started explaining in a nonchalant tone, his words being said in a rather clear way, clearly trying to avoid misunderstandings. "Your bearing shows that you had someone teaching you etiquette, as should fit a noble, and the slightly antiquated feeling should come from your mother influence. The way of walking shows that you're used to walking by the gardens, and not even once you appeared to be lost" He continued, revealing that he somehow was clear about her actions despite looking absent mindedly when she first appeared. "All of this coupled with the fact that I know that there's no female guest in the manor that is a Pureblood vampire made me guess that your identity was probably that of Octavia's daughter." He finally finished, his right hand once more moving to caress the nearby flowers while pushing their smell against his nostrils in a delicate way.

Sayuri's ears twitched as she tilted her head at the strange word.    "Thank you," she said, allowing a smile to cross her face.  Pushing the chopped banana aside, she began to work on the second one only for all light to suddenly flicker out.  Nothing could be seen in the darkness except two spots of red.   She was able to see them thanks to her eyes automatically adjusting to the sudden darkness due to her species.    Sayuri's pupils became slitted as she gazed upon the red orbs with fear, her ears laying flat against her head again and her tail arched straight up.    The lights coming back on, revealing Elias sitting in the chair as if she had never left, caused the neko to relax though she couldn't understand why being able to turn the lights on and off at will warranted being enslaved.    "That does not make sense but I know there are ancients and purebloods among vampires."   She didn't know of the lower classes of vampires or of half-vampires unfortunately.  "I guess, if you are happy with it..." she said, wondering if her master or mistress could do anything about this.   She went back to chopping the banana for something to do and soon set that aside.  Gathering the fruits up in her hands, she placed them within a bowl of water and let the fruit sit there for a bit before starting on some porridge.  Letting the fruits soak in the water for a few minutes gave the water a bit of flavor.  "My master gives all of us scarab jewelry," she said, going back to safer topic.   @Ceat6

Ethel nodded and she laughed before holding her hands up in the air before backing away a little ways away. "Alright you got me, my name is Ethel Annabeth Roussel." She  pushed some of the hair behind her ears and she rubbed her shoulder before gesturing towards the flowers. "I'm the daughter of Octavia Rossel and Hillard Cosigan, my father left me at a young age and I was raised by my mother and her son Cinn,a boy from her real marriage, and I take care of these flowers, something that gives me joy."

"I got to know your brother earlier, surprisingly with the same questions as you." The vampire said, a half smile in his face while he slightly shooked his head. "In fact, now that I think about it I should be really suspicious as both of you came asking my identity." He chuckled, clearly the fact brought some amusement to him.

"And your flowers are as beautiful as the one that cares about them, without a doubt." The vampire completed, the compliment coming naturally from his mouth while he caressed the flowers once more absent mindedly.
