Akimu didn't react as Lucians voice echoed in his head. Cuddling further into his side he basked in the comfort and safety he felt. H wished to stay like this forever but knew he would soon have to face reality.

Lucian looks at Akimu "We must go."

Kaoru heard Lucian, sighed and rose. He filed back to the bar to meet up with everyone before they all started to walk back to the dorms. He saw Lucian and Akimu and frowned. He again decided to stay at the back. He smiled to some of the other vampires.

Akimu whined but complied. Getting up he began getting changed his eyes still closed from exhaustion. Unknowing of what he grabbed he blindly dressed and was shocked by what he wore when he finally opened his eyes a little. He was dressed in Lucians shirt which fell to his knees and off one shoulder, and his boots though was missing his socks. Looking up he begged Lucian with his eyes for help.

Lucian smiled and dressed them both before walking out to the other group with Akimu at his side

Akimu smiled as Lucian dressed him and contentedly curled into his side as he led them out of their little room. Nuzzling his chest sleepily he ignored the others stares.

 

[Oberons Veil]

Kaoru frowned at their tardiness but made no mention of it. He simply began ushering the group off towards the Academy. Silent and walking. He wasn't sure why but a horrible feeling began to cross through him. He chose to ignore it, for now at least. "Let's go everyone back to the school and straight to your dorms." With a few grumbles the group began to meander its way back towards the academy.

Akimu frowned as his feelings of peace and contentment was replaced with fear and a certain horrible feeling of pure wrongness the closer they got to the school. Suddenly wide awake and alarmed he peaked out from Lucians side and scanned their surroundings looking for a threat. His arms tightened around Lucian as the feelings increased and no threat could be found.

 

[Oberons Veil]

Lucian, there are Level E's here, somewhere. Their presence is clear, we should quickly get the others back to the dorm. That is my recommendation. Blood is in the air, surely you sense this too. Some of the others seem concerned. "Kaoru looked out into the darkness. "Everyone please pick up the pace, the sunrise is not too long from now. We should be inside our dorms before the Day class begins to wake." Kaoru said. The pace quickened as everyone began to be a bit unsettled. He used his power to calm their minds making them at ease so as to avoid a panic. He made sure to flash Akimu one of his genuine smiles so as to reassure him.

Akimu ignored Kaorus attempt to reassure and calm him down as he focused on the smell in the air. His upper lip curled up unknowingly into a snarl as he recognized the smells in the air. Level E's are nearby and from the smell of blood in the air they were fatefully wounded or at least injured probably the Vatican members work. For once in his life he was thankful for the Vatican's meddling. Day students could have been injured while they were out having fun. It would be the only time to he would make sure of that.

George stood among the burning corpses of Level Es, several of them were impaled by long silver crosses and he leaned back on it. He clapped his hands to remove the ashes and soot before taking a deep sigh. "Amen." he said and as one the corpses turned to sand and the fire vanished.

Lucian let go of Akimu "Take him back to the dorm Kaoru." He walked off into the smell of blood and corpses. He knew he would find a blood bath

George left a note on one of the long silver crosses.

I'll collect my weapons later. Keep better watch next time.

Akimu looked at Lucian with wide worried eyes as he leaves. He knew he could take care of himself but didn't like if there was a slight chance he would be harmed. As he left he turned to Kaoru for comfort until Lucian came back. He would come back.

(well lots has happened over the weekend I'm usually away on weekend so i had plenty of reading to catch up on)


Caroline finished her book before the last lesson had ended so she just started to tap her fingers. There was something funny going on with Karou when he ran off to the bathroom, Akimu followed them returned where he and Lucian began to flirt. The smell of the pure bloods blood filled the room. Placing her hands of the desk she stood and grabbed her book. She shot them a glance then left the room ignoring Karou as she passed him by. Already headed to her room she heard Lucian order everyone back to the dorms. She obliged without protest. Again later they were summoned to check out the strange visitor. She stood near the back and watched the exchange. When George had walked past her she let out a warning hiss, fangs lengthened and all.


She happily went along with everyone to the bar that Lucian had invited them too. It was nice. She wasn't all too comfortable with feeding on someone because she had tried to avoid that situation all together. She sat at the bar with her legs crossed and drank on some tablet water. When she glanced over her shoulder at their leader and and Akimu were getting offly friendly. She blushed and looked away, sorry for intruding. Another vampire came to her and offered her to drink from him but she denied him. She didn't drink from just anyone, she would only drink from someone she deeply cared for. Emptying her glass she stood and went to the dance floor. She swayed and danced to the music until she heard the call for everyone to go home now. That's right, daylight. She followed along with all the others until she reached her door.


Great so now she was trapped in her room like it was a prison during the day time. Whoever this Vatican emissary guy was she was not happy. Suddenly the smell of blood filled her now like tempting steak on a platter slathered in A1 sauce. There must be Level-Es out there doing their dirty work. She went to the window and looked out where she had a far off view of the city. That's where they were, they preyed on unsuspecting victims, luring them in in all kinds of different ways. After looking out the window for so long the sun began to hurt her eyes too much and give her a head ache. She yawned and closed the curtain then walked over to her large soft bed and crawled up onto it and burried herself in the fluffy pillows, her blonde hair resting along her back. She sighed a long sigh and closed her eyes and let herself drift off into a slumber.

Lucian looked at the mangled bodies of the Level E's. He sighed 'Kaoru, Akimu is not to leave the dorm. You are to watch over the dorm and Caroline you are to meet me by the forest. Just follow the smell of burning flesh.'

They all walked back to the dorms cautiously and then separated to go to their separate rooms as daylight pierced the sky. Kaoru stayed with him though acting as a guard. Yawing Akimu collapsed on his back on the soft lavish bed as Kaoru sat in the chair beside it. His eyelids were pulling down with exhaustion but he stubbornly shook his head and resisted the tempting calling of sleep. He wanted to wait up for Lucian. He refused to sleep without him by his side.


Jumping up he ignored Kaoru and headed to the bathroom. A nice hot shower would keep him awake. He doubted it would make him relax though. He was to worried.

Caroline was barely on the edge of sleep when Lucian's voice interrupted her. She opened her eyes and was suddenly alert and energized. She got up and ran out of her dorm to go and meet him. The smell of corpses filled her nose and she chocked on it. This was a drastic change from the smell she found appealing a moment ago. She could have thrown up. It didn't take her long to get there. She jogged up to Lucian. "Sorry if I kept you waiting." She said with a respectful bow then looked around.

"First off here, before everyone smells it." He cuts his wrist and let's the blood run "You'll need to have strength to be with me in this."

Carolines eyes winded and an appalled look crossed her face. She never though that she would be offered Lucian's blood. The wound was going to close! She couldn't deny Lucian, it would be incredibly rude. It only took her a slit second before she quickly took his wrist and drank from him. She barely let herself get a mouthful before pulling back and wiping her lips clean. She could feel new blood in her veins, the Pure Bloods blood. She wanted to serve him well. She looked at him with confident eyes. "I'm ready." She stated.

"Good. Follow me." Lucian walked into the woods, following a very distinct smell

She nodded and followed after him as told. She never realized how much smaller than Lucian she was. She never was really around him enough to tell either. Her grey eyes scanned around them, making sure that she didnt miss anything. Her ears were pricked and listening and her breath was slow and even.

Lucian looked around and sighed. He couldn't see anything and it was making him angry.

Kaoru wandered after Akimu to the bathroom and gave a small knock on the door before entering. He couldn't let Akimu just get out of his sight, Lucian very well might kill him. The rest of the vampires had gone to their dorms and had started going to sleep. He made sure not to look at Akimu, but the warm, humid air felt nice on his skin. He felt colder than usual for some reason. Lucian, are the Level E's dispatched? Kaoru questioned. He really just wanted to go lay down and get some sleep. He was also more tired than usual.
