There are three sisters living by themselves after their mom disappeared. One of them is 13. Ones 17, and ones 18. The youngest sister gets kidnapped. By vampires. The vampires set out to turn her into one of them. Meanwhile in the city, no body knows about these 'vampires'. They plan to make secret attacks. The sisters are joined along by friends, and maybe boyfriends if they have any. The vampires slowly pick who they want to bite. If someone gets bitten, there is no turning back if they finally drink blood. The only way to turn back is to not drink blood for a whole week, which is hard because during the day you will feel like you just want to give up, and cramp all over. Katherine is in danger of becoming a vampire, if she is not saved by her sisters. Her sisters and their friends are targeted too.
