Fantasy Valendor Kingdom |Strict RP|

To say Hadrian was furious at the sudden interception of his plans would have been an understatement. So much so that the diamond squirmed against the recesses of his psyche, promising swift and permanent solution if he would just give in. But no amount of temptation, no matter how inviting would loosen his control over the stone. After all he didn't spend 10 years locked away from the world to make mistakes. With a practiced calm he took a step back, raising his eyebrows in surprise mingled with confusion. At the very least he could still appear as if he was surprised by the mans appearance.

In the next moment he heard a familiar voice. Turning, he met Wicked's polite but stern gaze with a pleasant smile of his own. It had been 2 years since he had last seen his servant and he appeared more or less the same as he had, if not a bit more refined in the palace's staff attire. He watched as the fairy stopped a maid in her tracks and was pleased to find her completely compliant with his orders. It would seem that he had been playing his part well during his time here. Sparing one more 'worried' glance towards Aten Hadrian turned his attention to Minji.

"Please, lead the way."

The girl nodded sheepishly before bowing politely and allowing him to take the first few steps before following herself. Eventually they made it to the main corridors before entering the spacious dining hall. Both of his parents had already taken their spot at the opposite end of the table where he himself took a seat, opposite of his father.

"I apologies for my late arrival. It seems that I had lost track of time examining the castle's impressive architecture."

Loex giggled, crumbling up the fortune as others entered. The Queen and King arrived, followed shortly by both Prince and Servant Princess. The King and Princess of this Kingdom were already here when he got here, so no need to mention them again. Even if he did, what would he mention? The heavenly looks of the Princess? Psh, as if. She's still like...a child or something in his eyes. Little angel she was. Honestly, why did everyone claim angels were beautiful? Innocent looking, yes. Maybe cute. Honestly he'd take a demon preferably. Bit more interesting.

He bowed towards the Hylandian royalty, chuckling as he reached into the multiple pouches at his waist. Between each finger was a throwing knife, meaning eight throwing knives. In each hand, two balls. Two smoke bombs and two firecrackers. As the other Jester seemed to play music, he started juggling and humming. The Mad Jester bounced and juggled, moving around the room. Swooping in through the juggled danger and weaving in between arms and legs was the old crow, Doc. Seemed he was going to give a performance. He made a point to stay a few feet away from the table. Why? Simple. Because juggling knives and glass balls full of smoke might be seen as an assassination attempt if he got too close. Oh, and firecrackers were startling. Instead, all the servants got a nice view as every time his knives came down towards his hands, another thin cut appeared on his gloved hands.

Giggling and bleeding, he showed quite quickly his dedication. Never flinching, giggling never stopping or slowing. He was going to do everything to entertain these folk. Bleed dry or entertain them all. They must smile, even if he collapsed. He even bounced to the beat of the other Jester's music as his juggling went along to his own humming.

The King would clap politely for the Jester and afterwards would merely nod towards Hadrian. "It is fine, my boy. I believe you and my daughter haven't officially met." He would gesture to Shi, which made her sink in her seat slightly. 'Thanks so much Father, now I wish I would have took a bloody invisibility potion.' She cursed in her head whilst growling slightly. She'd merely look at her lap shyly, but you could feel the Moonstones energy with ease.@WhosJack
William's eyes turned back to normal when he felt the top of his jacket grabbed. Confronting Hadrian and the others would have to wait, for now there were more important matter to attend to. Sparing no words for Hadrian or his staff he repositioned himself so he could get an arm under Aten's shoulders, his unseen hand squeezing pinching a piece of paper in the pocket it was resting in. "Come on kiddo, let's see about getting you some help." While William was normally a lot more careful Aten couldn't afford the usual amount of care he took, so he simply teleported them into an empty room, then immediately used a gating spell allowing him and Aten to pass through several areas in a single movement, the end result looking like they had disappeared from one part of the castle and reappeared in another part of it, more specifically at the top of an empty tower that was far from Hadrian and the others. The moment they reappeared in the tower William placed a calming spell on Aten, hoping to relieve at least some of the stress he was sure to be feeling. "Don't worry, I've called a friend for some help. He should be here any-"
William paused mid-statement as another person appeared in a sudden flash of light. "I came as soon as I could. What-" The person stopped short as soon as his eyes settled on Aten. With one look he immediately knew the nature of Aten's being, and what had been done to him. He moved closer to Aten, speaking to him in a way that expressed more than words, exuding an aura of calm to ease Aten's worries and help him feel at peace. "You will be all right, I've seen similar things before and I can help. Be at ease, this will only take a few moments, then all will be as it should." With those words he raised his hands, ready to get to work.
Aten did manage to calm down enough to breathe normally but he was trembling, looking confused and distressed. "What happened to him..?" He asked, wanting at least an explanation as to why the demon wasn't responding at all. He didn't put up any resistance though as he did trust William.

"Something was used to silence him. I've seen this sort of thing happen before when a person's soul fragments and gains separate personalities, but it's always only been a measure taken to prevent harm to the host body or others." As the new arrival explained the basics of what had transpired he set to work, a thin white line of aura surrounding him as he moved his hands into Aten's body. There was no physical feeling resulting from the action, and it looked as though he was simply fazing into Aten's body, as if he wasn't a corporeal being. "The similarities make it easier to reverse the process, but soul magic clearly wasn't used or the process so that makes it slightly trickier, but not unmanageable."

While Aten was being tended to, William decided to fill Zelandro in on what had transpired before, during, and after, as well as sharing his thoughts with both Zelandro and Aten. "It was a visiting prince that did it, he noticed something of Aten that he wanted, so he put something in him to try and control him." William turned to face Aten as he continued. "I think he wanted to appeal to your trusting nature to get you on his side, for what I don't know, but given the energy I'm sensing from these guys I don't think it would be anything good."

The eyes of the newcomer furrow as he continues his work, a scowl forming on his face. "If the two souls had not already started conjoining things might have gone differently, but affecting a soul that overlaps with another soul always leaves an impact on both, and silencing one affects the other regardless of overlapping if you're used to hearing the other's voice." Zelandro had already drawn the cause of Aten's distress to a single point and surrounded it an a soul barrier, completely separating it from Aten. He had also placed a sleeping spell on the demon soul that resided within Aten prior to doing so to avoid any sudden, dangerous shifts as a result of isolating the energy that Hadrian had used in an attempt to influence Aten.

William's expression shifts slightly, but he forces a continued calm expression without noticeable effort as he explains the reason behind Zelandro's words. "Animarian's, once trained, can see the soul inside of a person just by looking at them. There are a few that travel the world and help people, but most of them stay in their homeland. This guy is one of my cousin's, and we've been good friends since a very young age." Just then William noticed that Sif was no longer curled up around his neck. Instead, Sif had moved over to Zelandro and curled up on top of his head, looking like an interestingly shaped fur hat. Zelandro's eyes briefly flicked upward in acknowledgement, but otherwise kept his attention on his work. He had already lifted the sleeping spell and was gently bringing the demon soul within Aten back to full awareness so as to keep from distressing either his or Aten's soul.

Aten remained still, just listening and watching them. "He's been around since I was a newborn..." Aten said to explain just how long the demon had been with him, reaching up to touch the spot of the scar. "Thank you both... I don't know what I'd do if I'd have to listen to myself without his loud and obnoxious laughter in my head..." He said, managing a very, very small smile. Seeing Aten smile was as rare as seeing him not affected by the clashing of his angel and demon sides. It never happened and there were only a few instances when he smiled at anyone but he was genuinely grateful to them, even if he'd have to listen to the annoying demon again.

His work finished and his hands withdrawn from Aten's body, the white aura around him disappears as Zelandro bows, accepting the thanks bestowed upon him and excusing himself. There were other matters he had to return to, not to mention dealing with the foreign energy he had withdrawn from Aten which now looked like a small, dark sphere inside of a larger white sphere shell. Sif returned to his usual spot around William's neck as he turned to give his farewells to his cousin. "Take care Zel, and thank you for the assist. I'm glad we don't have to find out how things would have gone otherwise." Zelandro nodded once and disappeared in a flash of light, and then it was just William and Aten alone at the top of one of the castle's tall, empty towers.

William turned back to Aten, glad that things went well, and more so to see Aten smile. It was a rare sight indeed, and unquestionable proof that Aten feeling better now. "Are you guys going to be okay? Dinner should be starting and I don't know if the King wanted you there or not, but it might be a good idea to take a break for a bit and figure things out."

For a brief second the Jester managed to capture Dylix's attention, an impressive feat considering the man's first and foremost emotion was disinterest. More specifically it was the scent of blood that caught his intrigue as the appealing odor grew more and more apparent at each cut the juggler sustained. He had to admit that the Jester's persistence and unorthodox performance was, by human standards, impressive. It was only when his son made his unexpectedly late arrival did Dylix shift his gaze.

Meanwhile Wicked had continued to travel the halls until finally arriving at the kitchen. As expected it was in a state of organized chaos as the appetizers, main course, and desserts were prepared with steady dedication. The moment he stepped into the room the work efficiency tripled, the chefs and cooks were all aware by now of his strict if not fair conduct —the slackers were sacked and the hard workers were given a minimal raise until the next evaluation quota. Despite their servant, head butler relationship they still felt amiable towards Wicked, 2 whole years being enough to realize that behind the cold exterior was a kind young man. He became good friends with most even while some still tried to discredit his achievements out of envy.

Weaving through the tables and workers, Wicked walked over to the finished dishes. He stopped over one particular plate, reaching into his coat pocket and producing a single black petal before placing it into the tufts of artfully placed cabbage and mesclun. It would be hard to discern from any of the other vegetables but he had no doubts that his master would be able to see it.

"This dish should be specifically given to the prince, understood?"

The addressed servant nodded in understanding. Satisfied, Wicked gave a polite thank you before heading up once again into the main corridors.

Corvana patiently waited at the end of the table, waiting patiently for her food. "My travels were wonderful, thank you. I can't wait to see what your cooks have to offer us." On the inside, she felt somewhat disgusted. However, her attention was mostly focused on the princess. The princess was a quaint little thing, with a very pale complexion and long white hair that draped down to her waist. Yes, this definitely was the Moonstone holder. The witch could feel the benevolent energy pouring off of her. She briefly wondered how Hadrien felt, as the black diamond holder, to feel his polar opposite in the same vicinity as him. Maybe there would be some sort of clash. Either way, Corvana quickly averted her attention when she realized that she was staring. Her gaze traveled down to the white plate in front of her.

Hadrian entered the room, he sat at the chair across from Dylix and to the left of Corvana. She only nodded her head to acknowledge him. He obviously hadn't been just been examining the architecture, but she trained him well enough to know that he probably did not do anything risky. She turned her head to examine the assortment of servants next to them. She spotted her daughter, Layla, first and the jester second. Most people have seemed to assemble here, people from all sides. With a faint smirk, she folded her hands onto the table. Let the games begin.

Tory came back and landed on Ashton's shoulder once again. "He's still there Ashton. But there is a strange woman their. I think it might be the queen from the neighboring kingdom." Ashton thought this over and chuckled lightly to himself. His voice slightly echoing off the nearby buildings. "Maybe I should just go and check this out myself then." He put his slender hands in his pockets and started to walk again. "Shouldn't be that hard." I think I'll be a servant today Tory. How does that sound?" "Do you think you'll get away with it Ashton?" "Of course. I always do."
As Ashton tried to remember the path to the palace, he heard a loud thump come from the current path he was on. As he looked farther down, he saw a tall, figure and a pile of logs. "Interesting. Tory, you know what to do." The raven flew off and headed towards the tree. "Let's see what we have to work with."
Kathy seemed to be alerted by him saying that and jogged after her brother "B--Brother! Hold on a second!" she yelled despite him not being that far away from him. Again he didn't bother to turn around and said in a much more commanding voice "Go home." Vince was moving fast even if he wasn't actually running. It was more a speed walk actually.

To keep up with him she decided to manifest her wings. It was much faster than her walk and less tiring to fly. She flew next to him and quickly started to talk
"Like I was saying! I brought you some fruit y'know so you wouldn't starve!" she held up a basket to show him but of course he didn't even glance at it. "Vampires are dead. Dead things don't need food. Go home" she flinched.

She stopped flying next to him for a few seconds and Vince had thought he finally got rid of her. Turns out that wasn't the case. She flew in front of him
"That's what I thought! So I brought tomatoes and tomato juice!"

"I'm allergic. Go home." he responded. Of course he wasn't actually allergic it was a way to get her to go away. He already knew she was going to follow him for awhile. If she hadn't given up already that meant she was planning to follow him the whole way...When they were younger it was so easy to get her to leave him alone...He missed those days.

I just wanted to add as a sidenote that even though it's not written down Hadrian most definitely noticed his beloved sister @Lithia

"Yes, this would be our first official meeting. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, your highness." Hadrian greeted, smile warm with just a hint of hidden teasing. The slight exaggeration of the word 'official' would've been inconspicuous to the others but between both parties it was a clear reminder of what had taken place in the throne room. Speaking of which, the moonstones energy felt even more palpable than it had before, possibly from the close proximity. As a result the 'attraction' grew somewhat, emphasizing the diamonds need to either destroy or envelope it's powerful counterpart. Hadrian himself wasn't sure how he felt —a very rare occurrence. But meeting his mother's expectant gaze drew him back to reality. He wasn't meant to feel at all but to finish an objective he's been training the past eighteen years to accomplish. Indecision, mistakes, failure, and emotion were all out of the equation. And considering his earlier mishap he would have to move carefully for the rest of the coming evening.

That however didn't stop him from noticing the tiny figure that discreetly entered and made their way behind the dancing Jester. Hadrian didn't even need to glance in their direction to know it was the little hybrid that he had earlier interacted with. Considering the circumstances he deemed it unnecessary and a hazard to initiate any form of contact after unintentionally raising the young man's suspicions.

'Better to let the waters settle than to provoke the coming storm.'

The wise words of his father echoed their agreement. Besides if Hadrian was correct in his assumptions then the servant would eventually come to him out of sheer curiosity. And so he let his gaze travel back to the Princess, offering the shy girl another welcoming smile.

She'd get herself together and returned the smile, mumbling softly. "Likewise." The king would merely raise a eyebrow but stopped as more waiters and waitresses came in, with either dishes of food or bottles of wine. One waitress would fill the prince's silver goblet with red wine as a waiter did the same for Dylix and Corvana. The rest would place dishes of roast chicken, potatoes, vegetables of all sorts and gravy on the table before they went away to prepare desert.

Loex looked at the incoming food, reminded of how hungry he was. This wasn't the time for him to eat though, he didn't even have his mask off after all. As his silken gloves were shredded, along with his hands, he looked around. Most of them seemed amused, so he tossed the knives straight up whilst pocketing the smoke bombs.

He'd spread his fingers a little, closing them once a knife appeared between them, pocketing them as well. With a small bow and a quick adjustment of his mask, leaving a red hand print upon it, he looked behind him. Huh, that servant from before was here. He turned back around and snapped, only wincing slightly as his crow flew up. "Take these and drop 'em." He spoke softly, holding the two firecrackers up.

Doc the crow squawked and took both firecrackers, flying over the table and dropping them. Upon striking the table, both popped loudly, causing the Jester to giggle before turning around, going to talk to Aten. "Hehe, hello. Do you know if there's a, haha, doctor in this castle?" Upon hearing doctor, Doc the Crow landed upon his shoulder and cawed. "No, not you Doc." The crow looked down. "You, hehe, see. My hands are a bit, haha, cut up." He held up his bloodied hands, cuts everywhere.

Aten only watched as the jester pocketed the knifes and smoke bombs. He tilted his head, watching the jester speak to him before he reached into his pocket and pulled out a clean white handkerchief, offering it to the jester. "Wipe the cuts with it. It's imbued with healing magic" He said, his voice a simple murmur. He had the handkerchief because he used to practice with his dagger a lot and would get little cuts so the healers gave it to him. He felt like the jester would need the handkerchief more than him.

If the jester wiped his hands, he would be able to see the cuts heal in a few seconds and the blood gone, the handkerchief not dirty at all. @Loex Ibetink

With Aten properly treated and the visiting royalty at dinner now William didn't have much to do...then again, his stomach suddenly roared at him, having been all but forgotten. William hadn't eaten since breakfast, after all, so it looked like it was the dinner hall for him. Actually, that was a good idea for keeping a discreet eye on the visiting royalty as well. He didn't trust them, and Hadrian had done nothing to allay his suspicions. With that thought firmly lodged in mind William once again used a gating technique to appear at the dining hall and sat with some of the soldiers. He struck up a conversation with a few of them about their duties for the day, anything of not happening, and the usual mix of complaints and information. One of them said a guard on duty out front was dealing with someone insisting that they had an appointment with the king while he was on his way from his post, which in and of itself was interesting.

Shortly after William had gotten his fill he noticed that Aten had arrived at the dining hall and was currently speaking with the visiting jester, who had been entertaining those in the dining hall with a rather dangerous looking form of entertainment. William reached over for a piece of steak and held it up for Sif to eat. One up side to Sif remaining in his smaller form was that it didn't take much to fill him, even though he insisted on being in his great wolf form for breakfast. While feeding Sif, William had waved at Aten to get his attention, his other hand lowering as Sif had ripped the food right from between his finger tips and began wolfing it down, just like he always did. He rested one arm in his lap, the hand making a small motion to cause an item from one of his pockets to drop in one of Aten's pockets via space magic just noticeably enough for Aten to notice, but not noticeably for those around him to notice any movement, timing the magic for while Aten was looking at him and giving him what would look to everyone else like a friendly greeting, but what Aten would recognize as William saying 'I left you something, just in case there's trouble again. If you're in a bind, I'll be there as quick as I can.'

Nel "Pierrot" Enimagak

Noticing the other Jester retreating towards Aten, or so Pierrot thought; It was his turn to shine. He put the meditation balls back in his pocket, he hopped on a sphere of air and slowly shifted around the room. Whistling the Song of Storms, he would use his water magic to make small cloud above the table. Suddenly, thunder and 'rain' came down, only to have the 'rain' dissipate into nothing inches above the table. Should anyone reach up to try to touch the 'rain' they would be met with a moist mist instead.

Should anyone panic, a warm feeling would envelop them, and make them feel at ease until they were no longer panicked. After a moment of whistling, he spoke, "Feel the sound of rain and thunder, and let me tell you a riddle!" He paused until hopefully everyone was staring at him. "I am claimed to be best when close, yet I am always full of malice towards you. I wish you dead, yet at times we must join together to fight another of myself. What am I?"

Present in room (?).
