"I've got pressure, I'm in deep. Seems everybody wants something from me. I was a lover, now a thief. I'll take your breath away and set you free." The princess would sing as she walked through the castle halls to the throne room, her father spoke of some guests from a neighbouring kingdom coming to stay for a few weeks. She played with her necklace which admitted a soft purple glow as she continued to sing until she got to the double oak doors, where her father sat in his throne inside. She never met her mother, who she missed dearly but apparently she was a Angel and had to go to heaven on a mission.

Shi looked down at her dark blue dress with a silver heart neck line and dusted it off before raking a hand through her long, hip length white hair, making it look presentable as she opened the doors and crept inside the room.

Her unusual pink eyes eyes looked around until she spotted her father, speaking to Aten, which left her slightly shocked yet curious.

Aten had his head softly bowed as the King spoke to him, his raven black thigh-length hair hanging from the high ponytail tied with a silk silver ribbon. Aten had extremely long hair, even if he tied it up. When tied up, it still reached to his upper thigh. "...yes, I understand, my King.. I'll show our guests around and tend to their needs" He said. His mismatched eyes stared at the ground. Rebel.. why should I take care of some strangers? I'm barely part of the staff... A voice hissed in his ear and he tensed up a little, closing his eyes and thinking to himself for the voice to go away.. after a while, it did.

"If that's all, I wish to be excused..." He whispered softly, hoping he was done here but.. of course not. The King proceeded to order him not to leave the palace walls all throughout the stay of the visitors. 'How long will they even stay here..?!' He thought but sighed, giving a nod before he bowed and walked off, sparing Shi only a sideways glance. It was slightly obvious the teen wasn't pleased with the orders he was given. @Lizzy Xio

Ashton Whistled softly to himself as he walked the roads of the kingdom. The roads where he used to play with his friends in the orphanage. The stubs where he once ad beautiful, black wings, itched and ached to fly once again. His blue, short cut hair swaying in front of his grey eyes from time to time. it had been two years since he left, and nothing had changed. "I wonder. Tory, can you go check out the palace, I can't remember if the king had stepped down or not." The Raven took off and flew towards the palace. 'Two years can change a lot. Lets just hope that some things haven't.' Ashton continued to walk down the path and began to sing in a low haunting voice.

"With scepter in hand. His rein will live on. With daughter by his side. His heir will be strong. Who knows what next, with a curse and a hex. Who knows what's next?"

"Don't worry," Corvana smirked and stared at the king with her calm, blue eyes. "We won't be here long. We just wanted to meet our neighbors." And take your princess, the key for taking over the world. She tilted her hat at the gullible King and looked down at her most precious possession. "Isn't that right, dear Hadrian." Her face tilted toward her illegitimate son. If you didn't know any better, then the expression would be mistaken for a motherly compassion. However, this was just a facade. In fact, this was all just a hoax, a scheme to take what was rightfully hers. She spoke as if her current appearance, a girl who was covered in swatches of blue and full skirts, wasn't just words on her lower back. Thankfully, it wasn't very different from her usual appearance. Though, she preferred reds. Red was the color of the blood that ran through people's veins, and it also represented passion and anger, two emotions Corvana knows very well. But that was unimportant. The important thing was that her disguise was without fault, and the king didn't suspect a thing. Even if he did, a simple spell could solve the problem easily.

She glanced at the king again and winked with a wide smile on her face. "We'll be going to our rooms now. See you for dinner later." Her hands dusted the skirt in a way that was reminiscent of a young girl, and she walked out of the room, not checking if her "royal family" followed or not.

The Jester smiled beneath his unnerving mask of death. How amusing, such easy deciet was. No one seemed to even suspect this was all a lie. Honestly, not even he knew how everything worked out like this, but he felt glad it did. Why, he could laugh at how simple this all was. In fact, he did. Laughing softly as the Princess entered. Laughing as the annoyed servant left. He even found how the Queen spoke to the King to be amusing. Of course, as the Queen left, the Jester took a deep bow and followed. His cult was made to serve. Assassin and Fool, he'd shadow the Royal Family unless told to do otherwise. Afterall, who'd in their right mind would think about bothering royals with a Jester from Hell following them?

Aten had actually waited just beyond one of the doorless exits of the throne room, through which the visitors left. He pushed himself off the wall and with a graceful, fluent step, was in front of the queen, bowing his head softly. "Excuse me for the bother.. but your rooms are not that way.." He said, his voice feminine as it usually was. If it weren't for the pants and button up pure white shirt he was wearing, he'd surely be mistaken for a woman.

"Please.. if you'd follow me" He said softly, peering up at the visiting queen. Don't trust... Hate.. Hate them all.. ha..haha.. Kill them.. burn them alive!! The voice hissed loudly in his ear, making him visibly shiver. His angel side, if just for a moment, lost its grip on the demon and its dangerous aura rolled off the innocent looking teenager.. if just for a single moment. @verifiedkat @Loex Ibetink

Layla stood beside her family dressed in servants clothing. She fidgeted, annoyed that she didn't get to play the part of a royal like the rest of them. She made sure to keep all of her comments to herself so as not to give away their deception. As a servant of the 'royal' family she must only speak when spoken to, or at least until out of earshot of anyone other than her family and their trusted allies.

The young witch watched the exchange between her mother and the king very closely not wanting to miss a thing. A quick glance at the jester told her he was taking note of how things unfolded as well, probably for his own amusement though. Though he wore a mask Layla could tell he was enjoying the situation. From where she was standing she couldn't quite see her brother or father's face be she imagined they were listening closely as well. They all had a part to play after all.

Silent as one would expect a servant to be Layla followed her mother out of the grand room and into the hall beyond.

A grunt could be heard as Vince kicked over a stack of red maple tree logs that had been rotting on a path leading to his new profit point. It didn't take much effort since being the son of a vampire provided him with strength that no human could be capable of. The tree logs rolled down a hill and crashed into a much larger tree that now had a giant hole that showed the softer inside of it.

The squeak sound was heard and he didn't even have to glance behind him to recognize that overly sweet presence. There was a nervous laugh before a tallish girl with waist long hair, one side being white and the other black. Her hair was kind of covering her face but he already knew that her eyes were as unsual as her hair because they also were two different colors, left was a darkish ocean blue that turned to sky blue near the bottom and her right one was a reddish color with yellowish orange near the bottom. He didn't need to see her face to know she had tears in her eyes....She always did.

He stared up at the girl who had leaves in her hair and a few bugs crawling on her, none poisonous....unfortunately. After a minute and twenty-eight seconds she raised her head and softly spoke with a awkward smile on "H-Hey big brother...A-After you left I decided to bring you....Um...ah..." his stared on her had made her stiff and she couldn't catch her words.

"Go home." he said without a once of feeling and went off on his way again.

(Turns out I'm not leaving yet...)

Tory came back and landed on Ashton's shoulder once again. "He's still there Ashton. But there is a strange woman their. I think it might be the queen from the neighboring kingdom." Ashton thought this over and chuckled lightly to himself. His voice slightly echoing off the nearby buildings. "Maybe I should just go and check this out myself then." He put his slender hands in his pockets and started to walk again. "Shouldn't be that hard." I think I'll be a servant today Tory. How does that sound?" "Do you think you'll get away with it Ashton?" "Of course. I always do."

As Ashton tried to remember the path to the palace, he heard a loud thump come from the current path he was on. As he looked farther down, he saw a tall, figure and a pile of logs. "Interesting. Tory, you know what to do." The raven flew off and headed towards the tree. "Let's see what we have to work with."

Being a member of a cult that served a coven of witches, that quick little display of a dangerous aura from this servant didn't go unnoticed. He reached for one of the three pouches on his waist, the middle one actually. He pulled out three small spherical objects. Two firebombs and a firecracker. Best to be prepared. He chuckled softly as he started juggling.

"So, hehe, cold there? Or do you, he, normally shudder?" His voice was soft, almost melodic. With his personality, was this a good or bad thing? Doesn't matter, busy feigning concern over this potential threat. He took a quick glance around to note if anyone was around other than Corvana and this servant. Oh look, Layla. He kinda tilted his head in acknowledgement. Couldn't wave, busy juggling. Couldn't bow, currently she was to be treated like a servant. Poor her.

An amused smile danced across his lips as Hadrian nodded at his mother's inquiry. For once the emotion did not have to be stimulated, finding Corvana's satin blue dress and demure countenance to be good motivators. In his case he did not have to go to such lengths to change his appearance and sported nothing but a black traveling coat over a simple white dress shirt. A dark grey tie was wrapped around his collar matching both his dress pants and polished leather shoes. Over all the garb could be mistaken for a servants uniform if not for the figure wearing them. His poise radiated nothing but a comfortable self-assurance, as if the room could erupt into flames at any moment and he'd still appear completely complacent amid the furious heat. Ultimately Hadrian didn't need to appear like royalty because others already assumed it.

The moment passed quickly between his mother and the king, insignificant chatter that he opted to ignore knowing full well that Layla would be recording each and every word that passed between them. All of his interest was placed on a single point of light that repelled the darkness within him. It was a curious sensation, while he could feel the diamond in his own soul responding with what could only be the moonstone it wasn't out of malice. In fact he felt a 'pull' instead, as if the dark was somehow being
attracted to the light in same instance that it was being pushed away. 'So this is the harmony that balances the world...' He mused, giving a polite bow to the King before turning to exit the throne room. It was then that his eyes shifted to the corner of the room where he met the startled and shocked expression of the princess. Evidently it would seem that she meant to keep her presence unknown giving him all the more incentive to pin her down with a teasing gaze but otherwise polite smile as he continued to walk forward. At this current time they could do nothing but exchange glances but soon he would have his opportunity.

The moment the imposing oak doors shut behind them they were greeted by a young man, an attendant if his submissive posture and downward gaze was anything to go by. Curiously however his delicate appearance was as deceptive as the halo of angelic light surrounding him. It only took the sudden intoxicating coils of darkness to come festering to the surface, no matter how brief, to confirm Hadrian's suspicions. Perhaps he's finally found his bishop.

"Are you alright?" The question was as innocent as the concerned expression Hadrian wore, knowing full well that his actions were being scrutinized by the insistently observant Jester. They certainly had an interesting set of servants in this castle.

Corvana examined the long haired man that stepped in front of her, her face briefly trading her calm expression for a scowl. She hated being interrupted. If this was a member of her coven, she might have exploded with anger or made a large display of magic to intimidate said person. However, she was in a foreign world. These people do not understand her ways; hopefully it won't be like this much longer. Her expression returned back to its neutral position. "Oh, really? I do apologize. I started auto- piloting myself through the halls." Her mouth flashed the most innocent smile she could ever bring herself to perform. On the inside, she was already repulsed by her way of dress and speech. But having to apologize to a servant? It made her feel powerless. Silently, she decided that anyone that talked about these events would be severely punished.

The boy didn't need much of an answer though. He was obviously a servant, judging by his clothes and submissive way of speech. He only continued, stating that he would show them the way to their rooms. He looked so small so unassuming- at least until a large amount of energy rolled off of him, like a wave at the beach. She relished for a second in the demonic energy, feeling the energy inside her spark and clash with the strange new aura. Yet, as soon as it appeared it was gone. How-? I hadn't suspected a thing before. Maybe he isn't such a simple servant. Maybe, just maybe, he could be a new ally. If she could just appeal to that side of him, then maybe they could have ears on the inside. Alas, not was not the time for recruiting new Coven members. Between wearing these wretched clothes and having to speak without any sense of authority, Corvana was done for today.

Taking a soft breath to recollect himself, he straightened up and cleared his throat. "I'm fine. Now, this way.." He said and started walking in the other direction. His way of walking and how he held himself were relaxed.. for a servant anyway. His long hair swayed behind him while his petite and graceful body seemed to almost slide across the floor. For a servant he definitely wasn't affected or scared of royals.. considering he was used to their power.

He closed his eyes for a moment as he walked, blocking out the sadistic and pleased laughter of the voice that made him lose control if only for a second. He hated it, he despised that little voice so much, even more so when it appeared in his dreams all the time and caused death and destruction to everything that appeared in them. He didn't even remember a night where he had a nice rest without a painful nightmare.

Layla listened as her mother apologized to the servant who was to show them to their rooms. She didn't have to meet her mother's gaze to know that this was not to be spoken of without harsh consequence. Layla made a mental note to give the coven leader some space, after this little incident she would likely be in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

The witch focused her attention back to the servant. There was something off about him, something frighteningly powerful. The thought of that intrigued Layla and since he was a servant she could speak to him without it seeming strange, as long as there were no royals around of course.

She wondered if her brother felt anything being so close to the moonstone and what his thoughts were on the servant. Her father was poised and quiet as usual and she could hear soft laughter coming from the jester. As their little group followed the odd servant down the hall Layla had at least a shred of hope now that this place wouldn't be so boring. She might not have a huge role in her mother's take over but there seemed to be little mysteries here to pass the time.

As soon as the servant turned his back Hadrian's expression melted into one of indifference. If he had sensed the the boy's potential then it would be doubtful to assume that his mother hadn't as well. No doubt they would discuss this new development in a more private setting but judging her ever hardening expression, she was done playing 'nice' for the moment.

They continued down the spacious corridor, his mother at the front and his father's imposing stature silently walking beside her, his white hair the same discolored shade as his sisters. Hadrian himself took after Corvana, his being the color of charcoal black while retaining both of his parents deep red eyes. While his biological appearance deceptively matched theirs he always questioned why he never developed into a half-vampire. From there he began to notice more and more irregularities until he made the mistake of bringing his suspicions forward to the last person he should have. Safe to say that Corvana
thoroughly answered all of his questions that day.

Eventually Hadrian turned his attention back to the attendant. He considered feeding the demonic counterpart with enough dark energy to allow it to take possession of the physical vessel. A quick, easy solution that he dismissed without hesitation. No, he would have the pleasure of
persuading the little angel first. But considering his current status it would raise unnecessary suspicion if he were to intimately associate himself with a palace servant. His sister on the other hand would be able to play her part in his stead. For now at least.

As they walked, the Jester kept up his juggling. He didn't trust this servant as far as he could throw him...wait, he actually probably could throw this scrawny servant a fair distance. He trusted this servant about as much as he trusted a crazy man wielding a stick with a knife taped to thr end of it. A knife stick...or was it a spear? Eh, he's somewhat just rambling on in his own mind at this point. Back to the current situation, no?

According to the servant he was fine, but he trusted this as much as some crazy man with a knife stick. He giggled and nodded his head. "Well, hehe, if you say you're fine." As they walked he felt a small prick on his left wrist. Seems he didn't adjust his knives properly. Oh well, at least his outfit was already red. No one shall ever know, until he tries to fix it, or if someone smelled it, like the King. Surely the King wouldn't do anything out in the open. He started to hum something as they walked, still juggling the firebombs and firecracker. It sounded suspiciously like Pop Goes the Weasel. The Prince seemed to be indifferent to the entire thing, and the mock servant Layla appeared to be thinking on something. Corvana goes without saying as to not being happy.

After walking for about a minute and up a flight of stairs, they arrived at a silent and empty hallway. He walked to a set of doors and pushed them open. There was a large king bed in the room. "This room is for the Queen and King, if either of you prefer a separate room, the one right next to it is empty" He pointed out to the two visiting royals. He then indicated to the opposite wall to a door. "And that is the room for the Prince" He said. "All the other rooms in this hall are free for use as well" He said as he didn't know if the Jester and the female servant were told to stay elsewhere, so he just mentioned the rest of the rooms were free. "If there is anything you need, feel free to call or pull the strings by your bedsides" He added before he bowed softly and walked away. Since he forgot he was still in their line of sight, he untied his hair and it fell around him while his posture straightened up to how he usually held himself. He didn't look much like a servant when he did that thought he didn't look like his respective gender either. He rubbed his eyes with a sigh, sometimes his mismatched eyes tended to hurt and he also needed to drink water soon.

After the servant's back was turned Layla met her brother's gaze thinking that he probably wanted to interrogate the servant but couldn't. She however could. "Excuse me," she called after him in a soft spoken voice. She played her role by curtsying to the 'royals' before hurrying after him.

When she made it over to him Layla smiled politely and said in a hushed voice, "Would you mind showing me where the ummm, servant things are? In case Her Majesty the queen needs anything. I would hate to wander around lost and keep her waiting." Maybe she wasn't a perfect servant but it wasn't her fault, Layla wasn't used to doing this sort of thing and she wasn't lucky enough to have servants of her own so this was a new role for her. She was far from terrible at it though.

"Also," she whispered so only he would be able to hear her, and maybe her father if he was paying attention, "Are you sure you're alright? you seemed a little uneasy back there." The witch placed her hand on his arm to show concern because honestly she was concerned - just not about the servant's well being. He didn't need to know that part though.

Shi would blink, all sorts of thoughts running through her brain but most of all panic and interest. The Prince looked at her, seemingly knowing she was there which made her nervous as she preferred to be like a ghost, observing from afar yet he noticed her, and looked at her with an array of expressions, lust? Interest? Probably but she wasn't sure. Sighing, she gave a polite bow to anyone in the room and left, heading back to her room which was another two corridors away from where Aten was supposedly leading her elders, who arrived shortly.

A hour passed, the Princess was laying on her Queen sized bed with silky silver sheets, she raked a hand through her long albino locks and thought about her mother who she hasn't seen in years as she had a mission to complete in heaven. She was part angel, yet still had to grow her wings which was rather weird as most Angel's got theirs at 12, and here she was 16 and no wings.

Aten was just starting to pull his hair over his shoulder, combing it with his fingers when the visitor's servant girl spoke to him. He blinked, servant things? The only things he knew the king or the princess usually needed were either snacks or drinks or a book or something, there wasn't much a servant here had to do except clean and tidy things. "..the kitchen is down the stairs and through the door to the right, down another set of stairs.. other than that, I don't really know except for the library" He said. It probably looked rather strange for a servant to not know what he needed for his master or mistress, then again, Aten wasn't really a servant more than a adopted child with just about the same purpose as a companion dog for the princess.

Insult her, look at her funny.. hehe.. make fun of her, she's strange.. Don't trust the strangers.. The voice kept hissing in his ears and he had to shake his head with a frustrated sigh. The voice was acting up more than it did most of the time and he had a sneaking suspicion it was because of the visitors. To the girl, it'd most likely seem like the sigh was directed at her. He did visibly move away from the contact with the servant. He usually didn't mind it but this time his body just moved away without his immediate control. "I'll be fine..." He said quietly though the tone of his voice was rather doubtful and held little to no truth.

"Well thank you so much for the information," Layla said with a smile. It took a lot not to speak sarcastically and keep up her disguise but it would do her family no good if she ruined their plans so early in the game. The servant seemed like he didn't want much to do with her with his blatant sigh and she couldn't help but wonder if he had backed away at her touch because of her dark powers. There was no way to bring something like that up though.

Layla however wasn't quite ready to give up yet. She folded her arms across her chest, "Sorry to impose but are you new here?" she asked him bluntly. "You don't seem to know a lot about this place." She tilted her head back toward her family, "It's too bad really because His Royal Highness the Crown Prince has requested a tour of this lovely castle. I was hoping you might be interested in being his guide?" She had said that last part loud enough for Hadrian to hear. Layla hoped he would be pleased she gave him the opening he needed to get close to someone in the castle but also to get a grand tour of the place so they would know each and every spot of importance. "I do apologize if this is asking too much," she smiled sweetly as she curtsied. There, she thought, now as long as he accepts part one of the plan is set in motion. She wanted to make her mother proud but she doubted there would be any praise in her current mood.
