Marcus transforms into a magical girl (it's basically him wearing a dress) and gains new powers. After he transforms, he can only use his powers after he says the words "By the power of love coursing through my veins and the justice that lies deep in my heart, I, Marcus Black, will punish you!". If someone is in danger or hurt, Marcus has to help them in his normal form or else he will transform. However, if they are in serious danger or seriously hurt his ability will make him transform immediately. Apart from this, he can trigger transformations whenever he wants.

Decent (he has the potential to be very good but hardly uses his powers for obvious reasons)

Marcus is usually quiet and is rarely the one to start a conversation. Most of the time he's moody and rude which leads to people avoiding him. The reason he doesn't talk to people because that usually always leads to them asking him about his magical ability, which he is very embarrassed about. Although he isn't very social, Marcus enjoys human interaction and doesn't like to be alone. When he has a group of friends, he is very loyal to them and will do a lot to keep them happy. Even though he hates transforming, he will willingly use his ability if anyone is in danger.


Background:


"That's not something you would ask someone you had just met."


The magical girl ability was very common in Marcus' family. When he was younger, he used to pray everyday that he'd get another ability. However, he was very unlucky and when he first transformed when he was 8, he knew he was stuck with this magical ability. At first, when he got the power it was very unstable and he kept transforming randomly. He only managed to control his ability at age 10 and by then everybody in his school knew about his magical ability. He was teased and bullied everyday which has made him hate his power, the pink dress didn't help either. Eventually, he ended up going to Valakerra in the hope that there were people who had abilities worse than his.

Marcus has black hair and brown eyes. He is slightly taller than average and looks masculine. When he has transformed, he wears a pink magical dress, holds a wand in his hand and has his hair tied in two bunches at the side (which he likes to immediately remove).

Amy is very shy around people, but when she's nervous or under a lot of pressure, her brain will randomly select one person and she will go attempt to talk to them. She doesn't like having to look up from the ground, mostly because (A. She's so short she'd have to look up anyway, and (B. Her power makes it horribly awkward for her to look at people.


Amy was raised by her mom, since her father had died when she was only 3 months old. Her older brother killed himself when Amy was nine, and she saw him die, which still gives her horrible nightmares at times. Her mom had her put in a normal human school for a while, before sending her to a magical school. But things... didn't really work out. Just about everyone hated having her around, so finally, Amy's mom sent her to Valakerra, with the prayer that things would work out better.

Amy has white hair, and faded green eyes. She has a small frame, and hardly any bust. She's only 5'3, which can be considered short. She dresses in dark shirts, skinny jeans, and black combat boots. She never takes off the necklace around her neck; it was a birthday gift from her older brother, given to her when she was 6. If anyone tries to remove it, she'll freak, and have a breakdown.


Amy's ability is that she can see through everything. This would be really useful, if she knew how to control it, that is. She also has another ability; the ability to control water and ice. This is one she is better able to control, luckily. However, her seeing-through stuff ability also applies to clothes, etc., so she hates to look up from the ground because if she does, she might very well end up accidentally seeing someone naked, or worse.


Her skill level is decent, but mostly only because of her water/ice manipulation ability.

Personality:

Val is a very happy and overconfident girl. Every time she meets someone new, she makes them think that she's amazing at her magic but in reality she can't even set fire to a tree. Although she is a disappointment to her family she keeps on wanting to make them proud. Other than magic she loves to draw, and that she has always been good at. If you become friends with her she will most likley begin to brag about how she'll protect you with all her might. Even if it sounds rediculous with the amount skill she has, she truly would protect her friends no matter what even with her bare hands.

Background:

The Dragonscale family is a well-known fire caster bloodline, every single person in the family-line has had remarkably strong powers all but one - well that's not true all but two. Her oldest ancestor who created the whole family name was also a weakling at the beginning but mastered the fire technique that has since been used by the Dragonscale family only.


Her mother and farther won't recognize her but her grandfather loves her very much. She has been to multiple magical doctors, but no one understands why she's so bad at magic. She left for Valakerra in protest of her parents.

Appearance:


She has incredibly pale skin due to her parents keeping her indoors and hidden most of her life, her hair and lips are remarkably red like all of her family members, she's tall and slender and her eyes are green which is rare for Dragonscale's to have.

Magical Ability or power: Fire (Really it's lightning but she hasn't discovered)

Skill level: Terrible

Extra: It should be noted that she's incredibly strong when it comes to hand to hand combat and withstanding/breaking others spells.


I'm planning on her finding out her real powers are lightning.

Because she was always lonely she found a ghost in her parents room. She goes everywhere with the ghost. The ghost is her only friend. Also she has a psychotic side which switches with her when she gets mad. Because she was rich when she was aloud to go out on Saturdays people used to attack her so she turned invisible and attacked them with a sword she carries everywhere she goes just in case she is attacked. She is going to Valakerra because she wants to go to the same school as her father. But not for the same reasons as him.

Supernatural Ability

Abilities:


Enchanted Sewing Needle

This ability allows the user to produce otherworldly thread. With this, they may create anything you can make with a regular sewing set. For example, this permits them to make dolls, teddy bears, clothes, etc. Once the user creates something with this ability, they may control the object at will and share senses, like sight. This includes when the user stitches or sews an object not originally created by their hand. Objects generated by this thread may be animated and set to "Auto-Pilot", allowing it to move and speak by itself. The controller may both deactivate Auto-Pilot, and disassemble one of their creations at any time. This thread can bond any two objects, so it is able to accomplish tasks, such as closing wounds or closing something shut. Both the thread and needle may only be used by its creator, for it is made of the user's energy. Since this is made of the owner's magical power itself, the controller may both alter the its properties and may send it in any desired direction, allowing the user to use this ability as a weapon also. Using property alteration to the user's advantage, they may sew artificial limbs onto their own body, such as wings or extra arms.




Copy-Kat

This ability allows the user to perform two actions. The first, would be to copy the ability of anyone she comes into contact with temporarily. The first part of this ability plays out like a one-round game of tag. The time limit will be set at 5 minutes once the user says "Tag" and make some sort of contact with her target. If the victim of the user's ability wishes to get the copy of their power back, they must participate in the game of tag and make contact with the user back. If the target doesn't tag the user back before the 5 minutes run out, the user gets to keep the power until she plays again. But, if the user loses the game, she cannot attempt to "play tag" with the same person for another 30 days. The second action this power allows, is being able to transfer a power they copied to one of the enchanted thread creations. Once an ability is transferred to one of her puppets, she has to set it to Auto-Pilot in order for the power to work. Each puppet may only have 2 powers at most. But, if she disassembles the puppet, it will lose the transferred ability even if it's reanimated.

Richard has some sort of a god complex, meaning he believes he is better then everyone else at all times, no matter what. Teachers? No problem. Older students? Bow down to him. Younger students? You are all my subjects. Now, you can imagine this gets him hardly any friends. Actually, it gets him now friends. But he doesn't care. No one is good enough for him, and the only person he needs is himself.

Background:

Richard came from a not so wealthy family. His single mother struggled to gain money and resorted to...tactics that involved selling herself for a while. And Richard knew all about it. He would wake up one day to find some random man in the house. Every day, a new one. Heck, some even had the audacity to hit him and order him around like they were his parents. But what could Richard do? Richie was just a little, 12 year old kid who had no power. Just anger. Anger and hatred.

But, one day, he snapped. And once he did, he felt complete. Something from deep inside of him, something he could always feel but could never access had finally burst out of it's prison. The new man for the day was suddenly on the ground, not capable of moving an inch. Watching the guy squirm and beg, Richard realized something. He was born for this, or he thought he was. The boy felt like he could control everything. Then, with a smirk, he broke the man's spine without touching him.

His mother witnessed what her son had just done and knew instantly that he needed to go. Rejected all of his life, he was being sent off once more. And this time, to a school? Sure. In Richard's eyes, just more subjects for him to rule over.

Appearance:

After Richard had unlocked his powers, his hair had turned into a silvery white colour and his eyes turned into a light shade of red, making him look something inhuman like. He always has a smug grin on his face, and to compliment his facial expression, he never looks tense and is always rather loose. His clothing is the same. He should be able to wear whatever he wants, so loose fitting clothing is fine for him.

Magical Ability or power:

Gyrokinesis- The power to manipulate, create, absorb and shape gravity. While this has many branches, Richard is yet to unlock all of them, only knowing of Gravitational Down force (allowing him to increase the gravity in a certain are. Also letting him immobilize enemies) and something similar to telekinesis by changing the gravity around someone or something.

Skill level:

With the abilities he currently has, extremely good. But with newer abilities he'll unlock later on, terrible.​

Background:


Around a half week before his mother went into labor Artemis' mother caught a disease which he was never told. Because of whatever sickened her his mother died during the childbirth, leaving him with a mourning and guilt stricken stepfather who believed it was his fault for whatever reason. His stepfather carried the guilt and grief with him until Artemis was two and a half, then turning to alcohol and eventually turning abusive towards his son before he was even three. Turning the outgoing and kind child reclusive and scared of everyone who came within five feet. Once Artemis was in second grade his teachers noticed his unusual behavior and finally decided it was more than just a simple paranoia. The teachers took the matter to the principal who decided to call in his father to have a talk, fortunately for Artemis his father was drunk as usual when he came. Not thinking clearly once the principal started questioning his father about his life at home Artemis' stepfather lashed out and threw the desk lamp at the principal, as well as admitting to the things he did to Artemis thanks to his drunken state. After a fairly easy-to-win lawsuit from the principal Artemis' stepfather was sentenced to twenty years in prison for child endangerment and attempted assault. After the ordeal with his father Artemis was sent to live with his aunt on his mother's side who due to fear of upsetting Artemis never mentioned what his stepfather did him. By the time Artemis reached sixth grade he developed a sarcastic and often mistaken for rude outer shell to hide the broken and over sensitive child inside.


Once in seventh grade he noticed that things he often stared at for too long ended up falling into whatever they were resting on. Then not finding them in or behind whatever they were originally on he would find them scattered across the room or building. After about a week he was staring at a book absently on the bed in front of him until a rainbow colored fluctuating circle appeared under it and then disappeared as soon as the book fell through. Once his aunt saw this herself she called multiple people, taking years to finally find Valakerra Academy, then sending him there within a week. Unknown to her all the while Artemis was spending as much free time as possible practicing and perfecting this simple yet very entertaining skill.


Ability:


Artemis can create portals which after years of practice can come in whatever shape, color, location, or transparency he pleases. As long as both ends of the portal are in his eyesight or has the location and most of it's major details in mind.


Skill Level:


Artemis has pretty much mastered his portals but keeps it mainly to himself, letting others think he has little control over them. However a random portal usually always appears under something or someone if he stares at it or them for too long, the object or person appearing in a location usually within fifty feet of him.


Appearance:


Due to the years of abuse Artemis has multiple scars on his back and upper shoulders, as well as some on the top of his arms and one on his left cheek.
