Fantasy Upon a forest tale...

She smiled brightly at the man who had helped her calm down, and turned to the newcomer to the small group they had formed. "Myranda. My name is Myranda. You can call me Myra [pronounced Mira], if the whole thing is a bit too hard to swallow." Myranda said with a forced smile, trying to look open. Joshua spoke clearly, and Myranda was taken aback at how good his vocabulary was. "Of course you can trust me. I believe that we can be the power of this small group of comrades, however, I am unsure of what role I could possibly play. I don't know of any strengths of mine, other than I am exceedingly stellar at language and communication, and understanding." She said with a slight curve to her tone, putting herself down a bit.

I slight giggle exits his mouth. A leadership of three strangers over more strangers, flawless. "I'm Raphael" he said softly. He felt the long hair on his head rubbing at his cheeks and ears, he had forgotten even what his own hair was like. How did he remember his name? "How about we talk about this leadership later" he still didn't trust these people, they need to be watched.

"Yes." Joshua said with a nod, then turning to Myranda, placing a hand on her shoulder very lightly. "We all will learn to overcome our weaknesses, and bare our strengths upon this new challenge." He stated, nodding as he removed his hand before he felt too intrusive. He rose, looking to the two. "For now, I wish for you to follow me. There are people that need guidance." He stated, walking towards whence he came from, hoping one of them would bring the shirt of berries as he carried the pig.

With a strong sigh, Myranda smiled lightly and pulled herself up to her feet, feeling light and dainty- a feeling she had never thought she had described herself as. She bent over, picking up his shirt filled with the addictive berries, and followed him deep into the mysterious jungle brush. "So," she said, pushing a large branch out of her way. "Where did you meet these people? Were you spread apart or close together?" Myranda asked, trying to analyze a pattern or message her mysterious senders could have left.

I wanted the pig, Raphael though as he stood and watched as Myra walked away. As they walked he kept his distance behind the two and listened.

"I-" He paused in speach, grunting as he reached his free arm into a thorn bush, stopping them in their tracks. He ripped the bush out of the ground, keeping his arm stretched out as he dropped it away from them, bunches of scratches appearing upon his arm in a matter of seconds. "I awoke nearby them, but yet I had to ask for their names." He looked to Raphael. "I think we all can trust eachother, knowing the fact that our memories are gone, and all we can do is help one another." He said, pointing it out to him, seeing his eyes upon his pig, and reaching it out for Raphael to take.

"So no connection between you? No memories triggered? I had one almost instantly, after I awoke from a nightmare. Did you have nightmares as well?" She asked, her interest piqued. She came to his side, noticing long and deep scratches adorning his strong arms. "Oh-" she said, reaching up to touch it, then placing her hands back behind her back. "Does it bother you? Pain, I mean." Myra asked, holding up a fern plant so he could walk through.

Raphael's eyes widen when he sees the man rip the plant out of the ground. He takes the pig almost dropping it because of it's weight. It was fatter than he thought it would be. After taking it he limps back behind the two struggling to carry it.

Joshua looked over to Myra with a nod. "Pain, it does not bother me. Everyone feels pain, it is only the choice to fear it is what shames most people of the thought. I do not fear pain, I know with my heart and soul what I should fear, through the lord." He said, looking up to the skies as if he saw something, and smiled, thinking of something beautiful. "As for memories, I have none. I believe I am only gifted with that of common sense, until then, why not create my own memories?" He asked with his hands spread, taking off a branch poking out towards him. He looked down to his scratched arm, long lines of his dark red blood shown. He smiled, shaking his head and continued to walk, seeing no reaction needed within such a small moment. "Marco!" He shouted out, hoping that the others would hear him.

The Lord...is this guy serious. Raphael laughed at his thoughts and almost dropped the pig while doing so. "So I'm not the only one with no memory." He looked at the shirtless man "You are very optimistic aren't you?" This man is a paladin, Raphael thought proud of his observation.

She nodded, understanding his muse. He reached up as if to steady him, and said, "Would you like me to stop it? Again, I mean, the pain in your arm. It looks like it's bothering you." Carefully she backed away, feeling as if he had bothered him to some extent. I shouldn't be reaching out this much. I should be lingering in the shadows, not being the bold hero. Myranda once again put herself down, and backed up for a little bit until she had sided with Raphael. "You do know, that optimism is an admirable trait and should not be judged by. If you have a problem with his cheerfulness, speak up instead of muttering." Myra gave him a small glare, then straightened her head and walked forward, avoiding large trees and branches with ease. A small frame gives you the benefit of being limber, Myra thought to herself with a smile.

The stranger was silent, so Aviva allowed herself to look away when hearing a faint 'Marco!' in the distance. Was she supposed to answer with some other dumb call? Aviva didn't remember a time ever yelling for anything in her life...But then again, she couldn't remember anything now. She hesitated then figured out she probably wouldn't have yelled or raised her voice for much, if anything. She knew herself well enough. Slowly she looked back to Alaric, waiting for him to speak or something.

She silently observed him for clues if he was a threat or anything, and figured he probably wasn't as strong at the first guy she had seen...Probably not even close. She looked about her age, and probably around as tall as her too. She looked back to his face, still silent.

Joshua was going to speak, but soon was intervened by her defense. Upon feeling doubtful, he at the same time was happy for her defense. "I am alright with the pain, for now. Later, you may help." he said with a smile and a nod. "But for now, let us get away from the trees, all of us." He said, slightly glaring at Raphael, as if mentioning forgiveness through his eyes. He turned back forward, shouting out "Marco!" Once more, hoping for a reply at this time. "Stop." he said spreading his arms as he looked up towards a tree. Nothing was too odd about this tree, but an ape lingered above it. It seemed rogue, none others around it. It continued to stare at him as he stared back, feeling a sense of understanding within it. He moved his hands, waving the two to continue as he continued to remain eye contact with the ape, not baring his teeth, thinking of it as a sign of intimidation. Soon, the left the area the ape was in, and did not seem to see it again.

Myranda stopped as commanded to, and followed Joshua's gaze towards a limb on a large tree. Nothing was wrong with it, until she noticed a large barbaric-looking creature was resting on the wood. Instantly, she felt a pang of fear and rushed away, not making a sound but her eyes were as wide and saucer plates. She glanced over the man who was leading her, and saw that he had established some kind of understanding between the two, and was immediately relieved. "Are we anywhere close?" She asked, pulling a few branches out of her stride. A small buzzing noise filled her ears, and she looked to her side; annoyed. "Do y'all hear that?" She asked?

Raphael looked at the ape. It was a beautiful creature, agile and fast. His eyes turned to glares when he heard orders being thrown his way. Listening to them anyway he moved forward and passed Joshua, keeping his eyes on him as he did. The words of Myra came to him and he closed his eyes to listen. "What exactly are you hearing." he asked quietly.

Myra closed her eyes as well, listening for the source of the buzzing noises she had been hearing. "It's like some kind of vibration. Shouldn't you hear it? It's a bit prominent and annoying.." She shook her head lightly, and continued forward, the shirt full of berries in her hand. With a quiet mind she blocked out the noises and looked around, surveying the surroundings. There were giant trees, filled with moss and leaves as large as her head. The ground was rough, and rocky at some points on her small feet, but most often spongy and moist. The sun was still high in the sky, as if it was always daytime and it would never set.

Joshua continued to walk in front of them, catching up and knocking over dying trees with yells. "Probably just bugs?" He guessed, panting heavily as he looked around them. He continued to walk, thinking of Raphael. 'How could be have been so cautious yet we're the ones to worry about him?' He thought in his mind, a bitter frown escaping from his emotions. He turned around to face Raphael, a thunderous and cold look in his eyes as he looked slightly down to face his. "Listen." He started. "You may not enjoy what I do, how I do it, or when I choose to. You may not respect my decisions or beliefs, but you will heed them." He said, looking down to that pig. "I give you an offering, yet you choose to remain within the shadows of our minds, taking it without gratefullness, if all you wish is that pig, leave then. If not, straighten up and act truly like a man. Do I make myself clear?" He huffed, turning around to continue their small travel, not stopping to hear his answer. "Marco!" He shouted again, trying to find where their team had halted.

The yelling was growing annoying, so Aviva tried to respond a s loud as she could. She voice was louder, but obviously not a yell. "Polo.."

It would only be heard by the others if they were close.

Raphael drops the pig and takes heavy steps in front of Joshua cutting him off from his stride. His eyes stared back into his with intensity. "I have forgotten who I am or what I have done in the past but I know I'm no man of god or spirituality." he paused and his stern face turn to a smile "In fact I'm not sure I like god, but you seem to. I respect that sir." He reaches his hand out ready for a shake "You have a problem with me and you let me know, I respect that. You sir have gained my trust." His eyes gleamed looking at this man, he had new respect for the strength this man showed. He was a leader and wasn't afraid of letting people know, no fear. Even though he had trust he still gave off the essence of caution.

Joshua noticed the arm extended, grabbing it by his forearm and shaking, his free arm on his shoulder as he nodded, still staring into the man's eyes, easing down. "Thank you." He said, turning around and lifting up the pig, throwing it over his shoulder as he heard a faint "Polo." He repeated. He looked to Raphael "Someone's toying with us, we could've been lost forever if it weren't for our moment of silence." He said, turning to the direction, seeing it right in front of a tree. This one was too alive, so he had to manuever around it. "Be careful in this part, if you think something's up you tell me where." He said, his face turned to a cold, focused state as he thought something would occur, following the faint voice of betrayal within his mind.

As Jessica awoke from her sleep against the tree she found out that she was very Hungry. She was looking for food along the forest. Jessica though that she was lost but when she found food he knew that she wasn't loss Jessica just sat their till some one found her

Aviva said 'polo' again, it being the same to the first. The teen infront of her was still silent, so she turned away, in the direction the 'marco' kept coming from. Was it that Joshua person, or someone else?

Myra walked onward silently, her eyes focusing on the path straight ahead of her. After a while of walking, they had stopped for a while, with Raphael talking to Joshua ahead. She watched from a distance, feeling disoriented and a bit lost, her mind fading in and out. Every ten seconds, her vision darkened, casting a dark grey tint over any object in Myranda's view. Soon, she became so confused and lost, she staggered off the path and was separated from her small group. Myra felt drawn in this direction, and willingly obeyed her mind.

The feeling that something was wrong steeped into Raphael's mind. He soon realized this feeling Myra was missing. He halted and look around and saw no sight of her. "Joshua where did the girl go?" he asked knowing he didn't have an answer.
