Fantasy Upon a forest tale...

Joshua trudged through the forest, finding little bits of things around the area. "What are you doing?" A female voice called out, sending him to shoot around. He saw nothing, but crushed one of the berries he had in his hand due to the shock. He ate the damaged one, turning around and returning to his busines. He frantically continued to look around the area, however, not letting go of the voice that randomly popped into his head. He soon found a thought inside his head. Something that could help him grab one of the bush pigs he had seen running around the forest floor. He walked to a nearby tree, taking off the bark of it and twisting it to a line. He soon placed down a wooden log, attaching the string to a branch which had grown on it. He soon adjusted it to sit alongside the nearby tree, allowing a spike to shoot up and attempt to kill a big.

A pig soon appeared, running into the string, failing to die from the spike. But this plan lead to no avail, for it gave Joshua a chance to grab the big. He closed his eyes shut, a sad face upon him as he stopped the squeals with a snap of its neck, breaking down into a cry. "W-Why d-d-do I do this?" He begged for God's answer. But in time he would find the reason to be of fatigue and confusion to give him this emotional break down. He soon stopped his childish rant, however, hearing the screams of yet another female, nearby and very well heard. He wiped his eyes with his forearm, sniffling as he walked to the area in which he found a girl. He paused for a moment, studying her. She was pretty as well as the others, but yet something was different about her. "Hello?" He asked in a calming tone, keeping away from her as he had a pig in one hand and a shirt cupped with berries inside of it with the other. "Are you hungry?" He asked, setting the boar down and lifting off his shirt gently to resume carrying the berries.

Aviva slowly turned to face the younger girl, and tried to smile, at least a tiny bit to appear somewhat more friendly. "Hello..." She said hesitantly.

One of the corners of her mouth raised so slightly it was a little hard to tell.

Alaric woke up with a loud and blood-curdling scream as a puddle of water nearby change and forms back into his back he jumps up looking around hyperventilating "where.....where am i?" He looks around at the forest completely lost. He looks down to make sure he was dressed because he heard people nearby. He was still in a silk shirt, denim jeans and his leather collar. He rubs his stomach feeling famished but somehow well rested "Why dont i remember anything?" he asks aloud as he looks around for people.

Jessica will go back to the other and see if Joshua was there. Suddenly she hears another voice, so she ran back to camp to find the others and went to find Joshua and tell him thier are another out there

Aviva stood up and weaved her way through the forest toward the distant scream. She was already gone when Jessica came and told the people, or person in the clearing.

Suddenly she stepped out of the thickest trees and stood in front of Alaric.

Why are so any people waking up here and not remembering anything?...Why am I the same?

She frowned at the thought, but slowly snapped out of her thoughts to look back at the newest arrival. She was silent, waiting for the man to speak first.

I don't know what is going on but we must stick together no matter what you never know what is out there in these forest so we all must stay together she said nicely

Alaric immediately raised his fist in a sad attempt to appear menacing, "Who're you?" he asked trying to be loud but his quivering showing his true fear of the situation and the people he continues to looks around trying to find out where he was.

The thin girl merely glanced at the raised fist, then answered the question in her soft, smooth voice, "I'm Aviva. Who are you?" She easily noticed his fear, but made no comment or action to prove she knew.

"Where's The girl" she said in a scared voice. You guys didn't look after her I knew she would leave. I will be back so I can find her. Jessica runs to find the girl. She looked everywhere till she found her. Jessica said where we're you and who is your friend.

Raphael woke up in a tired daze. The sun fresh to his eyes blinded him and caused his surroundings to go into a blur. His fingers grasped at the dirt and grass around his body. As the scene around him become more clear he made out the images of the forest he was in. "What the hell." he said with a rasp in his voice, a cough came after. Raphael put his hand to his throat and swallowed, he needed water. As he came to his feet his now clear vision eyes scanned the mystic place.

Soon after gathering where he was his mind realized its lack of self knowledge, he could remember nothing. A grunt exited his throat and he did a little stretching before he began his walk of this strange place. After taking a few steps forward he heard distant voices bouncing off the thick trees. He sighed, more things he had to worry about. Raphael decided it best to map out this place before he worried about potential threats such as humans. He continued to walk ignoring the distant chit chat he heard. He had the feeling he wouldn't be leaving this place any time soon.

Jessica would go against a tree in a cross and thinks. Jessica was trying to remember of what happen and how she got here. Jessica was still don't remember anything. Jessica would ask herself " Why me why was I chosen to forget my life" Jessica just sat their and waits

While deep in her head, Myranda had still grown more and more curious about the world she had been placed in. With an exhausted sigh, she brought herself to an upright sitting position, gripping her delicate and pulsing hand in her lap. She figured, if she had been put here, it would have to been on purpose and there was a deliberate meaning behind it, so why not explore some? She ran her good hand over her forehead, feeling the sweat that had accumulated after writing the rune wipe off on her palm. A nice, summery breeze lifted her hair off her shoulders, and for the first time since waking up, she felt content.

“Hello?” She heard, and flung her eyes open, to reveal a large man, not much younger than she was, standing 5-6 feet in front of her. In fear and worry, she scuttled up, pressing her small body against the tree she had laid on.“Please- please don’t hurt me.” Myranda said softly, eyeing the small pig that lay lifelessly by his ankles. She blinked once, then twice, to make sure he wasn’t just a figure her mind had conjured to keep her company. Slowly, the frightened girl made her way a little closer to the man, and lifted a hand up to his bare shoulder. She gave it a quick tap, felt that it was in fact real skin, then ran back to the tree, even more befuddled than before. “What are you doing here..? How.. how did you find me? Are there others?” She asked, shooting out a slew of questions.

"Clam Down" she said nicely, I am Jessica I don't want to hurt you I am just here to help. Did you loss your life just like all of us,You are stunk in this forest . Then come with us right now I think we are find camp so why not you come with me and I can show you everybody else she said in a nice voice.

Joshua set down the shirt of berries, sitting down and leaning over to remain eye contact. "Yes, there are others. I think roughly three or four I have seen." He replied calmly. "I don't know what I am doing here, I only woke up a moment's notice ago. I found you, following your screams. Now, please. I'm hungry, I'm sure you are as well." He begged, reaching for one of the berries and plopping it into his mouth with a happy face. "They're good." he said with a nod.

Myranda shook her head rapidly, remaining in her position against the tree. "I- I don't trust you.. I woke up here and now I'm just seeing things. I'll wake up in five minutes, and I'll be back to whatever I was doing before. Hopefully, I'll be far, far away from here." With an exasperated sigh, she plunked down on the ground, shutting her eyes and counting in her mind. 9..10.. She opened her brown eyes back into the world, disappointed to see she hadn't magically teleported back into another dimension. With much remorse, she leaned forward back towards the man. Myranda extended her hands out, accepting a few berries from his shirt. Carefully, she popped one in her mouth, and swallowed. The berry came with a slightly tangy pop, but came down as sweet.

Seeing that she was extremely tense and still a bit scared, Myranda took a few soothing breaths and searched for another rune, this one being 'Jera- patience and calm'. After about a minute of focusing with her eyes closed, Myranda had the faint image of Jera held in her mind. Slowly, she opened her eyes yet again, and opened her uninjured palm. She dragged her finger across the smooth surface, creating two semi-triangles with slight flourishes at the end.Without a warning, her hand glowed with so much intensity, it made the bright daylight look like dusk.

Seconds later, she felt a wave of serenity wash over her, and Myranda slumped against the ground. "Myranda. My name is Myranda." she said randomly, placing another berry into her mouth and swallowing. She had grown a liking to the berries, their taste not only entrancing but also addictive.

"I feel naked. I need a knife." Raphael said to himself as he walked around the forest. His movement was still sluggish and tired from laying on the ground for an unknown length of time. The mumbles in the distance become more and more muffled with every passing step. A loud roar came from Raphael's stomach when a small pig ran passed him. He would have chased it if he had the energy. Going toward people started to sound like a good idea, maybe they have food.

As he changed his direction and walk toward the people he grew angry with himself for making such a dumb choice, but his hunger out weighed his anger. The voices got louder and he could start to make out the sound of a man and woman talking. He the two in site. The big man had what looked like a pile of berries, and a pig! Maybe going toward these people wasn't such a bad idea, who knows if they can be trusted though. Raphael waited in the brush and watched.

Joshua watched her reactions. 'So this is a dream to her... huh.' he thought to himself, looking around. 'Maybe I'm the one who's dreaming?' he thought once more. "Well, Myranda." He stated with a calming face. "Until you wake up, can I help you survive this dream? I'm sure I can help you with what you'll need to live peacefully in this realm." He stated with a calm smile, trying to keep her at ease with this moment. He then realized why she became so calm, the markings she had drawn. "What.. what is that?" He asked curiously, cocking his head sideways. "Don't eat too many berries." He warned, picking up his shirt while dropping a few extra for her. "Not only will your stomach hurt, but we have others that need some food as well." He stated with a jolly tone of voice.

She sat up, staring at him in bewilderment and interest. She thought for a while, then replied with a sure nod, "Yes. You can. I'd be glad to meet the other people." With a ghost of a smile displayed on her lips, she scooted her small frame a little closer to him; a sign of trusting and understanding. When he showed a bit of interest towards her runes, she replied almost instantly.

"I can practice Runic magic. It's a branch of magic where you draw simple characters, called runes, on an area. Each rune has a special affect, and the surface you draw on is under the influence of the character for several hours. I just drew Jera, the rune of patience and calm. However, I tried writing one of the more powerful ones, Mannaz, and it unleashed some kind of reject. I don't think my body holds the capacity for the majority of the magic form." Myranda replied fluently, her language clear and flowing like a river. She looked down at herself, as if she was ashamed by telling him about her injury, and realized what she was wearing. A small and light frock, and most revealing of her prominent curves. With a small gasp, she covered her chest with a light blush across her porcelain cheeks.

Joshua smiled and his eyes grew wide as he heard her words, looking at her eyes. "That's.. really amazing." He stated. "I cannot do such a thing as magic, but I am as well interested in such a capability." He looked at her posture after the explanation, feeling depressed. "Hey..." He started to say, then realized her blushing and covering her breasts. He frowned, replying to the posture with a small joke. "Well how do you think I feel being shirtless for this whole conversation." he said with a bright smile, but soon calmed down as he looked around. "Hmm...." he said, turning around them to see a bright red cloth somewhere in the bushes behind them, then frowning. "You know.." he started, turning back to Myranda with a pained expression, then back to the bush. "You can have some as well if you'd like? I'd rather not have a stranger following us rather than a companion to survive with us." He stated, seemingly welcoming the stranger for no good reason, except to ease the risk of outer threats.

She slightly smiled at his attempt at humor, settling her arms down awkwardly in her lap. "Well, isn't this just embarrassing," she said with a light laugh. Myranda averted her gaze from her own chest to his, and then grinned. That smile dropped, when his words announced the coming of another companion. "Oh," She said softly, looking over into the bushes, revealing another man, a few years around her age, give or take a few. "Hello there." She greeted him, with a slight grimace. She was still pondering the fact that she was really awake, and albeit her attempt at calming down. Myranda was unsure if she was going delusional by being alone or was this her reality at the moment. "You know," she said, facing the man again, "I could teach you Runic magic, if you would like. It doesn't require any special powers or innate abilities, and it's quite simple once you know the characters. But first.." she said, biting her lip, "we have to make a stele. It's what properly forms the characters. Without it, you can't unlock each rune's full capability."

Well aren't they observant creatures, Raphael thought to himself. He stood up and walked out of the brush but kept his distance still eyeing the dead pig. The conversation of rune magic took note in his thoughts. He felt the red bandana on his head. I guess this is how he saw me, how embarrassing. He took it off. Hearing the kind conversation between the two gave him comfort that they wouldn't harm him. Seeing the woman cover herself he walked closer and dropped the cloth in her lap. His hands cupped some berries as he back away from them and plopped down to a sitting position and started to eat without saying a word. His eyes where stuck on the mans huge arms, he could rip me a part. His eyes got wide as images of the man ripping his limbs off passed his minds eye

Joshua looked upon the man with a little concern. "Your name, my friend?" he asked, placing a hand upon his chest. "I am Joshua, she is.." he stopped himself, looking to her for allowance. "We just met, but I'm sure we will grow to become good friends along this journey." He said with a nod. He thought upon the others, thinking how they would survive. He turned around, thinking if he should return to them. Just a few more minutes. "In a little while.." He started, turning back to the two. "I am returning to my group I met roughly a minute ago, they must be looking for me. I would love for you two to come along, I shall forage while the rest of us can find occupations to help sustain a natural life." He said with a nod and a gentle smile. "As much as I can, I promise to keep peace between us, I want this trust to be strong. So here, I am giving you both an offering." he started. "Between us three, we will command the small populace. I will simply be the justice, if you have a problem, you come to me and I shall see to it it will be solved. Before taking choices, I need us three to agree upon such statements. And so on this circle will continue. Can I trust both of you." He asked, looking at Myranda slightly, but then turned to the unknown man with a worried glare.
