Fantasy Unnatural Academy

Mikhail leaned on Todd to stay up and shook his head. His vision was clearing up and his headache was subsiding but his ears had the worst of it, they kept twitching every so often. He groaned and brought a hand up to rub one of his ears again. Todd's babbling didn't exactly help and, in the wake of his receding headache leaving his mind just a little loopy, he sunk back down to his knees and enveloped Todd in a hug. Mikhail rested his head on Todd's shoulder and murmured "ssssssssshhhh" trailing off as his eyes closed. He hadn't quite passed out completely, however.

Osto nodded, and lead Jessie back to his room. He opened the door, and walked in, looking for change. He then turned back to Jessie, and held his hand out to her. "You can come in, if you want," he told her.

I went back with Todd to help Mikhail. "U-Um... let's go to my room, he can use my bed." I knelt down, grabbed one of Mikhail's arms, and wrapped it around my shoulder, waiting for Todd to get the other one so then we could get him there, it would probably be a lot more quiet than staying in the sparring room.

Jessy blinked and shook her head " No I'm good...I'll just wait out here " she felt a blush creeping up on her cheeks and she turned away leaning on the wall next to the door

Todd attempted to grab Mikhail's other side, giving the comical effect of a tall wolf ready to fall on Todd. He grimaced, and held him up, following Joe.

I led us to the elevator and got to my room's floor. Then I walked us over to my dorm, and fished around in my pocket for the key. I unlocked the door, walked inside, and then helped Todd lay him down on my bed. "There we are." I shut the blinds so then the room would be dimmer. It'd help him rest and with his headache. I took out a piece of paper and wrote that we were going out and that he was free to rest as long as he needed to. "Alright, he should be fine now." I smiled and then grabbed my bow and scythe, after a moment of thought, those criminals that had escaped could be skulking around any corner, better to have some protection. "Alright, let's get going."

Mikhail stumbled along with Joe and Todd, leaning on them to keep from falling over. Once they'd gotten to Joe's room he laid sprawled out on the bed, his tail and one leg hanging off.

Osto nodded at Jessie's answer. "That's okay," he told her. He finally found a sizeable amount of money, and walked back outside. "Ready to go?" he asked Jessie. Without waiting for an answer, Osto took her hand, and laid back down the hall and outside. "Do you know anywhere we could get swim suits?"

I followed behind the two quietly. "Well hopefully the big lug will be alright." I see Joe grabbing his weapons. "Ah making sure you'll be safe? Good idea."

"Ehehe... y-yeah, it's a good thing that this town is really... lenient about openly carrying weapons. I mean... it wasn't until I was covered in blood that people started really looking..." I rubbed the back of my head. "Plus, with last night's breakout, you never know if one of the escapees could be hiding around the corner, ready to ambush any unwitting students, better to be safe than sorry."

Todd absently scratched Mikail's head, thinking.

"I might need to move onto campus in that case," he said. "Then again, where I'm staying is pretty safe.... so long as no one knows about it..."

From the context, I had to make one conclusion. "W-Wait, you aren't living in a house, or an apartment, or the dorms?" I blinked a few times. The dorms were free... everything here was free... otherwise, I probably couldn't have even come here. Why would he not be living in the dorms. "Y-You're not living on the streets are you?" The concern on my face became apparent quickly, the worst case scenarios quickly flooding through my mind. "Y-You can sleep here, I can sleep in the hallway or something, or maybe on the floor!" I said quickly.

"Nah, I have a place," Todd said. "Though, staying in the dorms would be easier. Though, it might be just as loud as my place...."

"O-Oh, that's good." I let out a sigh of relief and chuckled awkwardly, I rubbed the back of my head. "S-Sorry... b-but the dorms are pretty quiet, not too loud, I mean a few bump and some music here and there, but nothing too big, maybe we could be neighbors or something." I grinned.

Mikhail's tail slowly started swaying and he unconciously tilted his head into todd's hand, ears flicking when he scratched near them.

The gothy guy looked over at Mikkish after seeing Mikhail get knocked out and carried off

"Well shit happens, right?" He said to Mikkish then chuckled

"So, you wanna spar me or not?" He asked

Mikkish smiled and walked into where one of the circles was drawn as the gothy guy did the same. They then both stepped forward in each a different stance, Mikkish taking one similar to what you see on UFC, though he didn't know much beyond the punching and a few kicks. The gothic dude took a more relaxed stance, with a hand placed to block his face, and the other placed to block his stomach. Mikkish recognized it as Kung Fu.

They both snickered in unison, almost. The gothic dude because Mikkish' stance seemed like one of an untrained, inexperienced wannabe street thug, and Mikkish because he had beaten up punks who knew "kung fu" before.

Each dashed at impossible speed at the other, revealing the gothic dude as another physical buff mage. The gothic dude went flying onto his ass and sliding head first into a wall as Mikkish' fist connected to his knew. This sealed Mikkish' victory

Or so he thought, before the gothic dude vanished, and suddenly an elbow slammed into Mikkish' rib several times, putting him out of breath. By the time he had the good sense to dash away, a large, multi-colored bruise now covered the area.

They continued their fight, until Mikkish and the goth dude were at a distance from each other, each to catch their breath and think over their next move. This is when, for some reason, the memory of James Garcia's face on the news came back into Mikkish' memory.

It had seriously taken Mikkish this long, now that they each had bloody noses, bruised up faces, and potentially broken bones, to realize that this goth dude...looked exactly like the asshole who blew up the prison!

"Hey." Mikkish said, pausing a moment and pointing at the other guy "You're..." But before he could finish, James was already uppercutting him in the jaw and kicking him across the room.

With a large smile, James ran out of the room and began running down the hallways. Mikkish, having suffered harsh beatings before, quickly recovered and began after him.

"Hey!" Mikkish yelled "Its him!"

'Where the fuck are the mercs now!?' Mikkish thought

"Ah... we should probably talk about this somewhere else, Mikhail needs rest." I walked out of the room and waited for the other two to leave as well before locking the door and descending the stairs, I didn't really like using elevators... they felt claustrophobic and moved too slowly for my tastes. Plus, taking the stairs is better for you anyway, well... as long as you're able to without too much pain, I guess.

"Get away from me, fuckass!" James yelled, rushing into the dorm building.

Mikkish dashed in after him, yelling "Fuck! Its that asshole that blew up the prison! Mercs! Wheres the fucking mercs?"

Mikkish tried to speed dash and punch him, but James dodged and Mikkish ran into a book shelf instead, destroying the shelf and sending books flying everywhere.

As I was walking downstairs, I heard a loud commotion. I think Mikkish was yelling that someone blew up the prison... Well... maybe my hearing was messed up still, or Mikkish had temporary short term memory loss... or he said that the person who blew up the prison was in the building... but that couldn't be it, right...? I didn't deliberate anymore and I rushed downstairs, only to find that Mikkish had smashed right into a bookshelf and sent books flying everywhere. "Uh..." I blinked a few times, unsure of how to react.

Todd followed Joe, and ran into him from behind.

"Hey! Small guy here!" he reminded Joe, peaking from behind him. "Oooh, is this a book brawl? I mean, I know that they have Harry Potter in stock a thousand times over, so there shouldn't be a need to fight...."

I stroll behind them looking around at the strewn about books. "Looks like someone's train of thought wrecked. If they had one to begin with. What the hell is going on down here? Someone insult your mother?" I cross my arms annoyed.

"If someone insulted my mother," Todd said. "I'd have to agree with whatever they came up with."

He glanced around Joe, accidentally brushing his head against Joe's side.

"So, what is going on anyway?"

"Right there!" Mikkish shouted, pointing at James as book pages and wood splinters rolled off him "The guy from the news!"

James continued running up the stairs moving towards the top floor.

"Um... the news...?" I hadn't seen the report, so I didn't know what he was talking about, I turned around and watched the goth guy run up the stairs. "Did he do something?" I quickly grabbed my bow and knocked an arrow on it, cautious about what he might try, or if I might be able to line up a shot fast enough to take him down.

A yo-yo snapped out from Todd's palm, this one metallic, the line made from a material that was nearly invisible in the air. The "toy," curved around the air, where it should loop around the goth guy's ankles, tripping and trapping him.
