Fantasy Unnatural Academy

Osto was at first relieved when Jessie groaned, taking it as a sign that she was alright, but then was taken aback when she pulled herself closer to him. He wasn't sure why she did it at first. He carefully thought about what to do, then made his decision. He simply tightened his grip on her, wrapping his arms around her body like a shield, and let her head rest on his chest. He stood up, holding her just as tightly, and began looking for somewhere he could sit down with her. He couldn't go back to either of their rooms. Jessie needed privacy. Then he had an idea. A large couch was sitting just across from where he was. He winced suddenly. He could still feel all his memories, all flowing around like an ocean. It was hard to concentrate with them. Instead, he tried to keep his mind as clear as possible, shoving the memories he had regained to the back of his mind. He needed to focus on Jessie.

He carefully walked over to the couch, and sat himself down on it. He didn't see anyone else in the library thankfully. At least she won't be disturbed... he thought, as he started to lie her down on the couch. Then he stopped. She had pulled herself closer to him for a reason. He didn't know what, but he knew she needed him. So, he laid himself down beside her. He pulled her close to him, pressing himself against her. His arms were still wrapped around her.

Jessy lay with one knee pulled up almost to her chest and the other stretched out as she laid in Osto's arm comfortable as she slept peacefully. Her nose had stopped bleeding and it was a while before she rolled around and woke up blinking a few times

Osto sighed when Jessie finally woke up. He gently stroked her face. "You had me worried, Jessie," he told her, "what happened to you?" He gazed into her eyes, a look of concern and worry on his face. He had been so worried. He ran a hand through her hair, and pulled her closer, resting his forehead on hers. "I was so worried."

Jessy blushedwhrn she saw how close together they where but she didn't try to move since his arms where around her, and he seemed to be comforting himself knowing she was OK. Feeling his fingers run through her hair she felt a tingle run down er spine and goosebumps ran down her arms, she hesitantly brought a hand up to her nose and felt the dry crusted blood from when her nose was bleeding and brought her hand away blinking, her nose almost never bled now she was getting worried

Osto watched as Jessie reached her hand up, and drew away crusted blood. He reached his own hand up as well, taking her hand in his. He sighed heavily. He had made an important decision. "Jessie," he told her, "I think I should try to get my memories on my own from now on." He looked into her eyes, and pulled her closer, if that was possible. "I want you to stop helping me, Jessie" Osto whispered the words into her ear.

Jessy blinked and moved her head back with a confused expression she had taken down the strongest of the barriers the rest where easy and wouldn't take nearly as long " Why? " she asked

Osto sighed. "Because I'm worried about you," he told her. "Do you know what happened to you just know? You had fainted. You were bleeding. You were hurt." He began stroking her face, trailing his fingers down her face to her neck, and back up again. "I don't want you to get hurt." Osto was very worried about her. He trailed one hand down to the small of Jessie's back, and let it rest there. "Please, Jessie, I'm worried about you."

Jessy was getting distracted by where his hands were wandering and tried to pay attention but once he got low on her back she gently grabbed his forearm so he wouldn't go any further and spoke as calmly as possible " I'm fine now, that was the hardest barrier... The other like three should be easy "

"Are you sure Jessie?" Osto asked her. He actually enjoyed having her hand on his skin. He liked the feeling of it. "Can I trust you?" Osto wanted to, but he just wasn't sure. He pushed her even closer to him, and inhaled deeply. The hand he had on her face trailed down to her hip, and simply rested there. "Can I trust you Jessie?"

Jessy tensed slightly and grabbed his other arm lightly, she swallowed and blushed red and didn't answer in case her voice wavered or was high pitched, she couldn't keep her mind off where his hands where or how close they where she could feel his warm breath and was so close she thought if she spoke their lips would touch

"Jessie," Osto said, "please answer me. Can I trust you?" Osto pulled Jessie even closer, so their lips were almost touching. His gazed deeply into her eyes, hoping that she would give him a sign. "Just show me I can trust you."

Jessy took a small breath in and did quietly " Yes " she had been biting her lip so they would touch his but when she spoke her lips brushed his and her hands slightly came off of his arms

Osto stiffened when he felt Jessie's lips touch his own. His heart started beating faster. Then he just kissed her back. He closed his eyes, letting this feeling spread throughout his body. Osto moved the hand on her hip to her backside, and let his other roam up and down her back. He wasn't tired of this. He just wanted it all the more.

Jessy felt tempted to pull away, but found herself kissing back sliding her hands up his arms and to his neck, running her fingers through his hair

Osto became more bold when Jessie kissed him back, and loved the feeling of her hands running through his hair. One of his hands slipped under her shirt, touching the skin of her back, while the other one moved up to Jessie's chest.

Jessy recognized what was happening and pulled away the memory about her mom came to my and and she curled up pushing his hands away whispering " Stop stop stop " fear laved into her tone and the memory made her tremble " I....I can't do this....my

...my m-mom.... " she shook her head and she projected her memory into his mind speaking to him there " My mom was....rapped when she got pregnant with me....she died when she had me....I....I'm scared " she wanted him to know the longing feeling she had and how the memory forced fear into it all and she brought her own memory back and sat up looking away

Osto knew he had gone to far. He sighed, and pushed himself off the couch. He grabbed the shopping bag from the clothes shop, and pulled out a blue velvet dress, handing it to Jessie. "Here," he told her. Osto walked away from Jessie, and began scanning the shelves. He pulled down a book entitled Bone Mages of the world, and sat down to read it. He could still see Jessie, but he knew he had gone to far. He needed some advice.

Jessy blinked and watched Osto then looked down at the dress " Its pretty " she said quietly and got up folding up the dress she held it in front of her and scanned through some books

"Do you like it?" Osto asked Jessie. He had been hoping for more of a reaction from Jessie when she got the dress. He had thought she would like it.

Jessy nodded " I've always liked velvet " she was unsure it the was the right thing to say...she had never gotten a gift from a guy before, she liked the dress but didn't know...how to react...

"Okay," Osto replied. He then asked her another question. "Could you go to the dance with me?" He finally turned around to look at her, hoping she would answer. He was hoping she would wear the dress to the dance.

Jessy blinked and blushed glancing to him " Um...sure, I guess...its not like I have anyone else to go with... " she frequently paused while speaking and turned to him holding a book titled 'Telepathy & Telekinesis: Advanced Training'

Osto looked at the title of the book. He knew the point she was trying to get across. He sighed, and went back to reading the book he had picked up. He was reading the opening chapter. It concerned the earliest known bone mages, and their exploits. He felt it important to learn more about his people. "You should wear the dress, Jessie," He told her.

Jessy glanced down at the dress which she held behind the book and then looked back to him " I guess I could wear it to the dance... " she then opened the book she was holding and randomly flipped through pages till she saw something interesting and smiled walking over to Otso she held the book out so he could see " Look at this, its tells you how to mentally create a two way thought connection...I've never done that before " she giggled " this is so cool " she pulled the book back to her and flipped through more pages speed reading smiling big

Osto smiled at they Jessie. The way she was now enjoying herself reassured him. Then he had an idea. "Jessie," he began, "maybe you could try the dress on before the dance. It wouldn't hurt."
