The Ghost in your Closet
Isis was slightly surprised by his sudden words, having not expected him to say much. She didn't know if he was still furious with her or not. She bit her lip again, shrugging. 'My father means a lot to me, yes. He was always taking the time to do things with me as a kid. He taught me so much, but not just me. He is the one we all look up to, me and my siblings. When we were growing up he would tell us stories of how his ancestors became part of the upper class. We were just simple convicts at first you know? We had no hope going for us at all and yet my great-great-great-great-great-great grand...something.. turned all that around. My father used to tell us the tale all the time. He made sure we knew that we weren't better than anyone else, and we would never forget it.' She shrugged. She hadn't really ever thought she would have to describe her father to someone she barely knew. 'He's the kind of guy that values honesty over everything else. He believes that family comes before work, that a good working relationship is established through trust, honesty and faith. He's the kind of guy that not only wishes on a star but does everything in his power to make it come true. He believes if your hardworking enough then you deserve the rewards.' She shrugged, tugging lightly on the bodice of her dress again as she walked. She wondered if maybe she was answering incorrectly, but she knew her words were true, just as her tone of admiration was honest, not forced. She sighed.
'In some ways, he's very different from my mother...' She said more to herself than him. After another few moments they reached the large manorhouse and she pushed open the huge oak doors, gesturing for him to enter.
'Mother! Father!' She called, looking about the vaste entrance hall with a frown. Where was everyone? She moved further into the hall, searching for any sign of life. She spotted a serving girl as she passed through, going about her task and called her over. 'Janie, can you tell my father that I've brought Tamotsu to see him?' She asked and the girl nodded, curtseying slightly before running off. Isis turned back to Tamotsu now, wondering what he thought of the place. As far as manors went, this wasn't even the largest in the district. Sure it was relatively sized but there were so many others that were far larger. In all honesty, she would have preferred a smaller place. She always felt so alone in the large place. She looked back to the stairs as her father came down, dressed in a business suit. He smiled at Tamotsu and shook his hand, noting the elegant suit that the redhead wore and nodding with appreciation. He, like Isis, hadn't expected quite the extent he had gone to.
'So you're Tamotsu correct? It's a pleasure to meet you. Why don't we step into my office and discuss matters?' He asked, gesturing to the hallway beside the stairs that led to his office. Isis gave Tamotsu an encouraging smile, her hands on her pendant again. She hoped he'd be alright.

Jayson glanced at the time as he finished the final touches on Elle's sword. 11am. Just enough time to have a quick shower and get cleaned up before delivering the selection of swords the prince had requested. He left the sword to cool in the basin before heading back towards the house, brushing past Michahael as the teen walked out of the bathroom, toweling his dark hair dry.
'Well someone has decided to actually bother with their appearance today i see.' Jayson joked. Michahael just shot him a glare and walked into his room, searching for his black button up shirt. Jayson located his own clothes and traipsed into the bathroom. As he stepped into the shower his muscles began to loosen up, having been taut after the constant work he had put in the previous two days. Ten minutes later he was showered and dressed, feeling utterly collected and refreshed. He knocked on Michahael's door lightly before getting a muffled invitation to enter. The teen looked up as if to ask what he wanted.
'I'll be leaving in fifteen minutes after I grab something to eat. If you intend to come with me then you'd best be ready by then.'
