Undead Apocalypse [Inactive]

Rena opened her mouth to respond to Nagisa's suggestion, but then stopped when she heard something outside. Those inhuman sounds were unmistakable. "Nagisa, Masie, I think some zombies are coming. We'd better get ready." she stated, pulling out her knife and checking over the items in her first aid kit.

"Huh?"

Nagisa looked around, terrified.
Nagisa then scrambled to grab the rifle and she readied her knife, she looked more determined then ever.

"We'll do what you say, Sgt.Ryou!", she said with a salute, she then scurried over to a ladder, climbing up to break a window and aim over at the horde.

Dan was within sight of the warehouse when he heard the moans off in the distance. He stopped to look in the direction of the sound and could see a wave of shambling corpses making their approach--probably drawn towards the sounds from the warehouse. Dan sped towards the rusted metal door of the warehouse, barging in. "Do you want the good news or the bad news?!" He exclaimed. "We've got a horde closing in on us, and we don't really have many weapons at our disposal, BUT! I've got water! Who's thirsty?"

"Give some water to Masie. I think she needs it more than the rest of us right now." Rena directed, doing her best to remain calm under the pressure of the imminent attack. How did Adarian manage to lead them so easily before? There was so much responsibility. "How long will it take for the horde to get here?"

"Alot", she said to sum it up. She sighed and aimed out the window with her rifle.
"I can distract them", Nagisa said, sighing.

"It won't be long before they get here.."

"No, if any of us go outside, they'll just surround us. Let's leave the door open so we can take them out one by one as they come in. Nagisa, stay up there and shoot as many as you can." she ordered, thinking quickly.

"We've only got a few minutes, but there are a couple things we can do." Dan spoke calmly as he set down the supplies, no sense of urgency in his voice, "Three options. We fight back, take out as many as we can, but draw in more zombies with our gunfire. Two, we make a run for it and leave a note for Adarian and Savvanah." He took a breath, "Or we barricade ourselves in, keep quiet and hope the horde passes us by. What do you guys think?"

Dan knelt next to Masie, holding a bottle of water to her lips.

Nagisa nodded and began firing towards the horde of walking corpses.

Some bullets hurtled through their chests and organs, whilst others were struck in the head. Nagisa tried not too shake as she fired, and then the ping. She had run out of ammunition.

"I took out close to twelve...", she said, sighing.

The horde reached the warehouse and started throwing themselves at the front door. The horde slammed into the door and it shuddered.

"That's good! Nagisa, Dan had a good idea. There's no telling how many were attracted by the gunfire. Look around and see if there' another exit somewhere, just in case." Rena said. She leaned against the wall next to the door, watching as the door started to crumple. She tightened her grip on her knife. They didn't have much time before they broke in.

"We could climb out of the windows and make a run for it", Nagisa suggested as she whipped out her knife. She sighed, cutting her arm a bit.

"Does blood distract them?"

"Your still in hell and your about to die so don't be too happy", Nagisa said grimly.

She readied her knife as the door shuddered more violently.

A growl rips through the air as I ferociously attack the zombies. I create a path through the mob, running into the building. "Hide. Don't look no matter what."

Shots rang out from Nagisa's rifle. "Well, I guess we're fighting back." He armed himself with the crowbar he had found earlier. "I can handle the door if one of you look for a way out of here." Dan stood, ready to fight for his life as Savvanah came bursting through the door.

"Well.. it's over for us I guess", Nagisa said grimly, laying on two crates. She dropped her knife and looked up at the ceiling.

"No point in fighting, right?"

The horde pressed forward the gunfire invigorating them and bringing more of there brethren. The door bent akwardly and caved in. Zombies presses forward in a wave. Some newly born ghouls emerged drpping in blood and began to feast only to be trampled.

"It's not over! This way." Rena decided. She raced off toward the window she had broken yesterday for the fire. "Go through the window and run!"
