Aria is stubborn in her choices and hates losing more than anything in the world. To the point where she doesn't even try unless she's certain that she has a good chance of winning.   When one first meets Hyun Woo they will be met with a surprisingly shy and pure boy. He is very naïve when it comes to life, leading to an airhead like personality. Often running into things, tripping, or being totally clumsy. Yeah, that's him. Even though he's constantly running into things, or being lost in school he's very smart and is the captain of the soccer team. Surprising right? Hyun Woo actually skipped a grade upon moving to America due to his high IQ level. This instantly made people dislike him thus causing him to be one of the most bullied kids in school. Pure and innocent, he frankly doesn't understand why people don't like him. Like an innocent child, he doesn't know what to do when bullies come along. That's where his team comes in. These guys adore Hyun Woo and are often following him around in case someone tries to pick on him. Captain of the soccer team, you think he'd be popular. No, people don't really like his perfect grades, pure mindset, having teachers favoring him, and being a Korean. Hyun Woo is the type of guy who will hold study nights at his house for anyone who needs it. This makes people feel like they're not as smart as him and that tends to lead to them badmouthing him. The one who's probably the worst to Hyun Woo is Aria Rayne. She's a grade below him and even though this kid tries to be nice to her, she just hates him. Hyun Woo is actually very sensitive even though he hides it behind a smile. Lying constantly to teachers and his friends, he makes excuses and says that whatever bruises or cuts he has are from his own clumsy self.
  
  
  Probably one of the sweeter sides that Hyun Woo has is that he doesn't try to get the bullies in big trouble. He tries to deal with the bullying himself without getting physical, however it just ends up with him on the ground. Why won't he fight back? Because this kid has a fear of violence and tends to stay away from it. Orphaned when he was only six years old, he had been adopted into an abusive family where the father beat him whenever he was 'out of line'. This leads to the anxiety of violence that Hyun Woo developed. He does have medicine for it, but he never takes it around others. Why? Because it makes him feel weak and it will make his friends want to help him out even more. However back onto topic. After four years of dealing with this, he finally was taken away by child services and was adopted two years later. The reason it took him so long to be adopted again was because he was too afraid to speak. Though Hyun Woo was adopted by his current family and they became his real family. Since then, they moved to America when Hyun Woo was a freshman in order for him to have an easier time fitting in. He hasn't yet told his parents about the relentless bullying, and instead puts on makeup in order to hide any wounds.
