Location Anubis->Outside

Mood: Shocked

With Masika (
@SachiGrl )

Zinnie nodded and followed Masika outside, not like she had much of a choice though, the girl had linked arms with her a while back and no doubt that she would be dragged out if she didn't move; holding onto her stuff with her free hand, she quickly and silently followed. When they got outside, Masika began to tap her foot and rant about the other person, her sister was who she was revealed to be. She seemed impatient and spiteful at her sister, calling the girl a disgrace to her family name. It was kinda saddening...

"I know this isn't my place, but maybe you shouldn't be so hard on your sister" Zinnie stated softly and hesitantly, she didn't wanna sound mean or rude, but it was just a darn shame that the two weren't as close as they could be. The kimono girl knew that if she had a sister, she would try to cherish ever moment together, partially because she has no more family to be with.

As they went outside together, Haeekor followed right behind, remaining silent as ever as he went through the walls, who needs doors when you can walk through stuff?

Masika looked at Zinnie oddly, but said nothing in return. She doesn't know... she thought... she doesn't know. "How far is your house from here?" she asked, changing the subject. She looked around. Haeekor disappeared again. She shrugged. The poor bear must have no life at all... she thought of the whole scene where he exposed himself behind Zi at the perfume shop. He must have been truly bored to get my attention like that... she continued thinking to herself. She couldn't remember what Zinnie described him as, but she was certainly glad he wasn't her lover. She would have died with the pestering thought... How do they DO it? She smirked, almost let out a laugh from the thought.

Location: Outside -> Zinnie's House/Shop

Mood: Quiet

With: Masika (
@SachiGrl )

Zinnie opened up her umbrella to shade her from the sun before pointing down the road, to the south.
"About 5 minutes, I live at the end, it's hard to miss the house" she stated before lowering the hand with the bag in it. It seemed that Masika didn't wanna talk to her about her sister, and she respected that; everyone had some things about themselves that they didn't wish to talk about, it was only natural. "Shall we?" asked the kimono girl, referring to walking toward her house.

The house was a traditional Japanese one on the outside,surrounded by a garden and cherry tree's all around, creating a lot of shade to sit under on hot days. On the inside, for the first floor, it was a simple shopping place, paintings, flowers, and other types of small trinkets were on display to look at, and potentially be bought. Behind the counter was a door to the second floor, her house; again keeping the simple design, there was a few decorative paintings made by Zinnie, along with flowers grown in her garden. A bookcase for books, a small table for sitting at, a small kitchen, storage for her food and drinks, a bathroom and shower, a small porch with a table and umbrella with a nice view of the garden in the back;,and her bedroom; each room separated by traditional rolling Japanese screen doors.

Marquist had been busy while Pili was gone. After he had had a good look around the store he figured out the General theme he would use to make jewelry for such a place. He found some paper and Ink and began drafting ideas. Indeed it would take some time to get these items made and he wasn't sure were he would get the gems and such. Given time he could find them or even mine them himself. He drafted up his ideas and then noticed the return of Pili. "Hey come tell me what you think of these!" Marquist practically forced the paper into her hand it had several rough drafts of jewerly pieces. An Egyptian eye, A gold Scarab and a Jade Pyramid were just a few of the sketches he had made each made with detailed notes to allow Pili to know what materials he was planning on using. "Which would you like me to make first? If I find a place to start a shop I'll get started on one this evening if possible." Marquist was excited the desire to create and make things was a great passion of his it burned within him as strong as the fires he would make in his shops. Admittedly he may have gotten carried away from time to time and made some over the top things that he could never really sell but it was the creation of some items that was the reward not always the money made from such. Marquist shifted a little nervously he was almost afraid to ask but did so anyway. "So were you still thinking of helping me to get a shop?" Marquist blushed he was not one to ask for help usually but his circumstance was less ideal then usual to start a shop so a little help to get started would go a long way.

Masika looked up as Zinnie unfolded her umbrella. "No wonder your skin is so light," she said while caressing her Zinnie's arm. She laughed when she said the walk was only 5 minutes, "Wow, how convenient?!" Masika hated walking. She also hated waiting. She hated a lot of things. "Yes, let's go already!" She said excitedly. As they walked, arm in arm, Zinnie & Masika's shoes clattered in unison.

Pili was surprised at Marquist progress, "Wow!" She nodded approvingly, "Hold the thought... be right back." She went towards the back of Anubis with the paper Marquist gave her in hand. She looked under a large perfume bottle that hid a hole underneath it within the shelf of Anubis' storage. She grabbed a bag full of an abundance of gold. She came back to the front of the store while playing with the pieces of gold in the obscure bag, "Here, you can either use it or sell it for your business." Then she pointed at the Scarab, "I like this one, but more gems. The Jade pyramid is a cool idea, but turquoise is so much better." She dangled her earrings to emphasize her point. All her jewelry was Gold, teal, and sometimes had red jewels. "This should provide you enough gold to buy you a shop and make Anubis some jewelry." She smiled real big. She is always happy to help.

Marquist stood in shock for a moment She had just brought him a bag of gold coins. Plenty to get a shop rolling. Plenty and then some from the looks of the bag. He could probably get a nice shop for once. And the Materials he needed to get everything started. Marquist continued to stand in shock. He really did not know how to react. "T-t-thank you" he managed to stummer eventually. This was a huge help to him and everything he did He thought of all the possibilities before him now and could not help but start to feel excited. "I'll get right on this. Uhm when will you be free? You know this town better then I do so If you get some time later maybe you could help me find a good shop. I'm gonna go and scout around the town and look at the competition and such. So I'll be around." Marquist gave a big smile and offered for a handshake before he went. All good deals were sealed with a handshake after all. "also I'll be sure to use turquoise instead. don't worry"

It warmed Pili's heart to see Marquist happy just as much stunned by her generosity. "It is no trouble at all!" She said smiling. Embarrassedly, she added, "I have so much money at times, I du-dunno what to do with it!" She then placed her finger On her chin pensively when Marquist asked when she was free, "I work the day shift usually, but since I took over in the Afternoon, I'll be out at nighttime." She said smiling again. When Marquist stuck out his hand, Pili's eyes widened. She's seen people people shake hands, hug, and kiss, but her family wasn't the most affectionate. The most they gave her was a peck on her head or a simple pat. She happily shook his hand with outmost delicacy.

Marquise pretended not to be shocked at the delicate hand shake. "R-right then. Well I'm off to hit the town!"marquise took the bag of money gave a half bow simply out of gratitude and partly respect for her kindness. He tucked the bag into a pouch on his belt. He could feel the weight the coins added. It was a nice feeling. As he went out the door he took care to pay special attention that the weight stayed there on his belt. Marquise began pursuing the town. He spotted some more shops after a while and after asking around found another blacksmith shop. He went in and looked at the product it was important to know the completion after all. Looking at the weapons the man had he saw that they were made very well. But the tools and other things were not made of such good quality. Marquise gave a grin. He could get good business going with tools. He would have to prove his weapons but that could be done with time. As he left the shop he bumped into someone. As the person excused themself and walked off marquise replied that it was no worry. He then noticed something very wrong his belt had gotten lighter. Marquise did not react. He did not need the thief to run he probably could not catch him. Instead Marquist trailed the boy. He was rather young he realized. After a short distance the boy was pulled into an alley. Marquist approached the wall and listened. The boy was being roughed up by some bigger men it sounded like. "Give us the money you worthless boy!" Marquist cringed a little at the sound of a slap to the boys face. The kid was scrambling back. "No no please stop." Marquist could hear the boy was close. He rounded the corner grabbed the boy and threw him over his shoulder and ran. He could hear the thugs giving chase. Marquist frowned. He put the boy down turned around and drew his weapon. Now he saw who he was dealing with. 3 standard street thugs wielding daggers. The people in the street backed up expecting a fight. Marquist planned not to have a long fight. He charged at them and with his sword staff knocked them across the street he pinned one against a wall. "Find a diffrent profession!" He yelled. His voice echoed off the walls. He drop the thug kicked him and walked off. "Any of you interested in Marquist weaponry will be abl to find me starting a new smithing shop not far from here!" Bad publicity was still publicity and Marquist had now made a name for himself.

Marquist went to the boy. "I'd like my money back, if you give it back I'll give you a job and you can make your own money. Also help me find a shop and I'll give you a cut right now." The boy nodded and stood himself up. He grabbed the money bag and handed it to Marquist. The boy then perked up a bit. "Did you just offer me a job?" Marquist nodded. "Wow" the boy exclaimed "follow me I know a place you could buy." Marquist followed struggling to keep up with the quick moving boy. The boy took him to a good looking shop that was obviously closed it did have a for sale sign though. After some time Marquist located the owner and made the purchase. He put the boy to work right away away cleaning up the shop. He would teach this boy much yet. Marquist got to work on setting everything up. He worked hard he wanted to be ready before nightfall.

Location: Outside -> Zininie's house

Mood: Relaxed

With: Masika (
@SachiGrl )

Zinnie nodded lightly to Masika's statement before walking forward with the girl, her arm still locked with her as their stepped in unison, like their own little marching band; Haeekor silently following behind them. After a few moments, she began to fall back into a routine, somewhat forgetting that Masika was there as she looked around at the familiar sights that she walked by so often during the weeks.

A few minutes later they came upon her traditional styled house, and the kimono girl snapped out of her semi-trance of habit. She slowly closed her umbrella before they turned onto the small stone pathway that lead to the house, the cherry tree's providing shade from the sunlight.
"Welcome to my home and shop" Zinnie stated in a welcoming tone after arriving at the sliding screen door; opening it and taking a step inside before taking off her Geta and replacing them with a pair of slippers provided in a small cubbyhole system near the door.

Pili Kakra

The sand throughout Anubis stung her eyes. It did not really pain her physically, but the thought of her sister being so furious over Her own actions has pained her emotionally. She swept away the grains of anger in hopes that one day she will shorten the distance Masika has created between them. She dusted, she broomed, she mopped the floor. She cleaned each individual vial. Eager to please, eager to appease Masika. She may have finished the front store in most of her hours, interrupted a few times by regular clients, but she still had the back of the store to restore to its cleanly state.

In a distance, the three thugs were furious and determined to gain some effortless coin. They decided to head for the Anubis shop where the old man once was. They saw a pretty lady in there too. Maybe they can get her and some. The three fairly beaten up thugs chuckled amongst themselves with their supposedly clever ideas. Little did they know that Marquist was going to return at night. The three bandits barged into the Egyptian store looking hungrily for the young lady, but she wasn't on site. The bell on the door of Anubis rung noisily as they entered and faded ever so slowly. "Easy coins, eh boys?" One of them blurted out. The other two bandits curiously smelled the vials of which allured them with a pleasant essence.

Pili heard the bells up front sound off, she got off the floor, dropped her cleaning utensils, to greet the customers. It was getting close to closing time, but that didn't bother her one bit. On the other hand, it did bother her to hear one of the men blurt out something about easy money. She began to worry. I guess I could test these new formula's out... she thought as she pulled out a glass bomb with a soft fragrance. She threw the glass bomb before the feet of the bandits. The glass broke and released a strong fragrance.

The bandits jumped at the sound of broken glass. "Ya idiot!" One shouted at the other, "making noise won't let getting coins easy, man!" The other two bandits looked confused. They looked around to see if they accidentally knocked it off the shelf somewhere. "Oii, it was us," one of them fends. Suddenly, their nostrils began to feel funny. Almost like it was numb-like feeling. "Eh, my arm is feelin a bit funny..." said the apparent head bandit, "Me legs as well..." commented another. "My nose feels funay..." says the last bandit.

Shoot... Pili thought frustratingly. I used the paralysis spray instead of the sleeping one... she mentally shrugged. Well, at least this formula was a success... she smiled happily despite the odd circumstance she was in. She was crept up by the side of the storage door spying on the bandit folks. They seemed silly to her. Almost like watching the three stooges.

Masika Kakra

Masika watched Zinnie as she looked about her surroundings. She decided to do the same, though she thought it would be more flattering if Zi was looking just at her. She is beautiful. Well, at least Masika believes they're are going to her house to cut to the chase. Most men would do that to her, but it surprised Masika that Zinnie rolled that way. She liked Zi's mysteriousness. I wonder what she'll be fetching for me? she thought playfully. Perhaps she'll show me some exotic Japanese lingerie... Masika began to blush at her own thoughts. Oh, you naughty girl, Ziii... she gave her a dirty look. Almost like she wanted to eat her innocent look all up. She hugged Zinnie's arm closer to her in excitement.

Time flew for Masika when they at last arrived at their destination, Zinnie's house. "Store... and house?" She died a little inside. How can this poor girl live? She thought despairingly. "How could you..." she asked dumbfounded. She couldn't even finish her sentence. She, herself, couldn't imagine seeing, living, chilling, ANYTHING with her store. It was her job and she attended to it as minimal as possible. Who would want to live where they work... Masika continued thinking; she was extremely baffled. All her sexy thoughts has vanquished.

Mood: Relaxed, peaceful

With: Masika (
@SachiGrl )

When they entered the first level of the house, she stopped Masika from entering beyond the entrance by raising her hand politely to point at the cubbyhole system.
"If you could take off your shoes please" she smiled softly before placing her umbrella in the stand behind the door and walking towards the counter in the back of the shop, going around a few stands that displaced different type of merchandise, some being paintings, some being flowers, others being traditional goods. Once there, she lifted up one end of the counter so it wouldn't block the door leading upstairs. "Well...my father abandoned us due to my abilities, and my mother passed away; so I don't have much of a choice. Besides, this is just the shop level; my house is upstairs, come, I'll make us some tea if you'd like" she explained in her usual soft and quiet voice before smiling and opening the door before disappearing upstairs. Once upstairs, she placed her bag of goods on the main dinning table, her half complete painting of a Swallow in mid-flight, surrounded by cherry tree's still out and open to view.

Marquist had been busy and his new helper had done well also. Marquist told him to go home and gave him a day's pay the boy lit up at the site of the money. He had earned it after all. The spot was quite clean now. There was still much to be done to get it ready for Smithing but that would have to be done tommorow. For now Marquist would simply be pleased to give Pili an update and hopefully she would approve of it's location. Marquist closed up the shop locking it just to be sure there was nothing of Value in there yet but he didn't want it to look like a place for looters. Marquist headed back to the Anubis store. He got lost a couple times being quite unfamiliar with the city still but eventually found the store. Once he arrived he was shocked to see the three thugs from earlier. "Stop right there! Or this time I will run you all through." Marquist held up his spiked gauntlet and was ready for action but they just stood there unmoving. Marquist became a little uneasy. "Pili are you here?" He really hoped she was he could at least make sure she was ok.

Masika Kakra

Masika blinked at Zinnie. Did she just ask me to take off my shoes? she stood in place stubbornly. Men loved it when she wore heels, but today she wore jeweled flats. Which she imagined weren't too sexy for Zinnie. "I didn't know you were so picky," she said as she slowly bent to reach and unlatch her sandals. She wasn't sure why Zinnie brought up her family, but she did not reply and decided to give her a show. She gave Zinnie a daring look, almost taunting her to examine her body. Her plump bottom was aching to be smacked. She winked at her hostess and tenderly removed one sandal at a time. She bit her lip as if she was taking something off that was naughtier. Masika wasn't aware of her surroundings at all. Her focus was Zinnie, and she was excited, in all kind of ways.

Two of the bandits attempted to turn and react to Marquist, but only ended up falling to the ground, completely paralyzed. The only bandit standing jumped when he saw his brotheren fallen to the ground, "Guys? Guys?!" He began to panic. "What the hell are these perfumes? What have they done to my brothers?" He looked around and spotted the mistress hiding behind the storage door, "You did this!!" He ran up to Pili while pulling out his dagger. He knew he had no chance against the large older man, so went for the weaker target.

Pili stood behind the storage door when she spotted Marquist. She sighed in relief... good timing, Marquist. She gasped quietly when the two bandits fell to the ground. To Pili's surprise, one bandit was still standing. My paralysis didn't affect him? she cocked her head to the side puzzled. She didn't think a person would be immune to her fragrances' ailments. The bandit looked her way angrily, "Uh oh." As he ran toward her, she scrambled to find her sleeping bomb. Alas, she grabbed it and threw it just at the floor between them. Suddenly, she felt a little drowsy.

The bandit's eyed widened as she threw the glass orb to the floor between them. He flinched at first, then laughed, "Ha!" He grabbed the half-asleep merchant by the hair and held his dagger at her throat. "You!!" he yelled at Marquist, "Open the register and gather me coins... OR ELSE!!!" he warned the chubby old man. He wasn't going to let him get away with the embarrassment he has caused to his brothers. Now, they must be the laughing stock of the town. He widened his eyes more, wiggled his brows and nudged his chin in the direction of the register.

Marquist moved slowly he did not want to make anything worse. He first put down his sword staff. and then raised his hands where they could be seen. "OK just calm down first off, and secondly I dont work here so I can't open the register. if you want Gold I have about 50 coins I can give you that's all I've got though. Just let the girl go and we can sort this out." Marquist did not excel at hostage situations he ussually ended them his way, Suddenly and violently he did not like to put up with people who used hostages. However he slowly started working his way to the Register. Hoping he could get closer and gain some leverage. about two steps in though he stopped he had another idea he leaned over and picked up the other two men on the floor. "Who might these guys be?" Marquist had the start of a plan he just hoped it would work.

The bandit smiled cockily as he watched Marquist step slowly towards the register. His grin dropped to a snarl when the old man picked up his brothers. His grip tightened on Pili's hair and pressed the dagger harder against her neck. Drips of blood began to slip pass the dagger, down Pili's throat. She was completely asleep by now. Her eyes clenched in pain, but her body remained motionless. "Who might this girl be?" he retorted back to Marquist. He pulled upwardly on the merchant to show how vulnerable she looked. She moaned quietly as she was being tortured in her sleeping state. The bandit saw his brothers' eyes wide with fear. Their bodies were paralyzed, but they were still conscious. The bandit decided to make a gamble. The old man had a good heart, the bandit assumed. He can't possibly kill his brothers unlike himself. He can kill a girl and more. He began to snicker. "I'm going to count to three," he started to say, "If you don't break open that register for me, I'll start hurting this little girl by stabbing her in the leg and work my way up!" His eyes were wild. They showed no fear and how crazy he truly was. His brothers looked worried. They never saw this side of him. Did they raise this monster? "One... Two... Three..."

Ma-masika... help me... sister... Pili tried to communicate telepathically. She only hoped her sister wouldn't ignore her this time.

Marquist did not like where this was going, not one bit. He bagan shuffling towards the register some more. "I think you misunderstand the situation you are in, You think you are in control but let's go over your options. you could kill that girl but if you did that you would have no leverage against me and I would end you in my own way. And perhaps your friends here as well. Now the other option is to take my initial offer. I will give you the 50 gold coins I have and let you and your friends go free no foul play I am a man of my word." Marquist facial expression changed his brows furrows his usually happy demeanor vanished and his voice dropped "But you have my word if you hurt her any more you will come to know true pain..." Marquist was now by the register and was close enough to the man now that if he needed to he could intervene very suddenly he hoped it would not come to that though. Instead he pulled of the coin bag from his belt and put it on the table at the edge of his reach. Marquist facial expression and tone went back to normal. "Now you can take that and go or we will have to discuss other options. I'm free to talk so take your time."

In the midst of Masika's flirtation with Zinnie, Pili's telepathic message came into her mind. Her flirtatious manner turned off quickly like a switch to a light. She looked utterly upset... Why are you bothering me now! Sand began to swirl around her. "I need to step outside," she said abruptly. She half-assed putting back on her sandals and stomped off, a trail of sand following behind her. Masika was so angry she couldn't think straight. She stood in place in front of Zinnie's house with her arms crossed. Sand stormed around her as she stood thoughtlessly. She's just being a big baby! She concluded and decided to ignore he sister's call for help.

Pili Kakra

Pili was counting down the minutes until the effects of her perfume wore off. Any minute now, the paralyzed bandits will be able to move...Pili felt the urge to touch her neck, but she couldn't move. It was stinging painfully. Tears were falling from the sides her eyes. Her head was thumping in pain also. She has never felt so much pain before. Her face was becoming pale. She coughed when the discomfort in her throat increased. Though she was already sleeping, she felt herself fading. She was losing track of time. Her life was now close to its end.

The bandit eyed Marquist suspiciously. He's willing to pay and let me go... He liked the amount he was offering. It was a nice chunk, but how could a bandit like himself trust some random guy who gave him an ass-whoopin not too long ago. It was too risky. He looked at his brothers as they groaned noisily. It looked like the effects were wearing off. This looks like it could be ending in his favor. "Alright," he started off, "throw my brothers outside of the store along with the money and I'll drop this sexy missy here..." He lightly touched the bloody knife to her hips up to the tops of her breasts, "...right before I leave the store... Deal?" He didn't stick his hand out to shake with Marquist. He just looked at him wide eyed, waiting for his response.

Marquist was none to happy to be dealing with the bandits but he did not want Pili to be hurt anymore she did not deserve such treatment. "Ok here is how we will do this I'm gonna put these two outside with the money, Then I will come back inside and you push the girl to me I will catch her and you can run out to your fellows there and be on your way with the money. it's that simple no fowl play real simple exchange." Marquist shouldered the two bandits and started moving towards the door he would wait untill the man agreed to the plan to put them outside but it looked like this plan was going to work. If it didn't he would resort to violence of course but was really hoping to avoid such.
