Fantasy Umbre Vineam (ignore post count, always looking for ppl!)

I will admit i couldnt help but notice as she walked away that she was infact a rather sexual woman, being a werewolf i couldnt help but stare. I blinked at abigail's words. "Ah yes. Lets be off," i said cheeky like as we walked down a dark street. We neared a large iron gate covered in vines and such. I waved over at the guard who rolled his eyes. "Ah you old devil you. Got in trouble with that potion i gave you?" I teased and he scoffed. "You said it would help... down there. Instead it made me have a... er..." he noticed abigail and quickly stood up straight his fat belly sticking out. "Ms.! Sorry i didnt see you!" He blurted out. It was after all almost early morning, she didnt venture out this long. I chuckled at his clear embarssment. Everyone had a thing for abigail, but no one really stood a chance.

I cocked my head at the guard and the wolf's conversation. "What does it mean?" Regardless, I ventured my gaze at the large estate and the plated gates. I'd never seen anything like it since I last visited the Mayor's mansion about 11 years ago. It brought back memories of a once existing family. Then again, that was over 100 years ago, no point in dwelling on that. Still, something was unsettling about the presence of this place. "Um." I questioned. "Why exactly are we here again?"

"This is Mimieux Manor. Also the Vineam Militia Heasquarters." I said dryly. I glanced at the guard as we walked into the manor. "Andrew, refrain from giving the guards extenders, please." I snapped as we entered the large house. "And see to it that this one gets a bath." I added before walking away.

A few hours passed and I couldn't get that woman from my head. She was the opposite of myself. But she seemed so comfortable. Hrm. I checked in with my fathern, an older man. But incredibly tall and fit. His salt and pepper hair slicked back. He wore his Militia uniform and towered above me even though I myself am very tall by typical human female standards.

When he excused me I left the manor and wandered down the street. My stature not relaxed in the slightest. I wandered passed a row of shops. My eyes catching a sign. Anubis. I wandered in. The smell strong. Ot almost hurt my head but my reflexes quickly adjusted. I wandered down the row of beautiful bottles. The dimness of the store quite relaxing.

I did as abigail said leading the young vamp to the bathing corridors. As she did that i headed to my lap. My safe place. I walked in the place a bit of a mess. Bottles and plants scattered everywhere. Vampire. A very curious case. I went straight to work. Mix, mix, swirl and mix. An hour or so passed and i held up a bottle filled with a crimson thick sustains. A smirk across my face. I did it. Heh. I glanced at the door opening. My eyes fell on the vampire. "Weird to be clean?" I teased.

Pili was in the back sorting empty glass bottles and organizing the condiments and herbs. She blew up at her face to fluff up her bangs. She knew her sister was obsessed with cleanliness, so she had already swept the storage and the front of the store. She lifted her skirt as she walked up two steps to exit the storage and to the sales floor. Dingaling Ding! A customer has entered. "Hello, welcome to Anubis!" Pi greeted warmly. She looked up at the very tall client. We sure do attract tall clients... Pili thought... At least this customer does not need to bend to get past the door. The customer was completely clothed from head to toe if compared to Pi. She tugged at the strap of her top insecurely and stood dutifully behind the register. "If you have any questions, feel free to ask." She felt it was rude to stare, so she watched the lovely red head from her peripheral view. Pi pulled out a towel and began cleaning the surface of the counter.

Never in my years have I ever had to do something as repulsive as taking a bath. I looked at the tub and all around the bath corridor walls. The mayor had one of these but I never actually had the honor of using it for myself. Along the counters lay different soaps, towels, and decor. I grabbed a bucket of lukewarm water and dumped in upon myself, little did I know that you were supposed to take your clothes off before actually rinsing but that didn't stop me. I threw my floppy hat onto the group and soaked my blonde hair, brushing it through with soapy water and an old brush. As awkward and weird as bathing was, I kinda liked it. Werewolf boy walked in all of a sudden and I wrapped myself in a towel shyly, forgetting that I still had clothes on. "Hmph." I muttered. "A lady never tells, boy." The object he help up intrigued me, I cocked my head and pointed to it. "What's that?"

I chuckled at her attempt on bathing. Guess killed two birds with one stone. No laundry. Heh. I smirked as i smiled happily. "Its a sustainable source for you for feeding, in this city if you are caught feeding you will be killed," i said casually as i took a seat in the near by wood chair. I wonder where abigail went... usually she asks me about my count and yells at me at how horrible of a number it was. I had a habit of doing what i want, much to her dismay."Anyways ill be working on other methods of curing your effects," i went on but still smiling. I loved science. I love my job. Though, while i think of it as a job, im forced by the mayor to be here. After all, i am a weapon of theirs.

I glanced over at the short girl behind the other. I could tell by her wardrobe... Or lack there of, rather, that she was kin of the woman from earlier.

But I was straight to the point. "I am having a hard time grasping this concept. You want to charge me 550 for stuff that smells? Help me understand." I commanded.

"Hmph. I only drink pure blood. Not some science project." I towel dried my hair and looked at wolfie and then at the potion bottle. It looked slightly more crimson than real blood, and it kinda made me feel sick. "Cure my effects...? What does that even mean?" I glared at wolfie. Could he mean me being a vampire? I didn't like the sound of it, or this whole science thing. The fact that he believes being a vampire is some sort of 'disease' annoyed me a lot, I scowled. "You're not doing anything to me."

I placed the bottle in my white jacket pocket and shrugged a bit. I knew well enough abigail would make her do whatever the mayor wanted, even if by force. "You know... i never caught your name, or do you prefer my nickname for you," i said playfully trying to keep i light. I mean, these are dark days, i didnt like to focus on negative stuff. I leaned back in the chair lazily as i clearly sensed tension. "You know, ive never met a vampire before, its quite thrilling," i said a hint of mystery to my voice. I love new creatures, gives me something to play with.

Pili was taken aback by the customer's question. "No-no problem, miss." She cleared her throat while adjusting her head piece, "Our prices are on a high scale because Egypt's perfumes are highly prized." Pi scavenged within a drawer that contained a scientific article on Ancient Egyptian perfumes. She held up the article for the customer to see, "Egyptians have been making perfumes for over 4,000 years. Originally, perfumes were associated with Gods, so our royal ancestors wore them pridefully. It is also recognized that our perfumes have a positive effect on health and general well-being. This is why they are applied as an oil-based salves." She went around the counter to find a particular fragrance. I believe this simple perfume would appeal to her... Pili thought as she grabbed the alabaster bottle of Stakte. "Here, try this one. Some women or men wear our perfume for power, other for attraction, and some for hygienic purposes. This is Stakte. 550 is for 390 ounces. 200 for 130 ounces, but since this is your first time, I recommend purchasing the 30 ounce for 50." She smiled as she offered the small rose scented perfume to her strange red-headed customer.

I leaned in and took a whif of the perfume. It smelled wonderful. I took the small bottle from her and tilted my head. "There is no magic in this, correct?" I snapped but it was almost in a concerned tone. People can never think I would buy something with magic in it.

"And also... what does this one do?" I asked with a soft curiosity, referring to what ability the small vile consisted of.

"Mari, call me Mari, or whatever suits you wolfie." I smiled faintly and looked around the room, then at wolfie. "Say, what did you bring me here for anyway..? It was a large manor, though it looks more like a chateau than a mansion. Even the bath corridor was lined with peculiar french designs, and the architecture was roman-esque. It was all so intriguing and I wanted a closer look, for it's lore says that mansions like these were built by witches. A witch, that's someone I wouldn't mind meeting.

"Hmm... I'm not surprised this is your first time seeing a vampire, a majority were wiped out or taken prisoner due to being of bad legend and omen." I tilted my head and closed my eyes. "Hell, I don't blame them. Vampires are ruthless." I stood up, looking at wolfie. "I'd tell you more if you were interested, but I don't really wanna talk in a bath house."

I chuckled standing up and nodding. "Youre right, lets head out," i said and glanced at my wrist. No watch, as usual. "Its time anyways we go find ms. Abigail, if i don't go over my review and findings with her... it messes with my day,' i said as we headed out. We walked down halls each door shut and a guard outside of it. I nodded kindly at all of them as we walked. "You know. It gets pretty roomy here, i think youll like it," i said happily as we reached the door. I paused suddenly and slapped my forehead. "Shit. I forgot. Youre a vampire.. hrmmmm.." i turned to a near by closet and grabbed up a red cloak and handing it to her smirking. "Alright red, if we dont stay out too long youll be fine," i concluded. Done a lot of research in just the hour i had away from her. What? I want to help her; no. I need to help her. Every creature.

"Is this really necessary?" I said, adjusting the cloak. "At this rate, you might as well give me a straw basket." I stretched out my arms and yawned, pushing open the entry door and waving innocently to the guard. I was also getting kinda hungry beings the last time I drank was some dying hag in the forest. Guess that guard will have to do tonight. "Open the gate!" I yelled at the guard, never ever was I able to get to tell people what to do, so this was great. I looked out of the gate, looking to my left and then to my right. "Where would Ms. Abigail be at this hour?"

I walked along the street next to her and paused taking a deep sniff. I could faintly make out her scent. I couldnt help but know her scent well... it kind of brought about other feelings. "This way," i said lightly leading the way. It was hard to make out exactly where she was, a lot of other smells guarding the way. As we walked I glanced down at her. "So. Youre 13, but i cant tell your older; by your scent," i said talking casually at her. I could feel a few eyes on us. I didnt usually leave the manor during the day, werewolves were creatures of the night.

"Mmhm. Despite my short and immature stature, I'm actually 115 years old." I chuckled and placed my hands behind my head casually. "In fact, I probably know more than you!" I looked up at wolfie and saw him sniffing the air, eagar, I mimiced his sniffing but to my dismay I couldn't smell anything. Shame, shame. As we walked, I could feel that we were starting to enter the depths of the city. Yet, it didn't seem like there were that many people. "Ooh, look. It's the naked lady's shop, the perfume place!"

I glanced over my nose hitting the different smells right away. It was very strong making my eyes water a bit. "Appears so... and i believe shes in there," i said leading the way into the shop. The bell rang loudly as we entered and i glanced around to see her holding a potion. "Looks like im a good hound dog," i said jokingly smirking as i eyed her. She didnt see us right away, clearly in a tranced by the potion.

She was pleased to see that she has peaked the interest of the tall, red headed woman. "No, sorry. We don't sell magical perfumes." This was not the first time a customer asked if the perfumes were magical. I keep those for myself... Pili smiled happily at the thought. She patted softly the pouch that hung on her side. "The ingredients within that particular perfume are myrrh, rhondinium, cinnamon, and sweet wine. All Egyptian perfumes have a positive effect on the wearer, such as good health." Pili suddenly widened her eyes frightenly and realized she never provided her name, "I-I'm so sorry, mi-miss... I failed to introduce myself. I'm Pili, co-owner of Anubis." She adjusted her head piece again as she looked at her toes. Moments later, more customers entered Anubis, "Hello! Welcome to Anubis!"

I waved as I entered the shop, putting on a fake smile. There I could see Ms. Abigail and another lady that looked like the girl from earlier, they seemed to be checking out something that looked like a potion. Enticed, I pushed wolfie outta my way and jumped in front of Ms. Abigail to get a closer look at the perfume. "That perfume... mm, I can't smell it, but I can tell its ingrediants are kinda weird." I looked up at the shop lady gleefully and buzzed out. "Do you have any magic here? I'll take anything you got!"

Pili blinked at the young girl after she asked about magical items, "Sorry, li'l miss. Only Egyptian perfumes." Pi was feeling overwhelmed and decided to retreat to the back of her counter. It seemed that these additional customers are acquainted with the red-headed mistress. She decided to eye them through her peripheral and clean the counter again.

I glanced around seeing different shapes and sizes of bottles. Different colors as well. It kind of reminded me of my laboratory, just cleaned up and smelled... strong. I pulled down my black frames glasses from my messy silver hair eyeing the bottles. I picked one up curiously. "This one... smells of ocean salt," i said casually and intrigued not necessarily to someone, i had a habit of talking to myself. Long hours alone in my thoughts in my laboratory. Heh.

I was almost irritated by their intrusion. This was something I didn't want anyone to know about. I mean, it may not be magic. But my father would not be pleased with this ancient Egyptiin hocus pocus.

But at the moment I didn't care. I walked back to the girl and fumbled to pull some money out of my uniform jacket. It wasn't really some money. More like a wad of money.

I set the money on the counter in front of Ms. Pili. "I would like to purchase the large bottle." I said quickly but in a hushed tone.

Why was this feeling like such a commitment? It's perfume. Not marriage. Straying away from my father's rules is definitely giving me some mild anxiety.

I couldnt help but glance over when i sensed her frustration and... apparent embarssment. I didnt say anything, but i could smell what she was buying was a mixture for a rather errotic mixture. Interesting. Abigail wanting love? Or to be looked at like that? I didnt expect that... thats for sure. Usually such a stuck up kind of character. Heh.

Pili was in disbelief when she saw the amount of perfume the customer decided to buy. Money was obviously not an issue... Pi thought to herself as she handled the money and placed it accordingly into the register. She then laid the large bottle into a thick paper bag that was labeled Anubis. "Thank you for coming!" she said courteously. She couldn't help, but wondered why she looked so anxious. The red-headed mistress seemed skeptical about her product. Pili smiled at the mistress and her two companions... I'm glad I was able to relieve any doubts she had. Today was a efficient day for Anubis. If only Masika came, so that she may have her break. She was already to the point of exhaustion. Pili grabbed a duster and cleaned any tiny specs that were seen. She did this with a very satisfied smile. Today's work was truly efficient.

Dearest Sister,
I would like to venture out now. Please return to Anubis. I was proficient at work today. So far we have obtained 2,534 in profit.
