OOOO I like that idea a lot! Yumi is definitely just gonna hang around Fuyuhiko and Peko as much as possible, so if Clover goes to visit Komaeda they'll definitely run into each other.

HAJDS I'm glad, I wanted to give them some small cutesy stuff because they've been travelling a lot of their life so they can't really appreciate things like posters or plushies. Band-Aids are both practical and it makes them feel like they have 'merch' in a way (sorry im blabbing i just have the OC brainrot)

JAGSHDA I didn't have a mom friend with band-aids but i was the mom friend with food. specifically one really skinny kid who i didn't really like because i found him annoying (i was also an asshole in high school so there's that) but he was like. worryingly skinny so I started eating breakfast at home and giving him my school breakfast because he always seemed hungry

he wasn't necessarily a brat, he was just pretty awkward and my patience was pretty thin back then (again, i wasnt nice) but like. he just looked sick all the time, while his brother was well fed and well dressed this kid just looked like all his clothes were from the thrift store clearance rack, worn to shit and all. idk, I didn't have a great home life and it's easy for struggling kids to spot other struggling kids. it seemed like the least i could do was make sure he got a bit more to eat at school each day. i was picky and didn't like most of the school breakfast options anyway
i think aside from him though, the only other instance of 'mom friend' was actually a teacher who kept juice boxes in a mini fridge in his classroom and tossed them at students who seemed sad

OMG I had a teacher in either high school or junior high who did the exact same thing but with Snickers, and would always say the little "You're not you when you're hungry" slogan as she did, it was amazing.

Those teachers were the best though, the ones who always had little snacks or let you do cool shit. my 9th grade year i had an algebra teacher who let me doodle on her whiteboard before class and would only erase them if she ran out of room on the board and it made me so happy

Oh my favorite ever teacher was definitely my seventh grade literature teacher. She had dyed hair and tattoos, and was one of those teachers that would keep the lights off if it was sunny outside to avoid straining our eyes. She was really open about her struggles with anxiety and depression, which for us middle schoolers because most adults didnt talk about that stuff. She also loaned me the Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy so I could read it for the first time, and it's now one of my favorite books ever, so I still love her for that

They are! I especially love how at the beginning of the second game when they were all playing on the beach, Gundham was in the back building a sand castle for his hamsters to play in it was adorableeee
