Tyresö Scene 1: Team Temperance [Four Factions ]

Selira and Kemal will walk out and try to find what's left of the civilian authority to try and gather more details. Obviously the troubles in this place have started before today's incident with the Lunar.

It is soon obvious that there is no "civilian authority" whatsoever.

The town is small and the Dynasts cover all the public functions.

The citizens seem to be quite fond of them, despite being quite upset towards the Realm.

Is trying to talk to some other Dragon-Blood more productive? after all, Whitewall is a nominal ally of the Realm, and as it's representative I might be able to get some clout, especially with Mastery of Small Manners, Sagacious Reading of Intent and the Bureaucracy Excellency used on occasion.

Triceria watches them leave before moving to an isolated place in the inn to 'change'. Finding a place behind a wall she takes a deep breath and concentrates. With a momentary flash of silver the pretty young woman is now a rather plain looking cat. Fur of browns and whites and a proud tail she preens herself for a moment before dashing away through an opening and into the streets. She wanders a bit, before deciding to find a group of people to listen in on. If she could find a source of information she could pump it dry just by observing them.

Triceria spends the afternoon lingering around the port, listening to those who leave and those who can't, but soon she follows a scale of soldiers to a tavern, closer to the City Hall, were their hopelessness is drown in wine.

Code:
Triceria: roll twice Per or Int + Investigation. Target 2 and 3, respectively.

@Shadow Red Claws: there are 4 DBs in the city.
Two of them are apparently unavailable, but in the meantime you may still want to take a better shot at the first two.
You are a social PC, it should be easy to adapt yourself to handle even the snarkiest DB.

Ok, then she will approach the other two DBs again, and try to get more info. She will activate Mastery of Small Manners as she apporaches them, this will increase her apparent Appearance by 1 dot, and let her know their motives, unless they are good at concealing them.

Triceria

The young Lunar moves deftly among the people using cute kitty skill to keep from underfoot. Soon though the armor of a scale of soldiers catches her attention and she follows them and to where of all places, but a tavern. She was sure if she should berate herself for not thinking of such a place sooner but she pushes it from her little Lunar Kitty mind and enters after them. Carefully navigating the floor she finds a relatively empty corner to curl up near licking her legs and paws as she listens.

----

Code:
And... boy does Triceria learn that info gathering wasn't one of her strong points.
2d10 → [10,7] = (17) 2 Success
2d10 → [5,4] = (9) 0 Successes

The diplomat from Whitewall approaches the Dragon-Blooded, her face set in stone, but it only seems to accentuate her beauty.

"Good day to your, and I do hate to disturb you when there is an Anathema loose, but the troubles plaguing this place seem to extend beyond the incident you had today. Since i've been told that it might have some bearing on Whitewall, I would be most appreciative if you could provide me with more info so I will know what to report to my superiors, and maybe they can help you in this situation."

Strolling through the city, Kemal goes in search of rumors. The worst gossips are off duty soldiers, so he goes in search of one of their hangouts, either a gambling area, a tavern, or a whore house.

Code:
@Triceria
The soldiers speak about the Howling Hill. It's were the barbarian tribe is camped. The other Lunars are surely there.
It's everything you manage to put together after a couple of hours of listening.

@Shadow Red Claws
The two DB are nowhere to be found.
However, you can request a formal audit at the City Hall.
You will have to post everything by yourself, mainly because we saw that doing it "by proxy" is just too messy.

@Isley
Roll wits/int + larceny to find a suitable place.
Man/Cha + Investigation/Socialize if you actively speak (more effective) or just Per+Investigation if you just listen (less effective).

Once I post things myself they'll know for sure that I'm with another team. I'd rather find at least one of my friends first before i go inside the snake's den.

Int + Larceny:
Code:
Kemal Hawk rolled the following in his 5 dice:
10, 3, 4, 1, 4
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 2 successes.

And for after I find a place, he Kemal will use manuulation to subtly steer the conversation the way he wants, towards information. investigation + manipulation

Code:
Kemal Hawk rolled the following in his 7 dice:
9, 8, 9, 1, 1, 9, 2
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 4 successes.
Btw, sry about the short post before, was running a bit late for work.

Code:
@Shadow Red Claws: the DB players know already that you are a PC.
Also, do you really think you will have more luck with the others?
Ok, they may be a bit too much 'kill anathema on sight', but smoothing the edges is what the Eclipse Caste is for. =)
You are a Solar, the impossible is expected from you.

@Isley: no prob.
I'm not splurging on narration either.
Let's keep the game fast.

As Kemal wanders around the docks, he stumbles on a group of sailors, engrossed in playing some sort of board game.

It's only a few minutes before Kemal is sitting on a dirty wooden box, learning the basics and chatting with the three men.

Moving the conversation towards the Realm and their Dynast representatives is far too easy, and some clues quickly emerge.

The four Terrestrial that share the Realm Mandate for the city are rejects of the Dynasty, and Tyresö was just a place far enough to keep them busy and away, lest not embarrass their families.

Tyresö has been neglected by the Realm, and while the citizens have no love for the Realm, they have a very positive opinion of the four Terrestrials running the city.

Triceria

Triceria yawns once poking her tiny kitty head up at some noise or another then stretches and leaps down to leave the tavern, she wasn't getting much information but perhaps that information she had was worth it. Taking a peak at the nearby City Hall might not be too bad of an idea and she wonders if the others have gone there as well. Padding gently and softly through the edges of buildings she heads for the city hall looking for signs of Selira, Kemal or more information she could gather. Jumping up to a windowsill is her first idea and she looks in scanning the room beyond as if she had seen a mouse.

Finding out some useful information about this city and how its residents feel about th realm and the resident exalted, Kemal finishes the game, making sure to lose some money to the sailors (people are a lot less likely to remember someone who lost money to them then someone who won money off them), and heads back to the inn, hoping his compatriots and his servants found some more information about the Chosen of Luna who was chased out of the city.

Code:
What should I roll for my demons?

Code:
@Myllinnia: let's wait for Selira's move, she may enter the Hall as well.

@Isley: roll Intelligence+Investigation for information about the Lunars and Wits+Sail for gathering the location of the Howling Hill.

Code:
Should each demon make rolls or should i make 1 for both. If 1 for both, then disregard the second rolls (time wise)

Daboia

int+inv
Code:
Daboia rolled the following in his 4 dice:
1, 7, 3, 2
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 1 successes.

wits + sail

Code:
Daboia rolled the following in his 3 dice:
1, 8, 7
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 2 successes.
Echis

int+inv
Code:
Echis rolled the following in his 4 dice:
2, 6, 4, 7
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 1 successes

wits+sail

Code:
Echis rolled the following in his 3 dice:
9, 4, 7
Using 7 as the target number, the roll resulted in 2 successes.

Code:
Isley: From the discussion of some hunters, Echis discovered some reference points to the Howling Hill.
You should know enough to reach it.
There is barbarian Tribe lead by a small Lunar pack camped there, they are planning to attack Tyresö.

Sorry for the lack of drama, but's late and I'm tired. =)

Kemal's trip back to the inn was uneventful. No raging wild hunt, no huge battle in the streets, just a simple stroll through the city, to better learn its layout, in order to be ready for anything. Upon return to the inn, Kemal puts up a pot of tea, and decides to await his compatriots. Before they arrive however, Echis returns. Echis has found a vital piece of intel.

"I stumbled onto a conversation about Luna's chosen you might be interested in, master. It turns out that a tribe of barbarians are led by a small pack of them. And this tribe is camped out in a place called Howling Hill. From the conversation they are gathering there to assault this town. Kemal responds. "Great job Echis, you may have found the linchpin clue to figure out whats going o here. For now, watch the entrances for Triceria and Selira. " In unison, the two demons say"Yes master" and are gone. Kemal pours himself a cup of tea, sits back on one of the chairs in front of the fireplace and awaits his companions, lost in thought.

Triceria's ears flatten as she finds Selira alone inside the City Hall with the Dragon Blooded. Jumping from her perch she goes to the door and finds it closed, scratching at the door a few moments she decides it best to find a better window. Almost frantically the cat bounds from window to window till she finds one that she can see or hear the see Selira from. Finding such a window she crouches down in hopes to not draw the attention of those inside while still watching, probably not so hard for a cat.

Seeing Selira start to leave Triceria decides to head for the door. Stopping at the door she waits, seemingly patiently but not all that patient really. Please say she'll get out of there safely she thought to herself her kitty eyes focused in want at the doors to the City Hall.

Code:
(Sob double post , Reacting incognito? makes it rather odd from here

Code:
Quite so, but's a great satisfaction! =)
Besides, the players level is high and it's a pleasure to see how everyone's playing.
It's also great to witness the level of paranoia that stems from playing against other PCs, totally worth the hassle!
To this regard, Shadow Red Claws, I think you should define better what you want from your diplomatic actions.
It's the second time Selira quits a debate without making her move.
You may want to consult your teammates on the strategy you guys want to take.

It's important for your team to decide quickly whether you want the Dynasts to be your allies or your enemies, and once decided, to act swiftly upon it.
If you are unable to make the choice due to lack of information, it is probably better to try your luck with the other factions.

Move quickly, remember that unlike in a normal game, the other factions are actively pushing forward their own agendas.
Losing time is not an option.
